Jesus said I am the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE, nobody can come onto the Father except by me (John 14:6).
This statement had been made centuries before Muhammad brought Islam. The statement was not to discredit islam because it had not existed then.




BUT Quran says:
"SHOW US THE STRAIGHT PATH,
THE PATH OF THOSE WHOM THOU HAST FAVOURED; Not the (path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray". (Quran 1:6-7)

This forms part of Muslims' prayers five times daily.

"SHOW US THE STRAIGHT PATH "
Since God has shown mankind a way (path) to Himself through Jesus, why would He answer anybody's prayer seeking another way? This is the reason muslims from generations to generations have been praying for the straight path and never got it. If they have got it, they would have stopped praying for it five times every day, as you don't keep asking for what you have got. This shows they know that they are not on the "straight path" yet hence they continue praying for it. The question is: when are they going to be shown the straight path as many have died praying without getting the answer? What is the fate of those who have died without discovering the straight path?

"THE PATH OF THOSE WHOM THOU HAST FAVOURED"
This again implies that muslims have an idea that some people have been flavoured because they were shown the straight path to God. It means they that have not been shown the straight path are yet to be favoured. The question again is: when are they too going to be favoured as many have died years to years without favour as they were not shown the straight path before they died.

SOME OTHER REASONS WHY GOD WILL CONTINUE TO IGNORE MUSLIMS' PRAY FOR A STRAIGHT PATH

(1) Jesus said " And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come" (Mat. 24:14).
Here, Jesus made it categorically clear that it is the Gospel that would be preached till the end will come, he didn't say Islamic messages would come that would not recognize him as the Son of God and the Saviour of the world.

Also note that Jesus didn't make the statement in competition with Muhammad or Islam as both were yet to exist in Jesus time on earth.

(2) For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 3:11). Founding of other religions that is not based on faith in Jesus is other foundation and such had been proscribed long before Muhammad brought islam. If the way is not Jesus way (path), God will not answer any prayer for another way.

The NFIU Guideline is not even complied with in Osun State at all. The Guideline is supposed to take effect from 1st of June 2019 but the State Government still paid June 2019 salaries of Local Government employees, instead of the the Local Government paying them from their allocations

Do the Christians And Muslims Worship the Same God?

The straight answer is no.

Quran 9:29] Fight against such of those who have been given the Scripture as believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, and forbid not that which Allah hath forbidden by His messenger, and follow not the Religion of Truth, until they pay the tribute readily, being brought low.

The people who have been given the Scripture before the coming of Muhammad were the Jews and Christians. The Quran says these people did not believe in Allah. But they believed in a God who was not Allah.. Who was the God they believed? Yahweh. It means Yahweh that they believed was not Muslims' Allah. Besides, if the Jews and Christians worship the same God with the Muslims, why would Allah (Quran) command that Muslims should fight them?

In the following Qur'anic verses, Allah told Muhammad to tell the Jews and Christians that what the Muslims worship is not their God.

Quran109:1] Say: O disbelievers! (The Jews and Christians who didn't believe in Allah).
Quran 109:2] I worship not that which ye worship;
Quran 109:3] Nor worship ye that which I worship.
Quran109:4] And I shall not worship that which ye worship.

Since Allah is not the God of the Jews and Christians, who we knew as the true God from the ages past, who is he?

That's because Muslims don't need constant assurance that they're serving the true "god". They're not as needy as you Christians.

If the god Muslims serve is the true God, why is Jesus taking people away from Islam?

You know what? Quran109:1-6 says the god the Muslim serve is not the living God of the Jews and the Christians:

Jesus said "And this Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in ALL the WORLD as a witness to ALL NATIONS and then the END shall come (Mat. 24:14).

This means that it is the Gospel of Jesus that God expects to be preached till the end of the world, meaning God does not have hand in Islam, which came after Jesus had left.

Is Jesus Christ reaching out to Muslims through their dreams and encouraging them to embrace his teachings? This is exactly the phenomenon that some former Islamic adherents claim they have personally experienced. After the dream, Ali pledged not to finish his pilgrimage and to follow Jesus’ voice. Thus, he inevitably became a Christian.

The question Muslims should be asking themselves is: if Islam is the way to God, why would Jesus be turning people away from it?

WHO IS A MUSLIM?

The definition of the word "Muslim" is "one who submits to the will of Allah.

The most popular religions that exist are: Judaism, Christianity and Islam. A Jew cannot be called a Christian, neither can a Christian be called a Jew or a Muslims. They are three distinct religions.

But the islamic definition of a Muslim is full of confusion and clearly unacceptable.

Qur'an says Moses was a Muslim. We all know quite well that it was Moses who led the Jews out of Egypt to Cannan. If Moses was a Muslim, invariably the Jews he led must be Muslims. But, is it true that Jews are Muslims because the Quran says Moses was a Muslim?

The Quran also says Jesus was a Muslim. If Jesus was a Muslim, it invariably means his Disciples must also be Muslims. But, is it true that the Disciples who founded Churches are Muslims? It was in Antioch the Disciples were christened Christians, meaning they were behaving like Christ.

So, it is untrue or incorrect to call Moses, Jesus and the Disciples Muslims. The truth is they were not. .There was no Islam or Muslim before the advent of Muhammad.

By Islamic definition of a Muslim, even the Muslims themselves cannot understand it. Why would Allah give such a broad definition to define a Muslim to create confusion?

Since such errors are commonly found in the Quran, how reliable is the Book?

I was a Muslim . I now know for sure the truth in Jesus . It was not by reading but by payers. These people need prayers. Islam is a very very stronghold . Coming out of it is the grace of God.

No prophet made mentioned of the coming of other Prophets.
Right from the time of Moses , all the Prophets kept talking about the coming of the Messiah.
All the prophets after Moses were only given for the guidance of the Israelites pending the coming of the Messiah.

ALL THAT THE WORLD NEEDS IN TERMS OF HOLY BOOK , LAWS ,INSTRUCTIONS ,MODES OF WORSHIPING ETC WOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN TO MOSES ONCE AND FOR ALL.

Date given for Abraham's call is circa 2160BC with Isaac born a 100 years later in 2060BC. While Solomon becomes king about 971BC.

And dates from genealogy of Jesus in the two gospels that list them hardly add up since both contain omissions.

Just thought I'd mention while I await more credible submissions pertaining to the question posed in the thread. Though, why Jesus should have mentioned Mohammed, eludes me. Isn't that like asking why an earlier prophet, i.e. Jeremiah, didn't mention a latter one i.e. Micah? One would hardly use that fact to discredit Micah, or would one, op?

The fact that Jesus said "And this Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in ALL THE WORLD for a witness to ALL NATIONS (Arab nation inclusive) and then the end shall come (Mat.24:14) shows it is not the God Jesus represented who sent Islam. Islam is not Gospel that Jesus was expecting to be preached till the END.

Even if Jesus didn't mention Muhammad's name, would he not have talked about Kaaba, which Muslims claim was built by Abraham? Before and during Jesus time it was not heard in Israel that Kaaba in Mecca was built by Abraham. Let's be truthful to ourselves, Abraham could not have built Kaaba without the Israelites knowing about it and going there for worship. But did they?

Was Isaac in Mecca? Was Jacob there? What was said about Serah in Islamic worship. Why was Jesus and other prophets not in Mecca for worship?

The Bible says Ishmael came to Israel to join in burying Abraham when he died. This shows Abraham was resident in Israel. If Abraham was in Israel and the people with him didn't know he built Kaaba in Mecca and go there to worship, it measn a lie was told about him building Kaaba.

Jesus was sent to the whole world. There was the time for salvation of the Jews and there was time for salvation of the Gentiles. So, when it was not yet time for the Gentiles, Jesus said " I'm sent for lost sheep of Israel"

When it was time for the Gentiles, the same Jesus said:

(19) Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

(20) Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Therefore, it seems from these four verses that
the apostles of Jesus were NOW FREE TO VISIT
THE GENTILES AND PREACH THE GOSPEL TO
ALL THE NATIONS OF THE WORLD.
But was it REALLY TRUE that the original
apostles of Jesus were NOW FREE TO VISIT THE
GENTILES AND PREACH THE GOSPELS TO ALL
THE NATIONS OF THE WORLD ?
If this is true, then why did Peter utter the
statement below MANY YEARS AFTER Jesus'
departure from this world?
"YOU ARE WELL AWARE THAT IT IS AGAINST
OUR LAW FOR A JEW TO ASSOCIATE WITH OR
VISIT A GENTILE. BUT GOD HAS SHOWN ME
THAT I SHOULD NOT CALL ANYONE IMPURE OR
UNCLEAN. So when I was sent for, I came without
raising any objection. May I ask why you sent for
me? (Acts 10:28-29 NIV). Was Peter NOT aware
that they were now FREE to visit the gentiles and
preach the gospel to all the nations of the world?
Some of the Christians want to argue that the
reason why Peter said: "YOU ARE WELL AWARE
THAT IT IS AGAINST OUR LAW FOR A JEW TO
ASSOCIATE WITH OR VISIT A GENTILE" is
because he has forgotten the Jesus'new
command of preaching to all the nations of the
world. But if this is true, then why did remaining
Jewish believers in Christ criticize Peter on the
SAME ISSUE OF VISITING AND ASSOCIATING
WITH GENTILES on his return to Jerusalem as
the following passage revealed ?
Acts 11 New Living Translation (NLT) "Soon the
news reached the apostles and other believers in
Judea that the Gentiles had received the word of
God. But when Peter arrived back in Jerusalem,
THE JEWISH BELIEVERS CRITICIZED HIM. “YOU
ENTERED THE HOME OF THE GENTILES AND
EVEN ATE WITH THEM!” (Acts 11:1-3 NLT). Have
they also forgotten the Jesus'new command of
preaching all the nations of the world? If the
other Jewish believers in Christ do not critize
Peter on his arrival to Jerusalem ON THE SAME
ISSUE OF VISITING AND ASSOCIATING WITH
GENTILES as shown above, then we may think
that it was Peter that was saying nonsense when
he said "YOU ARE WELL AWARE THAT IT IS
AGAINST OUR LAW FOR A JEW TO ASSOCIATE
WITH OR VISIT A GENTILE. (Acts 10:28).The
second part of the Peter's statement "BUT GOD
HAS SHOWN ME THAT I SHOULD NOT CALL

to the "VISION" he experienced just before the
arrival of the men sent by Cornelius (See Acts
10:1-28) . The statement has NOTHING to do
with the so-called Jesus' new command of
preaching to all the nations of the world . Again
see the reaction of these Jewish believers in
Christ when Peter finished the narration of his
Vision; "When they heard this, they had NO
FURTHER OBJECTIONS and praised God, saying,
"SO THEN, EVEN THE GENTILES, God has granted
repentance that leads to life.(Acts 11:18 NIV).
Please see the astonishment of these Jewish
believers; "SO THEN, EVEN THE GENTILES" . If
they have already aware about the Jesus'new
command of Preaching to all the Gentile nations
in Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:15, Luke 24:47, and
Acts 1:8, then WHY ALL THIS ASTONISHMENT?
Again some Christians want to argue that the
reason why Peter said:"YOU ARE WELL AWARE
THAT IT IS AGAINST OUR LAW FOR A JEW TO
ASSOCIATE WITH OR VISIT A GENTILE(Acts
10:28)" is because Peter and other apostles find it
difficult to discard the Jewish custom of not
associating and visiting the Gentiles. However,The
fact that Peter responded positively to that
VISION and go quickly with those gentiles is an
evidence that he never find it difficult to discard
this Jewish custom. Again, it is not possible for
the all the apostles and disciples of Jesus to give
PREFERENCE for mere Jewish custom OVER a
great and important command from their Master.
What actually preventing them was the command
of "NOT PREACHING TO THE GENTILES" in
Matthew 10:5-6 and the fact that Jesus told
them CATEGORICALLY that he was sent ONLY to
the lost sheep of the house of Israel( Matthew
15:24).Do you think Peter would follow those
gentiles to meet Cornelius if not because of the
VISION he experienced before their arrival.
From this, we can be deduced that even if there is
a record that Peter and other apostles preach to
another Gentile apart from Cornelius and his
households, then what "PERMIT" them to do this
was the VISION that Peter experienced. It is
DEFINITELY NOT the new command of preaching
to all the nations attributed FALSELY to Jesus in
Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:15, Luke 24:47 and Acts
1:8. Otherwise, the story of events between Peter
and Cornelius (Acts 10) and also between Peter
and other Jewish believers(Acts 11) are NOT
TRUE.
Infact, the truth of this forgery can also be
realized from Jesus own statement; if it was
already in the divine plan that JESUS AND HIS
APOSTLES WOULD PREACH TO THE JEWS FIRST
AND THEN THE GENTILES, then Jesus' statement
directed to that Canaanite woman in Matthew
15:24 should have been: IT IS NOT YET TIME
FOR THE GENTILES or something similar in
meaning rather than “I WAS SENT ONLY TO THE
LOST SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL”. This is
the FIRST PROBLEM WITH CHRISTIANITY.

---The government turned around claiming the killings are sponsored by opposition parties. They insist that they are political killings.

---A certain pastor decided to curse all those behind the killings.

---The opposition accused by the government are screaming "amen" to his prayers but the same government is calling for the arrest and prosecution of the pastor who is cursing "the opposition behind the killings".

---The government is going from one place to another appealing that Nigerians give up their ancestral lands to the "Libyans" and the killers sponsored by "the opposition" if they want to stay alive.

---In the twist, the government has, shamelessly, given us 3 different narratives:

a. The killers are from Libya who took over specific places in Africa to avenge the death of Gaddafi;

b. The herdsmen are killing because they need grazing areas for their herds;

c. The opposition, especially PDP are sponsoring hoodlums to carry out the killings for political reasons.

In its effort to confuse us and the world, the government has ended up confusing itself.

Now tell me why even a coconut head cannot process what's happening in Nigeria.

Why would you say Jesus religion is Islam? Did you read the Bible and understand Jesus statements? You call Jesus a muslim who say if someone slaps you on the right cheek turn to him the left also and the quran says you can relaliate if you want?

Why are you calling Jesus a muslim who said "I will build my Church and the gate of hell will not prevail against it? Does a muslim build Churches?

Why are you calling Jesus a muslim who addressed the first seven Churches after he had gone? Does a Muslim addresses Churches.

Both prophet Muhammad and Eesa are prophets of Allah. Eesa is sent to a nation like every other prophet but prophet Muhammad was sent to the whole world.

Concerning Quran, there are some wrong translations of Quran..done by kufar and onibidia

The best translation for Quran is tafsir ibn khatir.. It's explained with hadith.. Hadith and Quran goes hand in hand

Jesus was sent to the whole world, and in fact, he doesn't recognize any prophet that preached not the Gospel.

Jesus said: And this Gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in ALL THE WORLD as a witness to ALL NATIONS and then the END shall come (Mat. 24:14).
Jesus expected only the GOSPEL to be preached till the end of the world, so he doesn't recognize Islam.

I want to disagree with you. ACADIP tries to draw the ignorant Christians to Islam. Just recently, they came to NASFAT in my area to do their job of Christian criticism. Are NASFAT not part of islam?

Yes, I got interested in islam since I was very young. Reason being that there was an Alfa who used to go around with the Bible, trying to criticize it. There arose my interest in the religion, but going through it I discovered Jesus is the only true way to God.

I have some question and I need clarifications.

1. In the Quran, Jesus (Issa) is à prophet and also the Messiah, how can it be explained. If he is the Messiah then he has something special that Muhammed does not have so why the emphasy on Muhammed who is dead and not the Messiah who is to come.

2. As it is acclaimed there is one Quran which has not changed since the time of Muhammed and it was written in Arabic. Well those that convert to Islam and are not speakers of Arabic, how do they know what they are thought is the right translation. The reason for this question is because when you point out something that doesn't look right in thé English Quran, they say thats not the real meaning in Arabic. How do you know the real meaning when its not your language and you were only thought recitations?

This is not to question the religion but to gain more knowledge

I'm not a muslim but versed in the Quran. I read the English translations from different translators. What I discovered is that though the Arabic text might be the same, but the translators give different meanings to same Arabic text. Therefore, no muslimsl can authoritatively claim he knows the true meaning of quranic verses.

Muslims talk about many versions of the Bible but close their eyes to the so many different meaings they give the same quranic verses.

I'm am yet to come across any version of the Bible that is contradictory to others, they are all saying the same thing in different construction.

By His grace, I studied islam and I know so much about the region. I wonder how anyone would read Quran and Hadiths and still believe islam is a religion of peace. You know what, you don't shout peace if you are peaceful.

ACADIP CRITICISMS OF CHRISTIANITY

I have watched some videos that emanated from a group called ACADIP. The man doesn't preach any islamic message but sole CRITICISMS of the Bible and Christianity. He displays a lot of ignorance about the Bible, thinking he is doing a great islamic job. Unfortunately, the people behind him are so deceived and gullible. May God have mercy.

In fact, I have been trying to reach him and teach him real Islam and real Christianity. I was told it is not advisable to go reply him in his open program because of the danger it portends. We all know what these people are up to.

But wait a minute, if a Christian or a Christian group engages in that type of antagonism against islam publicly, what do you think will happen?

Would God Continue To Punish Christians ?


There is no doubting the fact that Christians are harmless people, those who follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. We have on record how greatly God used, especially the early Christians, to do positive wonders to humanity. Why would God hate them and cause hatred between them and Muslims?

The Qur'an specifically draws an open battle between the Muslims and the Christians, when it says: " O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people (Qur'an 5:51).

Even though the Jews and Christian have a slight difference in the way they worship God, yet the Qur'an says they are friends of each other. That is how it should be because they worship the same God but a different way. In the same vein, the Christians and Muslims have a different way of worship and that shouldn't create an enmity if the God they worship is the Spirit. Isn't that true? The totality of it is that Allah is not the God of the Christians, otherwise, he would not hate the Jews and the Christians.

Again, the Qur'an further states " Fight against such of those who have been given the Scripture as believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, and forbid not that which Allah hath forbidden by His messenger, and follow not the Religion of Truth, until they pay the tribute readily, being brought low" (Qur'an 9:29).

If Allah is the God of the Christians, why would he continue to punish and kill them? Why would he tell Muhammad to fight and bring them low? There is an annual festival in Osogbo, Osun State. It is a festival for Osun worshipers but other idol worshipers do join them to celebrate. Sango, Oya, Egunfun worshipers go there to celebrate. Even though their ways of worship differ, but because they are worshiping the same god (i.e the same Deity), there is cooperation among them. Why is there no cooperation between Muslims and Christians if they worship the same God?

Were they worshiping the same God, why would Allah ask Muhammad and his jihadists to fight the people who received the Scripture earlier? Why would God tell any prophet to raise war against his own people?

If fact, Allah told Muhammad to tell the people that what he worshiped was different from what the Jews and Christian worship as in:

 Say : O ye that reject Faith!
I worship not that which ye worship,
Nor will ye worship that which I worship.
And I will not worship that which ye have been wont to worship,
Nor will ye worship that which I worship.
To you be your Way, and to me mine (Qur'an 109:1-6 Yusuf Ali).

Who are those who reject Faith (Islamic faith?) Definitely, it is the Jews and the Christians. And to them Allah told Muhammad to say that what Muslims worship is not the same as the God of the Jews and Christians.

We all know that the Jews and Christians had been worshiping the true God long time before the advent of Muhammad and his Islam, then who is the God of Islam that said he is not the same as the God of the Jews and Christians and hates them very much?

Adefarasin criticized the Nigerian government for not doing anything to protect the people in the Middle Belt, who are under the constant attack from armed Fulani herdsmen.

Heaven will rejoice if our muslim friends would reason and come to Jesus. Reject being deceived. How long will you continue to pray for the Way that is already in front of you? As if that is not enough, the Quran says all Muslims are destined for hellfire immediately at death but Jesus says "I have come to give eternal life, not helffire

Quran 3:185] Every soul will taste of death. And ye will be paid on the Day of Resurrection only that which ye have fairly earned. Whoso is removed from the Fire and is made to enter paradise, he indeed is triumphant. The life of this world is but comfort of illusion.

The truth is: Nobody who enters hellfire will be removed. If a person is qualified for hell, what will he do in hell to qualify for heaven? And besides, Muhammad in his one night in heaven said he saw some of the Bible prophets in heaven. The question therefore is why are they in heaven and not in hell waiting for the Day of Resurrection to be removed to heaven as the Quran asserts?

Jesus said "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.(John 10:10). Jesus promise for his followers is heaven and they will not have to stop-over in hell.
