Have you stopped to think that many women may be unhappy as well? Fact is, for anyone regardless of gender, who is a free spirit, marriage may come across as restricting. But here's the twist, when you get married, you are saying you are ready to make the sacrifice that comes with it. You are saying that you are ready to put another person's needs and happiness ahead of yours if need be. it is the lack of this simple sacrifice/compromise that makes marriage stiffling sometimes because sacrifice and compromise will make you allow your spouse some measure of independence and freedom.

Domestic violence is a no no and should not be tolerated. that said, divorce is not always the answer like some of the ladies here like preaching. Marriage takes work, committment and dedication, so ladies(and I dont mean the 'divorce all husbands' clan)please work on your marriages before packing it in. Many of these ladies preaching divorce(with the exception of debrief who unfortunately had an abusive marriage) have problems in their own homes, resolve them quietly and then come here to ask you to toss yours in the bin.

NAFDAC isnt saying foreign Eva Soap is fake. Their stand point is that the foreign brand in question isn't registered with them and so they cannot vouch for the brand. According to fliers being passed around by NAFDAC, there's an Eva brand with NAFDAC registration number and another without.

The flier goes ahead to explain the difference between both. So, while they are not exactly saying that the eva in question is fake, they are saying Nigerians will do well to avoid using the soap since it really hasn't been ascertained that the soap is safe.

I was just going to post this topic until I saw someone already had the good sense to do so. Anonymity is no excuse for uncouth behaviour. If you do not like what someone has posted, please move on. You can even express your 'dislike' in a civil manner.

Many folks out there with useful info are usually dissuaded from posting by this unfortunate trend. I just finished reading a post by a young lady who read of Adekeye Rahman's plight in the dailies and decided to post the story as a way of helping the young lady in question. She was bombarded with insults.

Being polite will cost you nothing. Your insults are robbing honest people who need help and information, so please stop.

The VC and all who support this stupid move of his deserve to be thrown back into the dark ages(and frankly I am not sure you'll be accepted there). And as for those of you who claim hugging is immoral, well, what can I say? Get an education!

Really oga VC you've got too much time on your hands. Hugging is acceptable social behaviour. It shows compassion, it shows kindness. It makes us human!

this happened when i first learnt to use mascara. i applied all my makeup, including mascara and then finished with a white face powder. well your guess is as good as mine. while applying the powder i smeared mascara all over my face and i didnt even realize it until i got to where i was headed and someone pointed it out. boy! was i embarrassed!
