That Lagos instruction form has been on the website since April, it's just been updated. When I was applying in May, I saw it and downloaded it, showed my sponsor to convince him to release all the documents I was asking for.
I didn't fill and submit tho, as it was not required for Online route. I don't think it makes any difference, it's probably just country-specific instruction.

You clearly haven't seen the form, you only read my post.
The form says "lagos visa office instructions"
With the kind of questions asked in the form...its clearly not going to accra..

I feel Lagos is ready...
...I clearly have seen the forms bro and its still norm....You can check other countries, they have forms updated too...they have been doing this right from time...It doesn't justify the fact that visa will be processed in Lagos...Applications from Nigeria are still forwarded to Ghana(That's if its not a make believe)....They will clearly post a notification on their website about visa being processed in Lagos...You can mail Lagos office about ur visa application...I bet you'll get a response saying visa applications for applicants living in Nigeria are being processed in visa office, Accra....Wait for the notification before concluding bro......

This further buttresses the fact that CIC wants to start processing study visa from lagos...
Heeres a screen capture of an additional pdf file added specifically for Nigerian applicants...its called lagos visa office processing guidelines....
For new applicants....kindly fill this new form and add it to your application.
...Doesn't matter...they update those forms on a regular basis, if no official statement reads "application from Nigeria will be now be processed in Lagos" then all application is still processed in Ghana...They can't afford Nairaland applicants banging their gate for visa again....They already learn't their lessons back in 2013 grin....May be they have been processing applications in Lagos all along but are keeping it on a down low making us believe its been processed in Ghana just to avoid crowd at the gate....they fear Naija applicants grin.....

But before I accept the offer, I'll ask her: I hope you have your complete tuition fees and feeding allowances for the duration of your studies (with proof) and my own check will be more strict than the VO cos the consequence will be directly on top my head and pocket. wink
...Hahaha!!!...You go fear Visa Officer Onyeoma...You better make ur pocket accessible else another winter go catch up with you without a software grin....

Thanks Chrigo. This is what people need. A detailed, no holds barred discussion on the issue. Let people be told the possibilities, the risks involved, and the ways around them. I remember a while back when someone (i think Siga but not sure) was advising guys to learn how to barb hair. Another person was telling of how people go up north to plant trees during long breaks. I am sure there are other skill stets apart from barbing and hair making that peeps can put to use when they get there. Those who know should tell. There must be ways people can make money beyond the 20hrs a week rule and thereby cater for themselves. Those who have experience on other legal ways that the less priviledged have used to earn extra bucks should share so that others can plan ahead. It is good to warn people about challenges but it is better to suggest possible ways around such challenges.
....Learning how to barb is good as well but it will also take time to build the relationship with peeps around before any man would feel comfortable submitting their head for barbing grin...Peeps prefer getting their hair done professionally at a saloon and wouldn't mind paying $20 to get that done....The only peeps I envy are the Ladies....They make Bastard $$$$$$$ here when it comes to styling female's hair...you make tones of cash styling just one hair with no stress and this can be done at your convenient time(No interference with school activities)....So if you are a Lady or a Guy with practical knowledge of styling female's hair then there is HUGE!!!! i mean HUGE!!!!! hope for you in terms of tuition payment....Na just small money dey barbing biko and most guys here be akagum when it comes to paying for the barbing service you render them....Na come today, come tomorrow man go dey hear grin (if they are close friends)...In all, the best time to hustle hard is during scheduled break and having at least two semester tuition fee handy is the best...Naija peeps no dey joke when it comes to hustling...Kai!!!!!grin....

Lmao.. I'm tired of telling the harsh truth.. I won't even talk about it anymore, they don insult me tire... You done did it.
...No mind dem Ojare grin...If anyone wants to venture such route i.e without paying kobo, the school will definitely report to immigration(This na confirmed truth)...So if anyone comes to Canada without plans to pay a tuition fee(at least 1st semester) to resume school, then na serious battle with the school and immigration....You have done your part by giving a sincere advice...Its left to anyone reading to ponder and map out a plan....

I was just reading through and i saw....people arguing about the possibility of paying your fees and surviving without bringing enough money from Nigeria. Dearest brethren 90percent of Nigerians and Africans I have meet here are paying their fees themselves with no support from anywhere. I was so confused at first because the mentality I had from here was paying your fees or surviving without input from home(Tuition wise) all by yourself is next to impossible, well my experience here totally flawed all that. There is a way around it; as a matter of fact you wont have to get yourself involved in any form of illegality provided you can work hard....well you wont even need to be told by the time you see all your room mates taking up 2 to 3 jobs closing from one job to resume for another, and having so much in their account to maintain and comfortably pay their tuition, you self go blend quick quick. And as regards the 20 hours per week for international student.....(there is a way around this too) I dont want to share how when you enter you go understand. Its nothing illegal, all i can say about that is where there is a will there is a way.... I am not encouraging anyone to go against the law because rules are rules and they are meant to be obeyed and i will never go against any myself but the funniest thing is even if you go against the minimum hours rules here and you have reasonable explanations, you wont be bounced "reasonable explanations" I have meet uncountable numbers of international students majorly Africans that came to Canada with just few months house rent and they are doing very fine. You may be thinking it could affect their them from concentrating.....you see life is so flexible here.....very very flexible. To cut the long story short, it is very very very very possible infact over possible.
....My bros...sorry to say, I don't agree with the bolded statements...I want you to spit the way around it just like you said and lets see if there isn't any form of illegality involved....If you're advising peeps to come without having to pay tuition and don't wana share "how" then something is definitely shady about it.....Canada is not Nigeria where you break laws anyhow and think the government will listen to "reasonable explanation"...Muritala Airport is not far bro grin....Its best to tell peeps the harsh reality...Its very possible to pay Tuition fee in Canada but definitely not the way you stated(Can't even see none)....Since students are only allowed to work 20hr/week, how much will you save after deducting bills wey fit make man go crazy...you realize you're left with nothing.....the way around this is to work cash Job which doesn't require SIN...with cash direct job, you can definitely work more hours cuz there is no way government would know since SIN isn't involve....with this, money can be saved but again working more hours would deter you from concentrating with studies which in-turn affects school grades plus its ILLEGAL!!(A friend almost got caught doing this)....The only legal way to do this is to work Full-time during scheduled break(You can work your a$$ off and make up to $10000 within 4 months break)....This is what my classmates did....Majority all zoomed to Toronto to work their a$$ off so as to make enough money for tuition fee and other expenses....Its best to have at least two semesters tuition fee sorted out from Naija...after that, you can pay subsequent tuition fees yourself...THIS IS THE REALITY.....Canada is not heaven where everything is sure banker like baba ijebu....Jengbetiele, if you no want make people swear for you when dem land Canada to clearly see things themselves...You better tell them the Harsh truth biko grin......

just finished my masters(in biochemistry) here in Nigeria but wish to run my PhD( in Biotechnology/Genetics/Bioinformatics/Molecular Toxicology or any other related option) in Canada, please I need some information as regards to my wish. Getting a scholarship seems difficult by the requirements I have seen so far (some require a distinction 70% and above (which is hardly obtainable here in Nigeria )from ur masters programme but I made a PhD grade,60-69%) and self sponsorship seems very expensive at the same time( but trying to give it a shot). Please, can I get a meaningful job while doing my PhD( it will run for four years) considering the fact that the bills are very much on the high side. I can work myself through thick and thin here in Naija by God's to raise the first year fees, however I am afraid on how I might possible survive subsequent years. without a strong financial backing, do I stand a chance of getting a student visa? Even if I get it, Is it legal to work with student visa? what other possible options can make me realize my dreams? please I need suggestions and advice..God bless
....If you're coming for a Phd program, most schools in Canada grants funding to Phd students for the duration of 4yrs only on a condition of the student meeting acceptable level of performance during course of study....Once you get the admission, the funding kicks in....You can only work part time as a student for 20hrs/week...you can use that to knock off some bills like buy me beer grin...I believe the funding package comes with accommodation as well so you're only left with Minor bills to pay.....You should think of surviving after 4yrs if your funding expires....Although Permanent Resident go don show before then cuz as a Phd student, you can apply for PR without Job offer which then makes you pay less fees for subsequent yrs.....Check with the school you're applying to....

I intend getting a letter of introducton from the company referencing my denial based on employment situation by saying they acknowledge that I'm an employer ssince so so so date.

About the payslips, I don't intend adding any as the letter of introduction would state that I am on a no pay scheme as im only a graduate trainee gettng valuable experience before I further my studies.
