I known life can get really messy at times, but please look on the brighter side and be grateful for all you got yet, while God fixes the remaining
You've got
1. Life: I mean you're hale and healthy...It means opportunities can still come knocking around (The dead has no opportunities)
2. You're 38 and not married. We here of women getting married for the first time at 58. So you my dear can and will still be married in due time.
-Note some got married and are now widowed/widower. Some are frustrated with their marriage and wants it to end.
So on a light note I'll say enjoy your short-live single hood in peace before you get married
3. You've got a million in your account. Some people out there have literally nothing, leaving from hand to mouth and they're still striving. So you my dear is blessed and I pray the seed in your hands multiplys to bring in bigger harvest of finances. If you can invest a portion of that money to something productive and see it grow

Know This: Delay is not denial. At your appointed time everything will work for your good. Just keep pushing and be grateful for the little things you have. Your breakthrough is underway

Car Talk / Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by chrisatah94: 7:46am On Oct 02, 2022
Good morning @all

Please I got a toks Honda Civic 09 barely 2months... Being a newbie & since it's a personal ride for just everyday simple runs like to & fro for work, shopping when needs be etc..I planned to be using the recommended engine oil (which I tried to know earlier but didn't get info). So my friend recommended I bought mobil 20w-50. But I just confirmed the recommended oil for the civic is 5w-20. My question now is
1. Will it be wise to flush out the old and put in new 5w (giving the popular opinion that one should ensure to continue using same type of oil you started with to prevent quick damage of your engine)

2. The car has a ridiculously low ground clearance and it hits the ground frequently when I navigate around undulating terrain. Even the bottom left of the front bumper is showing crack already due to the impact of hitting the ground. Please will you recommend I go to lift the car or probably change to bigger tyres/rims?

3. Since day one of buying the car, it shows this spanner sign on the dashboard and doesn't show anything on that milage display area. (Meanwhile know immediately we bought it we change all the necessary oil and transmission fluid). Please is that something I should worry about, what are the implications...also how do I get that fixed

4. I'm in Abuja please...if you recommend I visit a car fixing shop... Please if possible kindly recommend me someone that is good with Honda

Thanks in anticipation of your response

Car Talk / Re: 10 + 1 Favorite Cars Of Nigerians In The Last Two Decades. by chrisatah94: 1:38am On Oct 02, 2022
benzmatic:
☺☺☺ That's a car I'm quite fond of and have first hand experience of.
The 8th generation civic is quite popular with Nigerians even though it couldn't make the list. It was released with radical sporty looks and a futuristic interior that was best in class at the time and is quite impressive even today. A word that may come to mind of a person first encountering the remarkable dash and cluster is "spaceship". The car is also known as i-robot in some circles.
Engine and transmission are typically reliable and fuel economy is competitive for small sedans of the era. Parts are affordable and readily available in many major cities.

It is setback by low ground clearance and a cramped engine bay due to the steep front windscreen design. The engine appears to have been placed into the bay from underneath the chassis at the factory, so technicians have to be quite patient to reach engine components when working in the engine bay. Also the power circuits to the compressor and ECU seem to be interlinked in some way and a short in the compressor circuit can cause a blown ECU.

1.8l 4cyl engine has 140hp @ 6300rpm,
174nm torque @ 4300rpm.
0 - 60: 10s
Average fuel economy: 9l/100km.

Market price: 1.9 - 2.4m naira.

Please I just started using a Honda Civic 2009. I'll need you to help out on the following please
1. What engine oil will you recommend I use?
2. The car ground clearance is quite low...what will you advice...get bigger tires or raise a bit? IF Yes, please recommend a good place to go get it lifted in Abuja. Thankyou

Please I use a 2009 Honda Civic. The car is too low and very obvious when it meets undulating roads, it keeps hitting the ground anyhow. I'm in Abuja... please help recommend a good place around to go lift it, alongside an idea of the price? Thanks

Recently installed a 5.5kwh Smk hybrid on and off grid inverter system coupled with 4 units of 12v 200ah blue carbon lithium ion lifepo4 batteries and 8 450watts mono solar panels. Everything seems fine, but the only downside is that my 9kva firman 12990esr generator can’t seem to charge it. So far only the solar and Nepa light have been able to charge it. But with the raining season on full mode and epileptic power supply, I really need the generator option. My installer said my generator frequency isn’t enough, this is a generator that comfortably powers my 3hp inverter standing AC and 1.5hp inverter AC. What can I do pls?

Hi pardon me to ask please, how much was the inverter installed?

Gptech:

It won't power such AC effectively unless the AC is inverter type. Meanwhile this generator you uploaded is not original.

Thankyou for your feedback. Please how did you identify as not original? I mean how will I differentiate original from the fake?
