I went to the East by road, Wednesday last week. One tank took me from Lagos to Owerri.
Improvement from before but still atrocious gas mileage. AC was on made one 5 minutes stop and drove till we stopped in Owerri.
I lose range in traffic. 80 km driving to the Ihiala check point.
Comfortable ride. Left Lagos atabout 520 am, I was in Owerri Bon Hotel by 320 pm.

Men future proof yourselves. Save and save and save. Invest in income generating ventures. Not your brother or cousins business.
Unless you are Dangote level rich, you will become redundant once your income level drops.
Give up something today to safeguard your tomorrow.
Save and save. 20% of everything you earn every month. Put it away.

I hope this is my last one of the year.
The new radiator failed. It was installed in July.
Since we were pulling out the radiator, I replaced the water pump and timing belt using original Mitsubishi parts. The PCV tube was clogged so he cleaned it. Looking to buy a new one.
The transmission issue was caused by low fluid levels. A big dooh or slap in the face there. Spent a ton on fluids to find this out.
I hope this is it for a long time.

Summary of what has been done.
Air filter
Spark plugs 6
Tensioner and belt
6 ignition coils
Tie rod ends
lower control arms
Front ball joints
3 wheel bearings
Front and rear brake pads
Parking brake shoe
Shift sensor
Fluids and filters transmission
Differential (front and rear) and transfer case fluids
Pulleys
Seafoam treatment
Manual cleaning of intake manifold
Numerous bulbs
Gear shift selector rubber and mat
Valve cover gaskets
Engine Oil cap
Fuel cap
Radiator cap
Thermostat
4 new tyres
Water pump
Timing belt
Steering boots (rubber)
Blocked rear heater
I will update if I missed anything.
Education / Re: Why Do Some School Teachers Sleep With Students? by chris81964(m): 1:21pm On Dec 04, 2023
Gadafii:
Some of this eve girls are already sleeping with someone their ancestors age

Don’t just blame teachers alone, parents, society and even these wayward children have fault in this

Go outside around Lagos or some cities in Nigeria and see how these young girls go about wearing tight and oversized round necks without bra, na teacher teach them that one too

This girls have become bold and shameless over night

Gone are the days when woman wear shimi under their clothes, where their body parts are covered

Tight used to be an underwear, but these girls now wear it out like major clothes, so blame them too
Not an excuse to break the law. A child dressed as an adult is not an adult.

AutoMoTech:

care to explain "wrong fluid"? what fluid was that in particular and what fluid corrected the slips?
The owners manual called for ATF SP 111. I used that. I drained out 4 lliters and added Valvoline Max Life.
Yesterday it performed normally. I changed the coils a day before. Coincidence?
With the old fluid on start up it will jump out of gear and then bang in. It might do it one or two times.
With Maxlife, it did it but not with the jerk and once it engaged it was fine.
Car Talk / Re: The PAJERO Club by chris81964(m): 6:21am On Nov 29, 2023
Shagati:

Why?
Initially to remove the old fluid. If you don't flush, you do a drain and fill. Subsequent times the wrong fluid. I followed the manual and it would jump out of gear in the morning till it warmed up. The last drain and fill improved it. One more and I am good to go.

Update. I have done so much since my last update.
New radiator
Néw ball joints
New tie rod ends
New right wheel bearing
Transmission drained and filled countless time
New shift sensor
New transmission filter
All 6 ignition coils
I have spent half the price of the truck on fuel and maintenance.
I hope to see a big improvement in fuel mileage. The two I initially changde yielded a 15% improvement. I am hoping for a 30% improvement.
That will save me 300k every 10 months.
Next on the list minor body work and a repaint.
My brother leaves his GL and borrows my truck. Mine will get him home all the time.

Inverter Warranties are they real?
I remember my first purchases with excitement, I was finally going to install solar inverters branded with my name.
It was a disaster of epic proportions. The inverters failed on installation and the supplier blamed us for connecting the inverter to a large generator. Totally BS answer. This was Tanfon Lily. Then we did Yiyen and my rep and the company stopped answering messages and email, when we tried to file a warranty claim.
Another supplier told me that they would send me replacement parts whenever I placed another order.

He will have to learn both humility and patience.

iInjureHerYansh:
Told this girl I have been seeing lately to stop asking me for money if she really care about me and I haven't heard from her since thengrin Where are the people that say women can date if money isn't involved?
Well not all women are after money but majority of our girls are doing this dating thing for survival.

Relationship has to be transactional or she moves. The earlier you realize all the sweet name calling and things she's been doing for you is cos you have money to give her the earlier you will know how to stand.

I always see every lady as someone who doesn't love me for me but for my assets, until she proves otherwise. It has saved me a lot.
This lady I just talked about is another point of reference.

You can also try it with the girl you are seeing now and see for yourself if you doubt me.

Stop dating girls and date women. Date someone that has substance who can help you grow.
