Watching the European Nations league, I am forced to ask, is Europe really that better than Africa?

See pitches from Andorra to Kosovo, Serbia, Marcedonia, Bosnia etc

That Seychelles pitch we played in, is a paradise to what Andorra presented as they played host to Latvia

Oga, you cannot be saying this if you are truly a fan of Nigerian football.

You want us to be dethroned! Na wa o.
Nwoke oma, dis has nothing do with being a fan or not. I am a hardcore fan of Nigerian football, buh that won't mask how I feel about the one horse race of the AWCON.

I aint saying Falcons should falter, instead I want Cameroun to rise up to the occasion to help make this AWCON look more like a competition. The AWCON shouldn't be anybody's birth right.

Una with this una fear of Cameroon again. Cameroonphobia.

Just watch as we go take beat them.
Did u fail gst101? I said I want Nigeria to be dethroned and I tip Cameroun to help me do that. How that amounts to Camerophobia beats me. Dis Cameroun side isnt even as good as the one falcons brought down in the final in Cameroun. I just want us not to win and Cameroun hpns to be the best among the other three teams looking to bring down Nigeria, hence my support ahead of the other three teams. Our sporadic winnings defeat the competitiveness of the tourney, so I want another team. And that team right now is Cameroun. Simple

I want us to win it again and again. Let the other African teams go and work hard if they want to dethrone us as Queens of African Female Football.

As for those names E. Guinea have always been known to parade Nigerian origin players.
Meanwhile, the committee needs your attention.
About dethroning us, Cameron are sure gonna do that for me. I am upbeat.

Yea yea yea, one player(Blessing Nnabugwu Diala) of the Nigerian contingents in the in Guinean team stood out for me today, Chigozie then Celestina.

I am for us winning the Trophy. The AWC is our birth right.

We are going to beat Cameroon. Take that to the bank, tell them I sent you.
I dont want us to win it, I just want us to secure a world cup place. Our incessant triumphs make the competition look like a Disney show. It is becoming boring.

By d way, how many Nigerians started for Equatorial Guinea today? I counted 3, bar Okoro

Yes Ibiam was the first national team goalkeeper buh what were his achievements for the national team? I think Best Ogedengbe who was the first team goalkeeper in the 80s and a member of the all conquering squad that won us our first Afcon, fits the bill better.

My pick is #BestOgedengbe

Next, the list of award Categories. So as not to prolong matters, I have here a list of categories. Members of committee can also add theirs. But we should try not to make the list too long so as not to make voting difficult or combasome for people. Adjustments can also be made on the list below:

1. Nigerian Player of the Year
2. Nigerian Home based player of the Year
3. Most impactful New Inclusion (2018)
4. Best Goalkeeper (Vincent Enyeama award)
5. Best Defender (Stephen Keshi award)
6. Best Midfielder (Jay-jay Okocha award)
7. Best Attacker (Rashidi Yekini award)
8. Young player of the year (for players 21yrs and less)
9. Super Falcons player of the year
10. Super Eagles Goal of the year.

cc: Tbaba1234, Forgiveness, Komekn, TheSuperNerd, ChrisKels and Joebie
To me, the list is OK, adding more might make it cumbersome and unattractive

In truth Musa was a poor player for a long time, but dude has really improved his game.
He is much better at taking on players, but what I like most is that his decision making and passing has really improved. Couple that with his deadly pace, his goal scoring threat, and his defending.
At one point late in the 2nd half he was tracking back all the way into our box to make a tackle, and this playing as a CENTRE FORWARD.
he is a deserved starter for SE. The guy played very well again today and scored another legit goal that was called off. His goal per game ratio of late is very very good.
Glad to see his game come along way. Very key player for us, complete baller right now.

My dear, from some posts in here, u can grade people's standards outside of this forum.

I will never forget what one gal told me bk then in skul. Gal was a very strong first class candidate from the dept of Geoplanning and never had anything less than A. Final year second semester, a lecturer called J.U Ogbonna hammered her 74(A) in a course she did so well that her actual score was supposed to be above 90. D girl begin para for the lecturer threatening to write a petition against him if he failed to provide her answer script to prove that he gave her what she merited. Na so I dey try calm her down say Chy but it is still an "A" nah, she told me straight up, "see KC I know my worth and my standard, I dont compromise on these two and I cant settle for less."

I just nod head comot, say babe dun carry laws of power scatter her head. She stood her ground and the almighty JU Ogbonna succumbed.

Rohr To South Africa : Play As You Did Against Super Eagles, You'll Beat Libya
Published: November 17, 2018

With Libya hammering Seychelles 8-1 on Saturday afternoon, it is going to be a big battle when South Africa face the Mediterranean Knights in March 2019 for the last ticket in Group E of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr named Brighton & Hove loanee Percy Tau as the South Africa player that impressed him the most in today's contest at the FNB Stadium.

The 24-year-old forward kept the Nigeria defense busy throughout the game and showed brilliant footwork to set up the South African equaliser scored by Lebo Mothiba in the 26th minute.

The Super Eagles won back-to-back games against Libya in October, while South Africa were held to a goalless draw by the North Africans two months ago.

Commenting on South Africa's final group game vs Libya, Rohr told SuperSport : ''It will be a big battle, in Sfax we played a very good Libyan team. They saw already here that it is not easy to beat them.

''But I think that if South Africa played as they did today, with Percy Tau who is a wonderful player they are going to beat them and even a draw will be enough.

''I think they will be with us at the next AFCON in Cameroon.''

Percy tau is good ,Brighton had to get him from the South Africa league ,work permit made them send him out on loan

Their best player can only make our bench yet u defending Rohr for getting only a point from a possible 6 against them while they got 4? Not just that he got a point, he also played poorly

A loss against Eagles would av cost Baxter his job, Baxter had a meeting with Rohr last month in London, Rohr came up with a suspicious list of players to prosecute the match, he chose a questionable line up and he was all Smiles when calls were going against his team. Yet, some ppl wanna tell me, nothing happened behind closed doors? If only this nonsense was done by a local coach
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by ChrisKels: 6:54pm On Nov 17, 2018
Buh after every-every, Percy Tau is a baller. He made a mistake changing his position to from Omeruo's side to Balogun who was having a good game, otherwise, he would have stung us more than he did.

Like I av always said, Collins is a liability, poor defending, wanting in attack, poor marking, poor ball sense. I dont see anything good in this boy, bar his handsome frame and red lips. Too bad, Idowu isnt helping matters either undecided

Keep in mind a better coach could have worse results. Football is complex and good results are hard to achieve. So we should appreciate Rohr for that.
Yes good results indeed are hard to achieve excuses upon excuses, little wonder Libya walloped Seychelles 1-8 whereas we were boasting of our 0-3 score against them. Rohr's effect on this team, is a negative one. KPOM! We brought him to build us war jets not weaklings. If he cant do that, he should be gone

People hail Rohr for getting us an Afcon and world cup tickets Lol. Need I remind u that a less fancied coach with a poorer CV, with less talented bunch of players under a harsh environment(less cash), also, got us these tickets, got us to the knockout stage of the world cup, won the Afcon in far away kuviki land? Yet we are here celebrating a mediocre bkus he is foreign. I aint no fan of Keshi buh as bad as he was, he is better than this scam we Parade as a coach.

Lol chriskels you no go kill me with laugh

Only all this words for rohr?
There is what is called pride bro. I guide mine with my life, hence I never settle for less. One thing I believe in, stay away from a fight that doesnt worth it buh whenever a minor tries to rise above his level in disrespect to his superiors, beat him to stupor to serve as a deterrent to others. We have everything in our Arsenal, why should we be so soft on opponents like SA. No disrespect to SA buh if they had the quality we had, they would mop the floor with us. The had more injury worries and withdrawals, yet they looked more coordinated with their play than us that have had majority of our players playing together for more than 3years now. If we played good football and ended up wt the score he got, I wouldn't mind, buh fvck it, we were damne poor like a cow dung

Rohr is a disgrace. I want him gone for a coach who understands what it means to protect the pride of a nation.

I noticed it too. Everything Rohr said there is what any layman would say. No comment on tactics and strategy. No in-depth game analysis, nothing. Just rambling about nothing.....

In many ways Rohr reminds me of Buhari. Old, dull, slow to react, unintellectual, incoherent of speech and seemingly unaware of events happening around them.
One word sums up the man. "clueless"

Eagles have never had such an unambitious coward of a clueless septuagenarian as a coach. Man is an excuse of a national team coach, little wonder he is full of excuses.

Who else noticed that after the match, Rohr wasnt able to analyse the match technically and tactically too, unlike Baxter, rather he was busy eulogising Tau and helping SA with their permutation as regard their away match to Libya?

Clueless coach
