Owliver: hmm you have a lot to learn. when someone tags you a rebel be glad. who isn't a rebel? who isn't selfish? who isn't wicked? these words are codes implanted in us by society used as a tool to create negative feelings thus get things from us.
for example, someone begs you money and you refuse, you are tagged selfish. Lolz that's just a word to prick on your conscience just to make you feel a negative anxiety so you feel guilty of "bad"... but isn't the person asking too selfish? why does he want your money.... but really we all came to this world naked, so "your money" is not even yours, you deceived out of your selfishness to get it. and I ask again. who isn't selfish?
I could talk to you for days but let me stop before I bore you.
have a great day you too.cheers. |

Owliver: yes inequality must prevail in a society. think about the jungle where there's no society. no rich, no poor, no strong, no weak but just survival. society is a jungle but a jungle of deception. where one is a billionaire and another can't afford a bread. religion tells a poor man to remain hungry that god knows why. without this acceptance of inequality society cannot prevail.
inequality is part of life, struggle, deceive and fight to get to the top that's what we all do but when it comes to family society if you take it so dearly then you must conform to the norms of a society, knowing that that one will have to be down for others to be above.
why do you think god does whatever he likes? cos he's more powerful.
I believe I have passed a great message to you. hold it dearly. know when to fight and know when bot too. choose your wars wisely. it's all vanity. That was insightful.Thanks. well,in a society where everyone has come to accept the status quo you would definitely be labeled a rebel if you crave something better. As for me,am looking beyond society,I hope to live life to it's fullest, finding my purpose and exploring my potentials,I would be sure to remember to align myself with people that crave the same. |

Celebrities › Re: ‘Being A Feminist Is Denying Many Women Of Having A Husband' - OAP Freeze by chiwetel(f): 11:23am On Jun 18, 2016 |
Owliver: no that is not the case here. feminists want equal right and that is what we kick against. there is nothing like equality in a society. osinbajo is vice president doesn't make him less a human. Buhari would break down if he does all the executive and ceremonial job himself. he "needs" his vice. you see? everyone is important but can never be equal. the moment equality comes in the picture there will be conflict of ideas. there will be war of words. no one submits to no one. and that is anarchy.
if you understand human psychology you'd know women are more powerful than men. but you don't use your power well, but are busy chasing a concept that breeds anarchy.
hope you get alright, still using your analogy. if equality is unattainable so therefore what prevails is inequality, from which stems up discrimination, unfair treatment and adverse effects of inferiority. How do we attain a balance? |

Sokoflow: I seldomly leave a comment here, but in response to what you said and @dollyjoy did said too. I think she has said it all by saying "what matters most is respect and understanding in any form of affair". By respect and understanding,i think she meant a man who respects his wife, support her to achieve her desires, potentials and goals. A man who treats the wife right, cherishes her. Who doesn't relegate the wife, he allows her have a say and her way when the need be, also who understands reason for actions taken by the wife. Above all a man that loves his wife and have good listening hear. I hope with this, you get where @dollyjoy is coming from(point of view). Thanks, its clearer now. Respect would also entail you accept her in all totality as well as understand why she yearns to be productive. |

Owliver: the concept of "society" is all about hierarchy. head and followers. this idea is imposed by law as societal morals or religious morals. with physical strength of survival we men have ruled over you for centuries and you have relied on us for centuries. now talking about marriage as a smaller society same thing applies. there must be a head and then followers. that's how it works. since time immemorial we men had taken that position either by force or by deception. we have made that our birth right even all religions invented by men dictated such structure. it's a psychological thing.
only the west have been able to deviate from such psychological order. we Africans are new to this, hence the reason for so much defence against such ideology.
so don't interpret in such manner. it's being a long time coming Fine,I understand your perspective. so,as a HEAD you don't want a follower that wouldn't be a liability to you, that can support you in plenty ways to achieve a common goal.you don't want a follower that you can partner with and share all your losses and profits with,a productive and useful partner?seems you prefer otherwise. if truly in the concept of marriage a woman is the helper, then I don't see any reason while she should be totally silenced to a point where she becomes redundant to even her own self. |

Moneytize: My dear, no sane man will prevent his woman from attaining her dreams, the matter in question is will she be that submissive wife and a mother to her kids when they need her? I did mention something about submission, ofcourse she's aware of her role as a mother and wife, she's responsible enough not to neglect it,its all about prioritising and trying to create a balance, now that's where the spouse should be supportive, you just have to map out a way to combine it,in all you should be ready to make sacrifices too,its all for the better. its not like you would be a nursing mother forever, or your kids wouldn't grow up.My mum was a perfect role model,I aspire to be better. if she could do it,then its very realistic. |

dollyjoy: I don't believe in equality, what matters most is respect and understanding in any form of affair. Women can never be equal with men, there is reason why God made man first. I think the sooner women accept their place in the society/men's life the better.. And where exactly is our place?? A place where we are intimidated and forced to give up our dreams? A place where we are disrespected because we are seen as inferior?I could go on and on,that's more like an animal's place.. I am no feminist, wherever that word came from I just don't see any reason why I should subdue my potentials, and give up my dreams because a society of small minds doesn't tolerate otherwise. I don't know about you,buh I want to be a successful wife, mother and individual and ofcourse am totally willingly to submit myself in wholeness to a man that not only knows my worth, buh is ready to support me to efficiently utilise my potentials. isn't that what living is all about? |

In a weird way I feel its those guys that have had their fill of premarital sex that end up being really faithful eventually, its like they've had enough of it and its time to take a break. Just like a player turn lover boy ,or a sinner turn saint. At that point its like it doesn't excite you anymore and u ve bulit some kind of immunity towards it. lol, that should make sense. Also, some guys abstain not because its completely their decision buh probably because circumstances have restricted them, give them an opportunity and they will unleash their potentials. Finally sha,its all about self discipline and control we are in total control of our actions whatever we do,we do because we choose to. |

Built2last: Abstinence from cheating is a function of self control.
man is innately promiscuous. It takes grace my brother.
you marry her a virgin and begin to Nyansh, after a while you will get tired.
The urge to try outside will be so strong.
what keeps you at that point is her character, Your fear for God and the vow at the altar.
For any man to start cheating, the woman must give the man a reason.
men don't cheat till they have a reason Even if there is no reason,he will find one.A man that ones to cheat will cheat regardless, have seen men cheat on their "near perfect wives"even after she tries to keep fit and look appealing,it makes you wonder"what does he really want?? while some of them lament about being bored and craving for something new, what happened to rekindling what u have and enjoying it in new ways? They seem to forget marriage is longterm. |

@OP, nice one Gbam..I hate that mentality of waiting on the rich to do everything, funny enough if tables were turned most poor people would be extravagant and less compassionate. we don't have to have money to help others, there are million ways we can be a light to people's lives ,spiritually, emotional and so on.If everyone keeps waiting for the rich to help them, who will be willingly to work |
