Well good thing is the cobra and tucanos were not needed to curtail boyscout ESN & UGM. Not the first time we would be blocked from buying arms so dont make it about MNK. He could never have been the reason, he’s too small.

Case is already a court. If you would relax and let the law take its course.

CSTRR:

And that is why your military will not be getting those sweet cobra helicopters and may even get the remaining tucanos delivery blocked.

Human right violations.

He is a murderer?. Prove it in Court and allow him to effectively defend himself.

Murderers have no rights.

CSTRR:

Deserved right?

When you fall into the hands of the Police, let us see if they will respect your own rights.

@Oladi2

Someone who isn’t as smart as you will google the answers to these, score 25/25, get your slot and you’ll wake up everyday jobless crying and complaining about Nigeria being too corrupt but you forget that Nigeria is not a person, it is you and me.

Isn’t this corruption? What you just did? In a sane country, you might be in jail right now and honestly thats where you truly belong. You’re a shame to your family and the institution that granted you placement for tertiary education. You passed your exams but didn’t really develop as a complete adult. After all the investment on you by the state and your family, you decide not to better society but to ruin it. I’m ashamed for you.

I doubt the NPF would give him up but time shall tell.

DoggoneDogg:
1. Extradition.
2. Sting operation to abduct the fraudster to the US.
3. INTERPOL arrest.
4. Invasion of Nigeria with aircraft carrier, fighter & bomber jets, destroyers, guided missiles etc

Many sweet options... grin

Must they see him everyday??

At this rate, they better move in with him.

Addendum: My mentions are crowded. Over here we run on logic not emotions. A lawyer who knows his onus doesn’t conduct himself in this manner. Falana just secured El Zakzaky’s release, did you hear any noise? Do you know how many times El Zakzaky was ordered to be released? Falana didn’t incite his followers; or turn to the media everytime, he kept working and eventually it paid off.

If it was these IPOB baby lawyers we wont hear word. Once a case is in court it becomes a battle between prosecution and defense both parties coming at each other with whatever they can come up with. Its normal.

You don’t expect the other party to roll over and treat you like a lover. They have said go and wait for approval; then you go and keep working on your case. There’s a lot to cover and a lot of consultations to be made and connections to be tapped & bridges to be built. Their job is to get him out of jail not visit him there everyday.

One thing is they’re giving gullible IPOB the impression that they can get MNK off the hook soon. A case that would most likely take years, if they don't slow down they’ll tire out before the real battle begins.

Ejiofor and the other guy are enjoying the fame now. Its only a matter of time before the truth kicks in and IPOB online soldiers get fed up with them then they’ll feel the heat.

Crime / Abba Kyari, What Happens Now? by Chris525: 5:52pm On Jul 29, 2021
I just read the case file. You cant but love the FBI and how they conduct their investigations. Whoever advised Hush to take the plea deal did him a lot of good. None of the conspirators are getting out of this. The investigation is too thorough.

From the investigations, it would appear that until about period of his arrest, Hush wasn’t as wealthy as he made us believe if he had to continuously pawn his watch for money. Unless maybe he was trying to clean the money which wouldn’t make much sense considering that the payment for the watch has a trace that leads back to him. But then he had bought the Cullinan and had the project in Cote D’Ivoire going. Its hard to say really, he’s one intriguing character I must say. An enigma.

As for Abba, he didn’t use discretion one bit. All that power and rope he was given by the NPF and he choose to use it to settle issues between fraudsters. Such a shame. Thats why you must never be friends or roll with criminals if you’re in law enforcement. Hush paid for VIP concierge to bring a watch in, imagine what he would do to impress Abba when he visited Dubai. Abba should have listened to Kelly personally, tried to resolve the issue between them and sent the young man home instead of locking him for a month. Imagine if he had died.
Abba messed up big time and his sparkling legacy is now tainted. I feel sorry for him but he was fully aware of what he was doing so he should be ready for whatever comes to him.

He was a very bold guy that why they took his heart. They’re going to make charm with it to make them bold and fearless. The hands & head too. Truth is the death may have been utterly gruesome but his killers held him in high esteem.

There are state legislators in Rivers, Benue, Lagos, and Edo drawing huge salaries from these governments but will never profer solutions. We need strong laws;

1. membership of any cult group should attract no less than 5 years
2. Any proven cult member should be stripped off all their post secondary school qualifications
3. Should be blacklisted from benefiting from any govt recruitment, initiative or intervention
4. Should be black listed from obtaining the Nigerian passport
5. Should not be allowed to operate a bank account or banking related services
6. Must not be allowed to vote else they vote themselves and push their members into power

You can add more ideas below; hopefully someone tangible is reading.

If you aid and abet a crime you’ll go to jail; you don’t have to have committed the crime and Nigerians are always guilty of that.

Thats how ridiculous you sound.

oyatz:

Both the words Iyan and Bini are Yoruba names.

The african menu of pounded Yam is eaten in many African tribes from Togo to Nigeria and beyond.

Even in Nigeria, Igala, Nupe, Yoruba, Ebira, Igbo, Bini, Urhobo, Ijaw all eat pounded Yam, so how is it a Bini diet?

People like you are whom I employ. They’re well driven and willing to learn and do the job as it should be. I pride myself to pay one of the best salaries in my line of business. My business name is not global yet but my staff are a part of my success all the way.

It brings tears to my eyes that Nigeria is set up to ruin people like you. I don’t have openings, even if I did I have people like you ready to fill up. I would ask for your contact but I hate to raise your hopes.

If there’s anyone with this understanding and experience explained above please pick this man up.

God bless us all.

As the heading states, I'm 33yrs old and I have never had any job experience before.

I studied tourism and leisure management only at the national diploma level. I finished with upper credit.

I'm not really conversant with the job market and considering applying for jobs.

I know my age might possibly be an hindrance to my chance of being able to land one.

I was hoping peeps familiar with, those who are or were in my shoes can offer advice in what ever form.

Applause.

Ikidons:
I believe all that happened because the Ibos had no central leader or King at the time. The Ibos of the old were lead by family heads. Each family wad lead by the eldest person in the family. This, I believe, was the reason why many Ibos were sold into slavery. The Bite of Biafra was one of the most patronized slave routes.

History will humble you. Its not by gragra. Alot of people find it difficult to understand all these about the bini. To them its like, that small bini. What is in Edo state? But life as you know it today is nothing like it was 100, 200, 300 years ago. Let me share a story;

I was at the home of a notable oyo man on Tuesday to felicitate with him. As we were exchanging banters, I hailed him as a great mind from ibadan. His countenance changed. He sat me down and before everyone in his expansive sitting room, educated me.

According to him; he is an oyo man, not ibadan man. He claimed there is a huge difference. Oyo are refined and learned people. I wont go into details about what he had to say about ibadan but he maintained that no notable oyo son will take likely to being referred to as Ibadan. He cautioned me to avoid such a mistake in the future.

For a lot of us outside Oyo, you’d think ibadan was it or so much of the big deal over there. Thats history in play.

I salute you not because I agree with you completely but because I could tell you a good student of history. You’re a rare find on nairaland.

Sufferingboy:
Many Ikas you see today especially the elite are from mainly ancient royal houses Even right from the time of Ogisos.

In agbor today, after the dein then Jim Ovia family is the most powerful by tradition .Jim Ovia himself is an Ika man of bini ancestry.

Even Okowa, their family came from benin.

The founders of Idumesah are Esan people from Ugboha led by a certain man I can't remember his name now.....My mother is that lineage.

Later Ndokwa and Aniocha people settled among the esan who came first.

In Idumesah today, there is one quarter that produce the Okparu-Uku(Big Okpara) and the 3 quarters will produce their okpara to lead them.

Even there are older people in other three quarter, they can be crown okpara-uku.It is only people from my quarters that must get that position.Once you crown the okpara of that my mum quarter, authomatically you become Okpara-Uku of them entire Idumesah.

Other okparas in the other 3 quarters may be your senior by age but they must pay homage to you as their new leader.Just like in UAE were the king of abu-dhabi becomes the president of the country automatically when he become the king.

Initially Idumesah was made up of 7 quarters, but people in the three quarter letter return to were they came from, some remained and resettled among the modern 4 quarters of today.

My mother and her people are given that priviledge because their ancestor from ughoha settled first before the Ndokwa and aniocha people..

First things first. If you take it I’m standing brief for the binis pls dont bother writing any further. I’m telling history as I understand it to be from extensive research. After all this kingdom we are talking about where is it today??

The bini history is hard to refute you know why. Its well elaborated in both the portuguese and british text by the colonials when they arrived. Read up what they had to say about the city and the people. A text had it they were the most developed. Their history is also well grounded. None of these areas had anything close to what binis had going on and in the power system of the time could never had rubbed off on their superiors. Culture like water travels from a high point (strong point) to a low point (weak point).

And this is also why the culture of our colonial masters rubbed off on us and not the other way round.

KingOdart:

It is true that things don't just happen but why don't you think what if it was the other way round? What if we were actually the one that influenced you to start eating that food? Same way we influenced you in other things?
