Kingfish542 you're one slick guy aint you? Earlier today you tried to water down cultism by comparing it to yahoo(fraud), absurdity. I see you're back again.

Claiming 90% of cultists knew the risk before they joined & your assertion that this thread makes no difference is a big lie & you know it. A lot of people are reading it (abt 1M views) and they're wiser now. Even much more people out there are talking about this thread, about the darkness & evil that is cultism.

They now know that in the process of initiation they can be beaten to death. They know if they're killed by rivals, it will be settled over drinks in the name of peace talks & life goes on. They know abt BKB.
They know all about the OT, so its no longer 'fancy'. They know its bondage to be a cultist, the JU is the free man. They know that most cultists are rapists & thieves. They know cultists dont feel safe, they're scared.

They dont want cultism, it has ruined lives. They want to be free & happy. They're wiser now.

Absolutely no hidden agenda. We have the same objective that this thread should help people. It does no harm to have different opinions and express it for the common good. That is how good missions forge ahead.

I am just concerned that this good work here doesn't degenerate into something else.

#cultism only spoils people's lives.
#stay away from cultism.
Glad you're for the thread. As for your fears, this thread is unlikely to degenerate into anything outside; but with these guys you cant be too sure. So even if it does, then so be it.

Cultists are known to fight & kill each other over the most flimsy of excuses. If they could, they'll kill or maim some of us as a lesson to others for posting #SayNoToCultism on nairaland. A lot of them are dark & devilish like that.

May God touch their hearts & save them like the OP.

At the risk of sounding like the prefect of the forum, I would like to implore us to refrain from posting anything thats not concerned with the subject of the thread or further its objectives. A lot of the chit chats & petty talks can happen in the PM. Lets make it easy on the new readers. I met the thread at 130, it was quite cumbersome to read, talk more of 200+

I apologise if you find this post offensive in any way.

After a good thing has achieved it's purpose, it first becomes trash, and it gradually turns to a menace.

I am an ardent follower of this tread. I have invite and linked people to it. And I am sure it is savings lives. It has done enough to achieve the purpose. Whoever will not be convinced about the evils of cultism after reading what gas be posted here already probably needs something else. May God help that person.

However, I think for it's purpose not to be detailed, it's high time the thread is closed or hidden. That's the reality I am seeing. So that it doesn't cause unwanted problems.

Who is with me on this?
You have shared & linked this thread to people & you think it has saved lives yet you are of the opinion that it is now worthless & should be discarded. Ah, bro, unless you have a hidden agenda, there's an issue with the thought process that came to that conclusion. I'm even more worried about the 8 or so people that liked your post.

JJTeam its been a rollercoaster with you on this thread. You're the first person I'm tagging on nairaland, I hope it counts for something.

You claim to have joined to be a part of something bigger. A sect that puts your life in danger is not bigger than you, it diminishes you. Even you stated there is a stigma with being a cultist. Is there one with being a Red cross or rotary member? Those are way bigger than SEC & NBM.

You claim to crave change but also admit you cannot control the rebellious - who are responsible for the criminal & evil acts by your group. So you see, even by your own account, your change is a futility.

Some cultists are not violent but that doesnt absolve them of any responsibility; or else why do they leave town when there is a war or take cover during police raid?

Every cultist - even the calm ones - are seen as evil because only an evil person chooses to be yoked with criminals & is happy with it.

JJTeam there is only darkness at the end of this tunnel, please go back!

Obiwanne made his money through scam in the first place..Forbes put him on the radar of the FBI..
Of course he was a scammer along but he was able to appear clean & even got a forbes award for it.

Forbes recognition was a couple of years back. The deal that did him in was after that, I read the charge sheet, its on the web. My point is if he had stayed away from fraud after the forbes thing, he would have ran away with his crimes.
Crime › Like Diezani, Like Hushpuppi - The African Greed by Chris525(op): 1:47pm On Jun 10, 2020
The African greed will forever be an enigma to me. You'd think its the hardship & poverty but even the wealthy are players in the game. This greed features all over Africa & even black countries outside Africa. Its got to be something in our DNA. We just dont know when to stop.

Diezani could have stolen 'just' N10B -that'll be easy to conceal in the books. 8% on a fix deposit is N800M every year for life! what did she do? £12M UK house, Greed!
Hushpuppi exaggerates his wealth but with his lifestyle, he could have amassed N300M & left the game but what did he do? $35M scam, Greed! A certain Otunba Cash was wealthy. He could have done same but no. I dont know what became of his €1+M scam case in Turkey.
Obiwanne comes to mind. At over N1B worth, he was clean & a toast of Forbes. What did he do? £11M scam, Greed!

The African greed is Africa's biggest curse.

NB: I dont support crime but I'm a realist. Without a proper system to check corruption in govt. & no jobs for the youths what do you expect?

All the criminal vices bedevilling southern Nigerian are rooted in cultism - robbery, rape, kidnapping, political thuggery etc. There's hardly a criminal these days who isnt a cultist. Everyday the news is awash with criminals in police custody identifying with a cult group. Whether the cults were infiltrated by criminals or vis versa, the truth is THE GAME IS UP. The intentions of the founding fathers might have been noble but all that is now defeated. The problem is not the organisation - SEC, NBM etc. Its the people therein. All you strongmen have my respect, dont take my words personal. Some were coerced to join but alot did on freewill for their selfish interests which has 0 alignment to the code, vision & goals of the Sect. Those who joined with good intentions will agree they are disappointed by the outcome. All you oldies manoveur the murky waters but think about the young whose future have been ruined & are being ruined even as we speak; who have died & continue to die. IT HAS TO END! #saynotocultism

I've been on this thread for a while as a guest & today I'm compelled to put in a few words. First, I greet all the strongmen & jews in the house, you all have spoken well. Alot of cultists are not killers or violent. Many are fine, intellectual, responsible, peaceful & loving men, this I acknowledge. However, the truth is most of these fine gentlemen are hardly involved at the leadership level. Those running these cults are mostly frustrated, irrational, unstable lost causes, chronic addicts & criminals. No amount of charity by cults can make up for the lives wasted & danger they now pose to the public. Its a brotherhood, ideally, alot have made great friendship & shared priceless moments; hence feel strongly about their group but if one can be sane enough to get past the butterflies & emotions & do a sit down, it makes no sense anymore. Its now more of deaths, violence, destruction, chaos. We cant continue like this. Its gone too far for too long & can not be fixed. Cultism has got to end. #saynotocultism
