Villarreal's Samuel Chukwueze: "I did not expect to play so soon"

By Football Espana staff

Villarreal forward Samuel Chukwueze has admitted his surprise at his fast rise to prominence after netting in each of his last La Liga appearances.

The Nigerian netted in Sunday’s victory over Real Betis after scoring in the previous draw at Rayo Vallecano – making it three goals in just five starts in all competitions.
“It has been an impressive month for me,” Chukwueze is cited as telling reporters by Plaza Deportiva.

“I did not expect to play so soon with the first team but I do not feel pressure or particularly significance, I am only thinking about working hard and continuing to improve.

“It is important to make sure the Coach retains his trust and confidence in me but it is exciting to be playing and doing things that are right.

“Barcelona next week? It is a game that we can win and that is what we are focused on now.”

With Rohr hoping to bring in Odubajo (according to Sir ChrisKels), Aina's place in the Eagles Squad maybe in danger especially with Ebuehi's imminent return.
Idowu should be more worried bro. Aina has been awesome as a left wing back for Torino this season, that said, Moses Odubajo, though, a sexy RB has played more as a LB for Brentford this season also. Do u c, it is kinda dicey? Im just loving the competition tongue

He still lacks his former match sharpness.

However, his return after a near two year injury nightmare is simply Miraculous.
Yea buh he doesn't look out of shape for a championship player though for his standard he still has to brush up some rough edges. That will come with time though, BTW, the next gathering of the Eagles is in March 2019.

I know you are referring to me

I never insulted Billing or call him a bad player ,besides I was teasing you about Igbo players and not insulting you

I have always tell everyone that dinosaur rohr is not looking his side and it's not helping matters ,now if I tell you to show me where I said those players you mention are better than him you will skip that as you skipped my last question .

But I can see you took it personal

You lack understanding, shebi if I insult you e go b like say I like wahala

I will leave you for now ,if you try this next time you won't like my reply ,I can assure you .
U were teasing me by defaming my person? Dude if dats how u tease, it was really clumsy, u gotta improve on ur teasing skills. If I had overlooked that post, would u have told those gullible folks that already liked the post that u were joking? Bro I know jokes when I see one.

all of them done hide. john ogu is better than him ooooooooooo!
One of them couldn't handle it hence he started blabbing that I rate him highly bkus he was of Igbo extraction but neglected the fact that the boy is an upgrade on all the carpenters we Parade as midfielders and the majority of those carpenters are Igbos too, the likes of Agbo, Ogu, Agu then, Etebo and Onazi complete the list grin

For Aigbogun to have convinced Tom Dele Bashiru and other Anglo Nigerian Players to commit to his U20 set up, then, he deserves some credits. Though I still insist he does away with those grandpas(Alalade et al) masquerading as U20 players for good.

U self you 2 like wahala

I don study you,as far as na igbo player you must make 2 much noise

Anyway good thing for Nigeria football

But dont be so happy yet,the question you should be asking is will Dinosaur invite billing?
In here, dey called me the German Lord because of Akpoguma, Uduokhai and Torunarigha, all none igbos. Dey said I counted my eggs before dey were hatched because of Tammy and now Ademola. I have always been pro Bazee, Odubajo, Aina, Success, Osimhen et al, all none Igbos. Last I checked, Agu, Ogu are members of my carpenter crew. So bro, the bolded gave you out as a clueless fellow as long as my position and choice of players in here are concerned. Man that was really a very stupid comment to make

Better luck next time grin

I wonder why those guys that were dissing Anyanwu Billing, a handsome balling boy from Ngor Okpala, for a bad game he had due to lack of match fitness, have all gone missing.

Stats say he has been one of, if not the best in his position, so far this EPL season.

Like I told u guys earlier, Odubajo has come back strongly. I have been following him this season with Brentford, he still has that thing that made him a hit with Hull. I'm glad Rohr has sounded him out, and he would be there in Uyo when we welcome Seychelles
