My app was refused today.
Reason was that I do not have a family tie in canada and in my home and secondly my purpose of visit .
other reasons: You failed to satisfy me that the project of studies in Canada is not principally for the purpose of gaining entry to Canada

Documents submitted :

Completed application form
Sop
Cac documents
Tax clearance certificate
Tax receipts
Tuition deposit
Bank acc both personal and corporate acc
Dad's bank acc
Dads landed property and affidavit of co sponsorship
My affidavit of sponsorship
I applied as a self sponsor
Pls house can u pls tell me how to tackle this issue cos i intend reapplying next week.
The start date of my course is 25th of August . Can I meet up?
Pls advise.

....Sorry about the refusal....looking at the other reason for denial(You failed to satisfy me that the project of studies in Canada is not principally for the purpose of gaining entry to Canada)....dis might be the cause....

- Are you going for a lesser degree and above 30 ?
- Do you have more than enough work experience than intended course of study?
- course of study mismatch with background course(e.g having a background of Computer science and going to study Nursing)
- Low Finance( yes finance!!!....now that its very flexible for student to work immediately they land Canada, you can choose to abandon school and start working since you have enough work experience)
- Improper explanation of your intentions(work on your LOE)

These are just my opinion......Gurus in da house will help you further....

.....In that case its all about luck....Although the VO wouldn't request the current statement of Account balance from the bank but you might be instructed to go print a current SOA(this is not a common scenario) which of course will reflect whether a reasonable amount has been withdrawn or not.....there has been alot of argument on this forum regarding the issue of VO confirming SOA or not.....so Rukkky you might be Lukkky to scale through .....God aint sleeping......

.......2million isn't bad for your tour.....Travel history isn't bad as well......all you need do is book an hotel for ur stay and make sure you write in your Letter of explanation places in Canada you would like to tour......just go through www.cic.gc.ca to know more......you dont need invitation if its for tourist.......

.....The only way is you go throuh the tourist route......its also a class of visit but bare in mind that your Travel history got to be a good one.......

Seunalasho: i submitted online,i scanned all the docs and upload with the help of xtus he was with me b4 he traveled, paid with my master card and received confirmation and biometrics instruction immediately when i received this mail i check my cic account that i used in submitting nothing has changed

......When you checked your cic, did you get something like "Your Biometrics has been received".....try check.....

Thanks.[/quote].....Good to know your brother wana proceed to Canada....but that route your bro wana plough is a Closed Tunnel were you get no light .....you can secure an apartment by booking an hotel for at least 3days....you can then look up Kijiji for apartment viewing.....reason is that you cant directly get an accommodation from Nigeria cuz the House/apartment owner would wana relate more with you if you're on ground except you have someone already on ground to do that for you......Its very possible to extend your Visit visa....as long as you have a good reason for extension......Your brother cant get a permanent stay in Canada cuz visiting visa doesn't give you such Flexibility......He can't also work with a visit visa.....if dem catch am ehn....na deportation straight up ......so my brother Visit Visa get im own palava......thats why you see peeps here go through the Study route.....Student visa can grant you permanent stay in Canada.........
