Yes we managed to grind out a win, congrats to the boys, but we ain't here just for this, we rather are here primarily to unearth the next stars. Sorry I haven't been wowed by any player. Bar Tijani, I don't see no real talent in this team. This bunch is wack unlike what we av had before them
By the way, how did Adeniyi-2 make this team? I have never seen an eaglet rb as poor

BascoVanVeli: Yes and Eze is a big lad. Could be a threat in the air with his height. Osai is bigger. Eze on the other hand has a low center of gravity |

Humility017:
virtually most Nigeria coaches have tribalism/bigotry all over them...
show me the team list of an under 17, 20 set and I will tell you the tribe of the coach.......
save for few folks like aigbogun who are driven by incompetency and not tribalism John Obuh had a more balanced team devoid of quota system, nepotism and tribalism. He even made Azeez his captain and had Omerou as the only starting player from his region. Bulk of his team were yorubas - Azeez, Ajagun, Kayode, Ogungbe etc |

Show me where I made such kinds of comment that my tribe is better than you in football. What a dzft way to think. Just a doz of ur own pills and u are already catching feelings? If there was any stupid person here, that person is definitely U, bkus U started the tribal stuff here when u said Amunike chose chuks, Nwakali, Agor , Michael et al Bkus dey were Igbos. By so doing u implied that the guys who couldn't make it from other regions were better ,but were dropped due to tribalism and nepotism. somehow: Too many tribal bigots on this thread
Old members of this thread showing how rotten they are tribally.
It was an eyesore reading comments from you guys
As soon as the goals started raining in, all of you become dumb and fingerless.
The so called tribes they degraded and insulted won the game for us.
I'm so ashamed of you all.
Tribal bigots not fit to be called Nigerians.
People like you guys in a country like Nigeria are a burden that needs to be offloaded in the desert.
I'm so irritated reading you all. Now I see why the U17 team had less comments pre-today because of the names of the boys that made the team.
Shame to you all. Even though I don't support the action of those who criticized the team due to tribal inclination, but, I didnt see u this vocal back in 2015 when Forgiveness was doing same on the Amunike led team. He said Amunike took bribe to field his Igbo boys from owerri(nwakali) and umuahia(chuks) |

realpoacher: For the guys complaining, especially Chriskels, you should know that our Underage teams start out mostly trying to find their rhythm and gel.
They usually grow into the first match and into the tournament proper.
These boys are kids and are complete rookies. But they have natural skills, technique and flair.
I can write a script about today's match. Especially Chriskels? Why Chriskels? |

comodo: Garba dropped the foreign born players that would ve brought flair and technique to this team. All am seeing re just huff and puff.. It is not about foreign boys. 09, 13 and 15 sets had no foreigns but typified flair. Garba is a thief, most of these guys came from same academy and agents. Na lack of fair selection and poor scouting we dey see so. D man sacrificed talents for his own selfish gains otherwise he woulda been as open as he was in 2013 and he woulda visited more academies. Imagine there is no player from Diamond football academy that gave us Ipalibo, chuks and Nwakali just recently |

I know it is early days, but bar the captain, I don't see any talent in this team.
This doesn't look like a typical Nigeria U17 team. Garba dun chop bribe forget proper scouting. See as the boys dey run around like headless fowls. No techniques only jambody. Getting to the quarter finals is sure gonna be a very daunting task |
