Guys our league is so useless that outsiders see it for what it is, "a joke"
We should be ashamed of ourselves when we hear news like this.
Richard Arthur of Wa All Stars directly(without trials) joins French giants Lyon in the ligue 1 after helping his team win the 2018 ghana premier League
I doubt anybody can make such move from NPFL. The best they can get is trials that never yield nothing |

forgiveness: I see.
Our players are average but you told us PSG, Barcelona, Monaco, Liverpool, Liepzig etc were looking for Onyekuru and you even put etcetera behind am to show the infinity of clubs looking for him just to prove a point he is a World beater but suddenly you changed mouth to dey say our players are average because of Moses Simon, by trying hard to ridicule him, saying, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester United and co are not interested in him. Na wa ooooooo.
At least, it is on record Liverpool offered for Moses but what can be said of Onyekuru whom you portrayed as World class player because of those rumour moves?
Did any of those clubs officially logged an offer?
Was this not the same time people here tried to ridicule Kayode when Onyekuru was bought by Everton saying, if Kayode is good enough with all his exploits as the best player and highest goal scorer in the Austrian league, why are clubs not interested in him before suddenly Newcastle and Manchester City tussled for him. The rest they say is history. They were so shocked that some even said he choosed Manchester City because he wanted to show himself but I swear, if Onyekuru moved to Manchester City, they will never talk like that.
The same thing they said about Taiwo Awoniyi before Liverpool signed him. They said he wasn't good enough and it was because Isaac Success had injury he managed to play but these fellows who praised Iheanacho didn't tell us that Iheanacho also had the chance because Alhassan was dropped due to failed MRI Test. That is life and I never thought he is a bad player because of the chance he took that propelled him to Manchester City. Na em luck be that.
It's high time some of you calling people tribalist here should check yourself first before you start accusing people of what you are guilty of.
And it's high time you see all players as yours instead of...... Enough Just a little correction ; Onyekuru passed PSG medical before opting to join Everton due to EPL craziness. |

charlesemeka85: well the likes of real madrid, barca, juve, man untd and co who you hoped for them to fight for moses are not interested. liverpool were unable to come up with the fee gent demanded while wolfsburg paid the exact amount. a move from gent to a team of the caliber of wolfsburg is a good move. wolfsburg is one of the teams in the germany with rich tradition and history and huge fan base. they under-performed for some seasons ago doesnt rub off their achievements, rich history and status. its far better than remaining in belgium or moving to slavia prague hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. if simon performs well consistently he will attract bigger teams in germany and europe as a whole I couldn't find this news elsewhere, so I dont believe it. Although I don't think Peter Olayinka should go to Czech but of he decides to go who are we to say oh Nigerians like money too much ?? Are we forgetting that this is their source of earnings ? What is the likelyhood that he would not be injured next season or that bigger clubs will always come ?
Abeg make him make him money dey go. If he is still great come next year, bigger clubs will still notice him, at least players in the Nigerian leaugue still get trials, so what more a club already in Europe and is playing at UEFA level.
No be Mikel just pay N10 million to ransom him papa ? Did the critics(US) donate towards his funds ?

Kog45: Chris baba God bless you.
We had this discourse on Mbappe here some pages back and cos of it i asked a childhood friend who based in Paris with his family on Mbappe and his Nigerian name ADESANMI.
He narrated his own migration to France that he came to France with Cameroon passport and married a Tunisia lady with two kids and said possibly his kids can represent France,Cameroon and Tunisia in the future but to represent Nigeria would be difficult cos he came to France with Cameroon passport.
He said for Mbappe to be named ADESANMI and his brother ADEYEMI then something is amiss and likely Mbappe's Father migration story must be similar to his own. The bolded is possible, I have heard similar stories many times. It's possible Mbappe's is a Nigerian who went to France with a Cameroonian passport. We all know what a typical Nigerian can do. We can do anything just to leave this country. After all Moses lied over his parents just to be granted asylum in England. |

charlesemeka85: bros akanji is still very young and have a lot to learn. he had a decent worldcup outing. in few years to come the kid will transform into a top class defender. his style of play is similar to super super eagles hopeful felix uduokhai No doubt about that but he is definitely not exceptional for his age unlike a guy like Presnel Kimpembe. Akanji is just another average young center back, hence I say he was overrated here. That said, I hope he comes good in the future. |

forgiveness: Just say it. I have been expecting you to bring this news here since last two weeks but no way. I want to tell me u didn't see it? ” Two seasons ago I almost joined Spurs. The Sporting Director of Gent and that of Spurs were schedule to have a meeting with my agent in London after our clash in the Europa League, but my agent didn’t show up”, Simon told Owngoalnigeria.com. ” A fee has been agreed with Gent and what was left was personal terms and my agent was supposed to negotiate it on my behalf. Surprisingly he didn’t turn up. Even when Brighton came for me last season he did same thing”, the Liverpool target further reveal. Simon has left Harris for a new management team in DW-Sports and he said he is very much at home with the way they are operating and feels no pressure or concern about his immediate future. ” My agent will handle all that has to do with my future. I’m fit and better now and with my contract at Gent running out, I’m not in anyway scared because I trust the team I’m working with now”, he concluded. |

forgiveness: NEW: Liverpool Make €13m + Player Offer for Forward
July 1, 2018
Owen Maers
Liverpool have reportedly made their interest concrete in Nigerian winger Moses Simon with a formal offer sent to Belgian side Gent.
A bid was tabled to Gent recently, according to owngoalnigeria, the offer is €13m and also includes the loan of Liverpool youngster Taiwo Awoniyi. While the source is not very popular, this doesn’t mean it’s not credible as other publications have previously mentioned Simon’s name.
The 22-year-old caught the eye of Liverpool and other English clubs due to his performances for Gent last season – directly involved in nine goals across the 33 games he featured in. Simon caught the eye in the leadup to this year’s World Cup but unfortunately missed the tournament due to a back injury.

The contest for a place in the starting 11 was between him and Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi – Nigeria manager Gernot Rohr praised Simon for his pace and defensive work-rate, two essential qualities that could have gave the Super Eagles the edge to get out of a tough group.
You’d be forgiven for not knowing much about Moses Simon – with no World Cup showcase and the fact he plays his football in Belgium. The only fact that you’ve picked up is that his middle name is Daddy. Yes, you read that right. However, I’m here to help, as I’ve previously mentioned his pace is impressive and this combined with his dribbling makes him the archetypal winger.
Solomon Fowowe, a football writer at The Guardian Nigeria, compared Simon to Liverpool’s own Sadio Mane: “(He reminds) a little bit of Sadio Mane, if you like because he’s direct when he embarks on the way to go and he knows when to go on those dribbles when he gets close to goal. He has a whole lot of speed about him and it really works well.”
Should this be true, it would be an excellent acquisition for Liverpool, the need for depth on the wings is obvious to all of us and Simon would fill that void. Klopp’s record with developing young players is well documented, so the addition of the Nigerian to the squad would be excellent, however, it may be at the detriment of a young English player like Ryan Kent.

With Moses Simon’s contract with Gent set to expire next June, Liverpool will likely start putting the pressure on in the coming weeks starting with the bid tabled. Gent will be well aware of the embarrassment of riches that the Premier League clubs have at their disposal and the attempts to drive the price up would have already begun. With player power more prevalent than ever and Simon likely keen to move to one of the leading leagues in Europe as soon as possible, should the rumours of a bid be true you’d imagine Liverpool could get this deal wrapped up should they desire to.

komekn: But that's part of the problem, it's totally unjustified because it doesn't stand up to question.
Players who can't make it here are going to the Bundesliga to tear it up. Batshuayi and Ademola have stats that are top level in the Bundesliga. With regards to Ademola he had essentially come from league 1.
It's the top players in the Bundesliga that make it hear nit those who are struggling. Balogun is an exception he is in Brighton as cheap cover at a mere £1.8 million cost.
Our NFF officials also don't really do much to help the situation. Just as Kante, Diabate came from ligue 2 to tear up the premier League Xhadan shakiri, emre Chan et al were all strugglers who left Bayern to tear up the premier League |
