Its high time the igbos stop seeking for protection from the nigerian state or government,those involve in the government are using the sam goverment instititutions to disloge igbo interest in nigeria,thats why,since apc won the election the igbo sentiment have risen to very serious dimension,these tells the level of hidden misconception of the igbo race,igbos should quickly involve the united nation before histroy repeats it self.


Igbos are the enemy within. They are still fighting the civil war by other means. As El Niño said, they are stuck in the 1960s. They hate everyone who is perceived to have contributed to their defeat in the civil war and, it does not matter what you do to appease the, they will get their pound of flesh before they are satisfied.

Imagine you have a fight with someone and you think it is all settled. And then you house his child in your home thinking you are all friends again but the guy, due to brainwashing by his parents, does not really think you are friends but is only with you because it is convenient while he is waiting for the next opportunity to take you out. Even though he lives with you, he does not like you, thinks you are beneath him, opposes anything you support, openly challenges and disrespects your parents and family traditions while plotting to take over your house.

The Igbo in Lagos have appealed to Lagos State government and the state Commissioner of Police,

Mr Kayode Aderanti, to put security measures in place to ensure the protection of their lives and property after the general elections.

The appeal came just as they demanded an apology from Oba Rilwan Akiolu of Lagos over his comment that the Igbo would perish in the Lagos lagoon, in seven days, if they did not vote for his choice governorship candidate in yesterday’s elections.

The Chairman, Ohaneze Ndigbo in Amuwo Odofin local government area, Chief Akalika Emmanuel, explained that the call for the protection of life and property became necessary to avoid unforeseen circumstances.

Acknowledging the intervention of the president elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, and opinion leaders from Igbo and Yoruba land, Emmanuel stated that the Igbo had sheathed their sword in demonstration of their love for Lagos State, as well as their maturity and willingness to be each other brothers’ keepers.

Nevertheless, he demanded that a documentary prove that such threat from Akiolu would not repeat itself be made available, adding that the property of Ndi -Igbo would not be unduly taxed nor demolished, no matter the direction of the victory of yesterday’s governorship election.

Continuing he said: “We also demand that our business premises and other matters of interest will not come under any form of intimidation now or in future”.

Yesterday iwas chatting with some yoruba men that I give work atimes f production, am igbo by the way but relate freely and maturely; I asked the oldest man there, About 60 plus, I asked why did the yorubas and the northerners didn't want the Igbos to go out from Nigeria to form Biafra?

This inhumane discrimination has been going on for a long time! As long as u are a citizen of Nigeria, u have every right to settle down wherever u want in Nigeria.

we don't discriminate against any tribe in igboland, so why should they? In case they didn't know, igbos also took part in developing Lagos. Igbos are the most hardworking ppl in Nigeria(and I'm not saying that bkus I'm Igbo, its the fvcking truth. just like everybody knows Yorubas like education and parties)

for Pete's sake, we are the same ppl, human beings. just like someone said, tribes are just created to give power, it doesn't differentiate u from others.
