I have gone through all the comments on this thread and it was inspiring..

I want to believe so many people here if not all already had experienced with IHS recruitment..

Please all I have been called to write IHS ISAP FINANCE AND ANALYTICS ASSESSMENT and I don't have the idea of what to expect..

Please can someone here kindly walk me through the process and the necessary materials to prepare for the assessment and beyond..

Did they tell you when your to write the exam.
I was suppose to write on Saturday after filling the form on Friday but didn't get the test Link. I mailed them no response.

Please let me know when your to take your own exam so I might be hopeful.

I will really like to know coz I was inform on Friday that after filling the form within 12hours I will receive a link to write the test on Saturday and I didn't receive the test link till now.

Finally received a mail with the test link

I have not seen test link. I have even mail the person that says after filling the form will get a test link.

Till now, no test link and no reply from him.

Since I have been following PWC recruitment, I have not seen NAIRALAND as dried like this

All those people who say time table was flying everywhere, kinky tell us when they say resumption will be (from it we might get a clue)

I tried asking the panel during my interview when they will get back to me regarding the outcome but they say they can't tell.

Yes that's the case study. Anything can still happen, don't give up yet

Though that exam wasn't difficult but the time allotment was not enough (for one to finish it, the person has to use 3minutes and 12seconds per question)

My question was to advice on how to increase a revenue of a company that had a problem of declining revenue in his current year.

In all, I think our work description is to solve companies problem. To solve the problem you will have to know the information that is needed(the company might have this information you need, if they doesn't you might have to do some resaerch for them to get those info)

After getting this information you will have to do some analysis to ascertain what cause this problem. You now have to decide what the organization have to do to solve the problem.

You then communicate effectively to the organization on the best way forwards base on your findings.

This are my own understanding of this recruitment so far.

I was able to answer up to 6 questions out of 8.

During my video interview, I was confidently talking nonsense. Thanks to that person that gave us the info to summit the video on the second trial.

When I click the video to do it for the second time, NEPA took light(some persons will say village people) and every where was some how dark.

I knew what number 7 & 8 question will be saying (even though I could see them) so I made a logical conclusion and provide my recommendation to the CEO of the organization in questions.

I'm positive but I'm preparing for any outcome. I wish I and you to sail through this.

If there is any typo error just smile when you see it.

Please who was able to finish those 8 questions? And how did you go about it?

Just for the one minute video.

I just completed mine. it has to be the best case experience i have ever had. Enough time, engaging and oddly effective. i only did 5 out of 9 questions though.the one minute interview was fun for me.

I will also advise that you take the one minute interview the second time. Use the first time for practice..

The mail said you will receive the test link the night before the day your exam is slated. I guess the mail should enter by 11:59pm.

I'm not the kind that stalk people but I'm just curious to know the kind of person you are inasmuch I tried to avoid that..

On May 31st this year around 4:28am, you claimed to be a final year student from the department of Finance,UNILAG under the Unilever Graduate Program thread.

On May 30 this year, around 9:16am, you asked people to share their interview experience under the Unilever Graduate Program Thread, claiming you are in your final year due to Corona virus and you asked people to share their interview experience so that you can prepare yourself for the future.

However on June 5 this year, around 3:47pm, you ended up attending the interview after deceiving them on the thread that you are a final year student and you only needed it the interview questions for life after school so as to prepare yourself.

Even on March 17, around 8:09pm on this PWC graduate program 2020, you asked people to spill out their test experience. You even asked them to tell you the questions because you were yet to do yours and needed "expo".

But it's so surprising that on Aug 9,around 2:50pm, you discouraged someone that dropped her interview experience for others to benefit and you even claimed it would affect your chance of getting the job coz you've done yours.

Can you please give more clarifications to everything I typed?

Guys anchoring bias is real, so you’d want to avoid it. If you’re yet to interview, please don’t let this unnecessary fixation on possible topics for section 1 make you nervous and unsettled.

It should be fairly obvious by now that anyone can be asked to discuss anything which implies that one is better-off focusing on interview discussion principles and techniques. Also, I believe that most of the topics you’re going to be asked to discuss are topics that on a normal day, you’d have tons of ideas about and can discuss for at least 5 minutes.

Here are a few tips for section 1 – that I think – that will enable you to come across as confident, strategic, and methodical.

1. Have a pen and paper with you so that you can write out the topic when it is being read out to you as well as relevant points about the topic that may immediately come to mind. Then request to read out to them what you just wrote and ask them to confirm if it’s correct. After this is when your time would start to count. The reason why (I think) this is crucial is that it enables you to buy some time to think about what to say.

2. Next, take a minute or two at the max to think about and write down relevant points. This leaves you with about 3 or 4 minutes to speak. The reason I consider this step a vital one is that it makes you come across as smart and strategic as opposed to someone that is quick to talk without thinking. Even if you’ve got a lot to say about a topic, it’s always good to take a couple of seconds to gather your thoughts.

3. Start with an introduction e.g., “here are 4 things that I think about this” or “what I think about this is three-fold” and take a minute to talk about each, if you fancy this approach.

4. Finally, just in case it happens that you’re presented with a topic that you’ve got zero ideas about, you could link that topic to a related one that you’re familiar with and discuss it. For e.g., say you were asked to discuss cybersecurity and you don’t really have any opinions about it, you could link it to cybercrime and discuss that instead. In this case, your intro would be sth like: “Unfortunately, I haven’t kept up with the developments on cybersecurity, but I do, however, think that it is tightly connected to the cybercrime that a handful of unemployed Nigerian youths are heavily involved with.” This makes you appear tactfully brilliant, I think.

Disclaimer: I no be expert o! Just sharing my thoughts with anyone that might find it helpful.

I have been applying for PWC since 2016. In the first 2years I was regretted within 3days after my application (I didnt get the opportunity to write the first exam) but still I keep on applying - I never give up.

Regarding them using age, I don't think so for I'm 29years old as at the time of applying and I been successful till this stage.

You can always apply every year but for advisory you needed at least one year work experience(as earlier pointed by someone). When they say experience, they are not talking about you telling them you work in your father poultry farm or your mother's supper market (they will immediately regret you, no matter the stage you have reach)

Take a chill pill, ask yourself what went wrong, what can you do to be successful for next year program, develop yourself and never give up.

Which mail are we talking about here. Is it a love letter mail or the one of success to the next stage?

Guys I've been thinking... When will new intakes come in? My bet is October. But then success mails would have to be sent by September.

They can round off everything by Aug and still send offer letter that same Aug and resumption for the first batch September. It's visible. Mind you, inter state ban have been call off.

I wish they provide an app for one to use his/her phone instead of a system for the interview during the interview stage.

You must enable your webcam on your system before you can take the test. That means the camara monitors you and if in any time the webcam detect two face, it will end the exam immediately and that's all for you.

i wrote my test yesterday,and we did verification of documents before going in .as soon as you get into the test room,we have laptops and your name on each laptop with a pen,paper and scientific calculator.
11 mins for the maths which was 10 questions and mind you they did not repeat any question,bar chat and table format,and also 15 mins or so for the verbal ,also comprehension .the time was running pretty fast so you have to be extremely fast.
you can also go there and write before your scheduled date if you wish to because a guy was scheduled for 24th and he was able to write yesterday.
so after the test we will still do job match and also interview .

If I knew one can write before his/her slated day, I would have prepared to write today then. Is there anything one needs to do for him/her to write earlier than the slated day.

The numerical: was the format like the previous one we did, like questions involving chart and table, etc.

The verbal: was it still reading comprehension or something entirely.
