Last 2yrs I was persuaded and was convinced leaving doubtful was d best decision to take until it cost me almost 40marks.
In a situation whrby one knws d answers to some questions, but because it has been a long since he/she read such topic one has doubts. What shud one do, let's say in a 85 percent certainty of answers to a 15percent uncertainty? I left 12 doubtful questions, of wch I wud have got 10 of d 12 questions if I had tried. 3/6/8 questions, wch is equivalent to 12/24/32marks respectively, cud deprive someone admission and cause lots of pain and regret if he fails to try, especially wen he/she discovers negative marking applys also to untried questions. D best to u all.

as I said earlier on, u shud shade all coz u've gat nothing to lose and much to gain if u guess d answer/s correctly. Whether u leave or shade doubtful answers, negative marking is non-negotiable. Wish u all d best

I want to kindly ask u if u've written oau post-ume b4? If u hav, den I expect u to say d opposite. It is glaring oau uses negative marking method. I confirmed it after assessing my past questions 2yrs over. And I'll add here dat leaving unsure and doubtful answers doesn't prevent d negative marks to be deducted from d left out answers as I was meant to believe. In crs, I wrongly answered 1 question and left 1 out unanswered due to doubts. Instead of scoring 90, I scored 88. Dis goes a long a long way to prove oau uses negative marking method because if d reverse was d case, I wud have scored 92 on 100. So, I'll advise everyone to shade doubtful answer because u've got nothing to lose and much to gain doing so. God speed.

adeadebayor: ur case is not really difficult. On d day of interview go wit al ur certificate, if a question is raised as regds dat just show them d other certificate. Shikena. If u read dv2013 forum u wil see similar case.

@santa and every other guru on d thread, I nid ur counsel. Wen filling d form I ws told dat havin credit passes in maths and eng wasn't necessary, dat since I had five credits I was well enuf to go. I had an F9 in maths but passed every other subject in waec, and I used d result in fillin d form as my higest qualificatn. I hav anoda olevel result(neco) wch I passed all d subject includin maths, bt I decided to use d previous waec because I hav its certificate already. Finally, I think Keshi should look for another way of punishing erring players instead of not inviting them @all. For example, he should have invited Osaze and allow him to play the matches but then find another way of punishing him(like not giving him his allowance or give him half of it as a way of admonition) that way, it will serve as a deterrent to others. Thanks ferdimako, but in filling d form I filled in my sch leaving wassc wch is faulty (deficiency in grades, name and date if birth). But I have no problem wit dat of 2011wassc. Pls I help from those hu have travelled successfully because of ur wealth of knowledge in the process. I'm a winner of d diversity visa but I have have technical problems dat may disqualify me. I spent 8yrs in secondary sch instead of six. I had a bad wassc result and d original wassc didn't write my name and age correctly. Lastly, it took me 8yr after leaving school b4 I got my wassc in a may/june exam (finished 2003-got my result 2011). Will dey ask 4 my 2003wassc since I didn't obtain my from there? If dey do ask, can i process d correction frm waec in one month? D space of time between wen Ieft sch to d time I obtain my olevel, will it b a critical issue? MR viccipedia, whenever somebody writes something wrongly, it is nt solely dat he doesn't knw it, but may have made a mistake wch everybody is susceptible to. U cud get anoda scratch card and change it again, there's no limit to d number of times u change it, its ur money dat counts. Go buy anoda scratch card. I had unlike similar problem. Checked my result @ d 3rd try after encountering Biometric problem, but when I went to print it, d person cudnt get it printed in one single document and he exhausted my checking limit. So, I'll have to go get anoda scratch card.
