Yes I worked in the beer parlour it was temporary, my latest job was househelp

I don't have any concrete evidence of what I am saying but I have a feeling that he as sold her and she is out somewhere with a new family

Communication was less because my dad doesn't have android phone, I couldn't call them with whatsapp which is cheaper than normal calls , normal calls is veru expensive in a different country

Thank you for the advice , I didn't abandoned my daughter since when leaving a child with her grandparents as become abandonment or a crime , they are so many children who are leaving with grandparents when their parents are away working hard to secure their future I did the same for my daughter's sake , I didn't go there for fun or to sleep with men I went there for work and to secure my daughter's future just like any other parent would do and I don't know why some people are judging me and criticise me like I am the first person who as left a child under the care of grandparents, they are my parents they are not strangers , neighbours or friends that I left her with , I left her with my parents because I knew she was in good hands and I can closed my eyes and sleep at night knowing that she is safe my daughter is not dead I strongly believed my dad was angry with me for leaving so he punished me was by selling her , I agreed that I had disobey him but he didn't have any right to sold my daughter no way and he as to provide her or else .........

I traveled to Togo against my parents wish in the year 2021 for a greener pasture I left behind my 3 years old daughter with my parents , although the reality I have seen in Togo was not as expected, but I was at least working and sending something home to my parents.

Communication was less because I couldn't afford to calls more often. I returned back home this august the 7th and my daughter was nowhere to be found.

My parents first lied to me that she was with my mum's sister that they will send someone to pick her up but to no avail. So myself I went to my mum sister house and my daughter wasn't there and she doesn't know where she was.

I asked my parents over and over again all I could get is insults from my dad , he is angry whenever i bring the subject and my siblings are not cooperating and they've refusing to tell me the truth.

I am sick and tired of asking and no getting any answers I am trying to be calm to avoid disrespecting my parents but I am loosing patience.

So many things is going throught my head I will have no option but to take things into my own hands and hurt my dad the outcome may be deadly ,

Please no insult how do I handle the situation without disrespecting my parents or do you think I should take the matter to the police ?

Togo is a fellow but poorer West African country just like Nigeria. Your earnings as a waitress over there should be lower than what you can get from Nigeria here.

For a young 19 years old girl who doesn’t have any special training, skills or qualifications, there is a very likelihood that you have no better prospects for making money than using your body(prostitution).

Prostitution on the other hand is not entirely a bad profession if you understand what you are getting into, and you equip your mind to handle it but for the fact is that prostitution is largely illegal in most countries.

You being young, living in a foreign land and being in in an illegal profession makes you vulnerable and people can take advantage of that knowing that they are likely to get away with it.
You can end up as a forced sex worker.
Imagine having to have sex with random foreign men regardless of how you feel about them but because there is a quota you have to meet up in order to pay your madam or master.

The men who pays to have sex with you know you are a foreigner and you are engaging in an illegal business may likely end up abusing you and treating you like trash since they are paying to have your way with you.
Men don’t like parting with their money and they may get aggressive or try tricking you after sex when they “cum” to their senses and the alcohol/cigarettes illusion has worn off.

I understand your desire to change your economic status for yourself and your child,
The surest way out is for you to equip yourself with a a skill. You can learn tailoring.
You will have to self develop yourself less as a girl you have nothing else to offer except your body.

My plans are to get a better job to give my daughter a better life , I taught going to Togo will change my life because my friend she is doing so much better than when she was back here , her family and children are now doing so well and I want the same lifestyle like her
