ARTETA TARGETS DENNIS AS REPLACEMENT FOR AUBAMEYANG
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will look to sign Nigeria forward Emmanuel Dennis as replacement for Pierre- Emerick Aubameyang this summer.
Aubameyang’s contract expires in 2021 and the Gabon international has been heavily linked with a move away from north London, with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United all monitoring the situation.
The 30-year-old has scored 61 goals in 97 games since his arrival from German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund in January 2018.
According to the Daily Mail, the West London club has now identified Club Brugge striker Dennis as the ideal replacement for Aubameyang after being impressed with his displays for the newly crowned Belgian Pro League champions in the 2019/2020 season.
Dennis rose to prominence this season after scoring a brace in the 2-2 draw with Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League at the Santiago Bernabeu and hiting the back of the net once in the Europa League home clash against Manchester United.
Overall, he scored nine goals in 33 games across all competitions for Brugge last season.
Arsenal however face competition from Sheffield United, Watford, Newcastle and Brighton for Dennis.
The 22-year-old admitted he is open to leaving Brugge for a new adventure.
“I like challenges. I’ve been here for three years. My focus right now is I have one more game this season – the Cup Final – which I want to win, that’s really important to me," Dennis told Sky Sports News.
“After then, we’ll see what happens, you never know.” |

It’s possible he will change his style
Maybe he is the best player at henreveen that’s why he is doing that Not maybe, he definitely is. Most of the time, his team mates waste the opportunities he creates for them to score, if they had been as clinical, dude would have had a better number of assists. I have seen many of his matches this season to say this. |

charlesemeka85: Manchester United are among the English Premier League clubs monitoring Queens Park Rangers' Nigerian-born winger Bright Osayi-Samuel ahead of the upcoming transfer window, allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report.
In February 2020, Queens Park Rangers triggered a clause to extend Osayi-Samuel's contract by one year, until the end of the 2020-2021 season, but despite that he is attracting huge interest from clubs higher up the pyramid.
Apart from Manchester United, it is confirmed that scouts representing Arsenal, West Ham, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Everton have sought permission to watch the Queens Park Rangers number 20 in the 2019-2020 season.
Promotion-chasing duo Leeds United and West Brom plus Championship rivals Fulham and Stoke City are also keeping tabs on Osayi-Samuel with a view to a potential swoop.
Dutch Eredivisie club AZ Alkmaar, who have been awarded a place in next season's Champions League, have observed Osayi-Samuel at close quarters this season.
The former Blackpool wonderkid has been influential for Queens Park Rangers this season, scoring five goals and setting up eight others in 29 appearances in the Championship.
The versatile winger who is capable of playing on both flanks has been on the books of QPR since the summer of 2017. QPR has already rejected a 3million bid from Club Brugge for the Okija boy |

komekn: We are largely anonymous on this thread.
For some that means l can say anything l like without any sense of right or wrong.
I take the view that one will have to give account for his words and if l loose anonymity, would I be ashamed of those words. Certainly not.
For me this forum is largely light hearted entertainment and banter. I do not take anything that serious. Absolutely nobody can offend me because l don't take offence.
For that reason you will never see me use vitriolic acidic rhetoric and abusive language to anybody. That is true even in my personal capacity.
I may use very diplomatic language and long drawn out diction to say someone lacks common sense and or more. But abuse a big capital No.
Nonetheless, over the years our words are recorded whether they are lies or truth. They say something about us. They paint a picture about us.
In my professional capacity l am always 95% of the time the only black person. I come across ignorance and blatant discriminatory racism very often.
My response is to show those ignorant racists overwhelmingly consideration and love. To a point they become ashamed of thier ways and begin to see me and other black people in completely different light. It means that l can not get bitter from the bitter racism l am shown. It's actually biblical.
But back to you.
I do not lack discernment to see the spirit behind most of your comments and the nature of them. However, I choose not too be like you and not reciprocate. I can not anyway, because it's simply not in my nature.
We know as a man thinketh so he is. To the pure all things are pure and to the impure everyone and everything is impure. So what you perceive is not neccesarily a truth but a reflection of yourself.
I was born in UK but made in Warri.
I spoke in comedic tongue and cheek language specifically Warri pidgin, in light hearted banter.
I am almost certain Edopesin, andrewbaba44 and Joebie will bear me witness.
However, when ChrisKels responded giving his address. I remember our Warri saying "na joke joke, people deh take talk true". Maybe he really needs some help I thought
I thought too remove any stigma let me gather the forum to eat along with him albeit of us together, albeit it Virtually. l truly was looking forward too it. The spirt here is brotherly love and consideration in jokingly way, not insult and abuse (as you somehow have alleged)
You called me to honour my words.
I then gave you a proviso, that you should take a picture so we can all join in and eat with you AGREED. Indeed a quite a few people were looking forward to the event, again in light hearted fun. But you have spoiled it.
But now you have shown a lack of of truth integrity, honour and even civility.
You can't cover unrighteousness, lies and deceit with a supposed good deed.
It would have been better you took the money and explained say tings tight oh bros , l decided to cook one pot of Oha soup and show us, everyone will understand, even hail u join.
But what you have done here hmmm is simply not RIGHT, after calling me to honour my words. All these words just to mask your true intentions? Dude spare me this bull crap. Your intention was to bring me to disrepute and i wasn't going to fall for that. Yea, I used the money for something more important(helping the needy) than any unsolicited banquets. If you actually needed a thread party, you would have backed out when I came forward with a female bank account details. |
