Today is Valentine, but you show me love everyday. We argue, tease, pillow boundary one another, celiberate, deliberate to ensure issues are resolved in order to attain our progressive objectives as friends, couples, parents and confidants. Sweet, you are uniquely special considering how far we have gone (6 years, 2 glorious treasures, and still counting), especially your ceaseless support for my academic craveness. Me loving you more@ Eruku (His nairaland id)

FANE4Naija:Thank you@FANE4Naija, I do not know you too but I believe you are a realist that is proud of Nigeria and also appreciate the essential gifts of life. Thank you for your support. |
By this time next year: 1. Nigeria's corrupt leaders would have be convicted and their indirect associates would be in repentance mood 2. Nigeria would have set an exemplary pace on how to deal with other terrorist groups evidenced by absolute eradication of Book harampersonnel and their family members 3.Most of Nigeria's ministers impact would be positively felt especially SAN Fashola's 4. Salaries would not be unnecessarily delayed 5. I would have been promoted to my next cadre at work 6. Would have gained admission to two universities for my postgraduate studies: having the capacity to cope with finances and run both programs together 7. Would have successfully renewed my nursing and drivers license without bribing any one 8. Have more offers to give more public lectures in various fora apart from nursing programs 9. Would have successfully published the four articles I have done, and be more vast in statistics 10. Above all, would have been a better me as a wife to my husband, a mother to both my biological and adopted treasures, a daughter to my mother and parent-in-love, a cognitive teacher to my students, a compassionate medical philanthropist to my community and a dedicated model to Nigerian nurses. |
Merry Christmas!

Jorussia:It is obvious you've got no fact but hearsay et rumour. What a miniature mind you've got. " what if it was you?" Obviously, you got it wrong. Convey the message back to the females you are connected with by blood. |
Your perception of a nurse reflects the level of your cognitive reasoning. Personal issues were inappropriately used as a reliability measure for nurses. This shows the validity of your claimed shameful sexual experiences are porous. Who is a nurse? What calibre of nurses do you interact with? and by what approach? Truthfully, you meet your type. @Jorussia, I challenge you to openly declare the period (when) , the ward and the name of the nurse that "almost slept with your friend" while on duty in UCH. Ethically, it is wrong but we can proceed with your facts if they are concrete. To others adversely promoting the image of my profession - Nursing, be it unto you according to your words. |
dancok:You call her mum, yet you expose your weakness. Every marriage has its unique challenges. Hence with God and mutual committment et determination, these challenges are resolved thus making the marriage stronger. You boldly imply her income helps sustain the family needs but perceive her challenges as "problem".I believe you are part of the problem too. Considering her retirement in October, work towards being a grateful son. |
morning colleagues, how do u do? |
anonymousvic: Her brea.st is now as flat and fallen like slippers. After her second@op, it's unfortunate you are only concerned about the appearance of your wife's brea.st. If breastfeeding your baby was contradictory due to health issues as advised by the doctor, i suggest you should see beyond the 'cover of her book'. She should visit the hospital for thorough medical examination. PRAY MORE FOR YOURSELF RATHER THAN GETTING PISSED OFF |
I am your Registered Nurse. For educative, informative and professional write ups, visit Taiwo Arungwa's Blog. https://taiwoarungwa./2016/09/15/retirement-not-a-challenge/

How about emotional abuse from hubby or life threatening issues from in-laws? |
Thank you. I knew about sperm being used for facial treatment since 2000, I just didn't know the Scientific rationale . iluvweed: THIS MIGHT HELP.....ITS REAL! |
Nursing is my Calling and am proud to be a Nurse. There's no such thing as a 'Perfect Man' likewise a 'Blemish Profession'. As for those claiming nurses are prostitutes,.....proves u are what u call them, cos it takes two or more to tangle. Hence you are the bad eggs of your profession,....that is if you have a profession or a job anyway. |
There is nothing wrong for you to date your neighbour as long as you have a good/matured intention. My husband took the bold step too despite a wall seperating his compound from mine + (am Ijebu and he is Ngwa). Met my hubby @ my new abode barely 8month after I moved in, we started as friends, then dated for 11months and presently married for 3 years + we have our gifts too. Sweet is D best. Wish you Goodluck. |
* I regret allowing my sister-in-law and her hubby to be 'D SPONSORS' @ my Catholic/Church Wedding. * Two years after my wedding, she confronted me by expressing her bitterness of total hatred for IJEBU people. She later threatened to send me back to my father's house. *Thank God for His Mercies and for His Wisdom over my husband. I don't have any regret marrying an Igbo Man. |
There's an adage in Yoruba that says 'Bami na omo mi, ko de inu Olomo' ie, 'Pls help me beat my child, d parent of such child does not support it' For that alone, I only beat my child. My Mother-in-law proposed bringing a family niece for me from their village and I politely refused. As regards in-laws, it's best to stay clear, avoid unnecessary communication eg, gossips, insult , humiliation. I took my in-laws as my siblings initially but eventually saw what dey where capable of when I gave birth to my daughter. I didn't fight them when their humiliation was @ max, cos I repeatedly reminded myself of keeping my home. Even my Sis-in-law threatened to send me back to my father's house cos I cut my daughter's hair @that stage,I informed my people officially. |
Movingcoil: if u bite ur finger nails and they are always wet, u'll get little shocks from electric appliances cos like 80% of most buildings aren't earthed well or the earthing condition is deteriorated.Absolutely on point. I used to experience shock from electric appliances too but stopped when I implemented my Dr's advise ie, 'stop biting your finger nails + don't leave your palms wet' |
Pls where(address) can I get the form in Lagos. Pls help |
Nimakor: hmmm. And yet u crave to be with him. Hw baffling.ladies!-I shared that based on my experience as a nurse (not as a wife) -Research has proven: most women that end up in Psychiatric hospitals basically has to do with betrayal from men - I can't shout |
joanana: Are u serious? You encourage cheating? smh-I do not encourage cheating, -summary of what am saying is *If a woman dies because her hubby cheats on her, several women will step on her grave yard likewise, d man will have indefinite 'rounds' with numerous women *dnt let ur relatives show ur picture to ur kids in future in d name of RIP *be prayerful, of good moral , strong and steadfast *above all, be happy and make sure it comes from within Food for thought: A man does not deserve your tears let alone depression! |

For Women, -Tell me a lady that her Dad never Cheated her mum? -Despite that, our mothers were rapid @ using words like 'please', 'thank you', 'am sorry' where applicable - they exhibited humility, patience, commitment, tolerance, understanding and above all FAITHFULNESS -they basically applied WISDOM -Be realistic, This is AFRICA, we still av african men -let's be realistic, we can't eat our cake and have it. You married the son of an African man and expect him to be British overnight -rather let us be focus on how we can survive with optimal health status regardless of d circumstances surrounding our marriage -let us emulate d good morals of our mothers, try our best to satisfy our men(food, sex, and character/attribute) and for the sake of our children, BE PREPARED! @Poster, why not focus on 'Measures women can take to overcome the feeling of being cheated on'. |
U can also add dettol or savlon to the water. It works! |

I love this topic. It is motivating and interesting. I am a core Ijebu lady married to an Nthigha man. I am learning our 'Igbo' language. I must confess that I personally appreciate the propagation of Igbo Language. Daalu. Igbo kwenu! |
