Michael Obafemi will not be representing Ireland. He showed up to camp out of respect for the manager but told him they are not his first choice for international football.
Doherty really worked on this one grin grin

And I think he is having a good game from the rating. Good for him. But the guy dissapointed me pre-world cup chai
Disappointment no be small. I expected him to put up a show.
I asked for a tiger but embarrassingly, was served a puszie cat.

Onazi didnt disappoint me though bkus I knew he was never up to scratch, hence I didnt expect much from him but Joel

Nairaland no go kill me with laughter oo. This is nairaland, everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. Why get upset with a simple joke and go all out emotional. Then turning around to accuse one with divergent opinion of same thing you are guilty of.
I am not here to be a YES boy. Chikena!
So sorry if my post(s) was irksome, buh u could have done better than this. Really petty.

chaiii gsrri Master, kai.... Oga oooo
That was his alias growing up in Aba. Till today, thats what they call him there while his brother Kalu Uche goes by the name "Senegal".

Here in enugu, most people dont know Uchebo(remember him from the 2014 world cup?) by his real name "uchebo" rather we(especially the Achara layout guys) call/called him "Usumi". Somebody like Chisom Egbuchulam, is known as "German" and not Egbuchulam per se.

Its good you called musa, seems you call for musa i will agree with you.

But we all know dinosaur Rohr will never play musa there
No problems as long as Success is preferred. Isaac is the most complete striker( almost in all ramifications) we have.

I hope u aint one who takes things here, to heart?

Yes ighalo has flopped many times no doubt,we should move on from the world cup bro.

Ighalo was no where to be found when it mattered most, But what about our other striker where was he also during the world cup?

I cant only blame ighalo for the world cup
At the bolded, He(Musa) showed up, hence I prefer him to Ighalo striking for us. Finito

I understand you bro,
but nah somewhere e go take start nah,

me for one never doubt IGHALO, from his time in NORWAY to ITALY, to SPAIN, and then CHAMPIONSHIP, &BPL, he had done well for him self,
change of coach, which will always tactical changes, cope with his father death do him no good,
We are not to blame for his short comings bro. This is football, we talk/act facts not feelings. We sympathise with him for his loss but then we are not gonna compromise on quality. No preferential treatments and no glorification of mediocrity for reasons, whatsoever.

Agree with those players you mentioned, martins and co are world class including yakubu, yakubu is the 3rd african highest goal scorer in the epl history with 98 goals despite playing for average clubs only behind adebayor and drogba.

Ighalo is average no doubt.

But which super eagle striker is above average?

My brother all super eagles strikers are average players.
About the bolded, No wonder Musa was our best in Russia playing as a no.9. Now tell me where Ighalo was when it mattered most.

Your post reel of pure sentiments and hatred towards Ighalo. All those names you mentioned in what way are they better than Ighalo? In what league are they playing in? how many goals do they have to their names consistently for 2-3 seasons? Thank you
Too bad, u are emotional

hmmm, its one thing to score goals, and still its another thing to conceal goals,
losing a match, or being relegated, with a 21 goals striker, speak volumes of the backline and goalkeeping

happy Sunday......
The bolded is why I said the Chinese defense is a joke and the goals scored by the strikers against those defenses are flukes. Just check the stats and see the huge number of goals shipped in by the defense of each of the teams in the CSL, then u will get my gist better. All the clubs have poor defenses, hence a poor striker in that league would look like an Allan Shearer. That league is no good measure of a striker's true quality. It is deceptive and the world, bar some blind fanatics know it.

Ighalo is not a one season wonder, yes he had a loss of form and was sold to china january.

It might be hard for our strikers in the epl to even get 15 goals this season and you are calling ighalo a one season wonder

Benteke has been shinning in the epl but what happened to him last season? Dude got only 3 goals, average players always have their ups and down.
The bolded just gave u away bkus Eagles are renowned for quality strikers(Yekini, Siasia, Amokachi, Aghahowa, Martins, Yakubu, Garri master(Ike Uche) et al) , hence cant settle for average strikers like Ighalo and his ilks. Thank u sir

Alright, I hear you. Who do you suggest then to propel us going forward. Before I forget, your much overhyped Ivorian Seri is on the bench for Fulham.
What correlation does the bolded have with our topic of discussion? It reeks of puerility and makes u look outta sorts hence grasping at straws.

Nota bien; make this a raillery and avoid unnecessary provocative jibes even when u try to straggle, otherwise, I walk away

Now back to our topic, Success is ready, Musa thrives better playing up front, Iheanacho, Odey and Osimhen are options

He proved himself in England. So you have nothing on him. He would have been a Manchester United player if not for the sacking of Vaan Gaal.
In England, he was a flash in the pan. A one season wonder. He couldn't sustain the tempo hence felled outta favour and then ran away to Asia. About joining United(that's if that news was anything to go by), he would have been United's own version of Lambert who also flattered to deceive, and still managed to scam Liverpool.

So all baba 21goals or so no dey productive grin grin grin
When I say those goals na wash una think say I dey hate on the boy. Defense in the Chinese league is a very big joke, hence the exploits of the strikers there are flukes. Chinese leagues dont invest in the defense unlike in the midfield and attack where they pack some over used players from Europe. All u hailing Ighalo's goals in China are funny and cant see beyond ur noses. Like I always say, Ighalo's little purple patch wt the Eagles lately and his romance with Rohr is like a pig on lips stick. Ighalo aint what we need to propel us. Do you even know how many goals a crap wing forward like Frank Acheampong of Tianjin Teda has banged in since moving to China? A player who couldn't manage a double digit in as many seasons while in Belgium with Anderletch.

Lol I laf in swahili bkus Teda (mikel's club) is also on the edge despite Acheampong's goals.

See Ighalo, see Rohr grin grin

Denney and Gray are on the bench for him... interesting.
I trust my boy to push himself really hard today, knowing that he has a Deeney breathing down on him from the bench. Be a fighter Isaac, u have come a long way, dont give back that shirt, make it permanent!!!!

You all know I aint no fan of this boy below as he belongs to the carpenter crew in my book. But honestly, he has been doing good for Setubal this season and earning excellent ratings. In the last match he played for the Eagles(against DRC) he was equally good. I just hope he turns up in the FNB stadium come 17th.

You are not wrong bro

A player who is always injured at a young age is not highly rated ,this is football .
The bolded isnt our conversation, rather we talking about criticising(unfairly) an injured or injury prone player for sometime he has no control over.

But then, going by that bolded, in another topic though, Wilshere, Hargreaves, Reus, Robben, Ribery, Van Persey, Ousmane Dembele of Barca even Joel Obi et al were all highly rated
