sontoly: Olayinka with a goal today, this guy really deserved to be looked into, seriously. Invite an unproven player who never contributed nothing enroute this world cup? Don't U know Musa and Simon are performing better than him? especially Simon, even in the Belgian League, he's doing better than Yinka, add to that Simon and Musa's experience. Please new players shouldn't be invited even though they are outperforming the players already in the fold so that the team chemistry and tactics won't suffer. |

Hamstring injury nawa. I hope he gets back soonest. Get well soon Ndidi. U have always been as tough and rugged as kids brought up in the barracks, so shake it off like a soldier. |

Joebie: No, but we’ve also had players that did well in friendlies but later fizzled out. Is Dike even in the MLS today? After he got injured I doubt he ever really got back. Maybe he’s the 2nd tier American division today. I have to check.
Modified From my checks on transfermarket I expected that boy to last longer than he did? |

Another MOTM for Ebere Eze. Bright Osayi-Samuel, the okija boy also gave a good account of himself scoring one of the goals as QPR see off Birmingham City. |

Icon4s: But some don't believe that(or pretend not to believe) age counts in football.
Players generally mature and get better with age. Just that they peak at various ages.
I look at some people when they criticise a player and then forgetting his age.
The expectations on some of these young players are too high. They expect them to be pulling up trees already meanwhile they are still at the developmental stages.
You in particular call me the custodian of the Hall of experience or something, you now agree with me that players get better as they age and gain more experience.
It is that young untested player that people here will always see as a better or best player. Going back to the motion that Kalu and Olayinka are better than Simon and Musa and that the later duo should be dropped for the former duo. Where is it done? You want to throw away the experience of Simon and Musa for untested young players? Not even as if Simon and Musa have not been forming in their clubs. Coming from someone who called a 20 year old Awaziem an overhyped player despite his obvious young age. People dey sha oo |

I pity those casting aspersions on my boy. Mind you, our most played defender during the qualifiers is now a bench warmer at lowly Bursaspor and the most berated has won back his starting shirt at Nantes. |

Is it only me or is anyone else monitoring the progress of Tom Dele Bashiru of Mancity? He's about the only Anglo Nigerian in the City ranks, that has openly said it will be an honour and a dream come true to some day pull on the GWG.
He is a beast in the midfield and he's alrdy played for the first team against Leicester City. The city faithfuls view him as the heir to their legend(Gnagneri)
One to keep an eye on.
List of midfielders I'm monitoring;
1. Ebere Eze 2. Ovie Ejaria 3. KC Nwakali 4. Tosin Kehinde 5. Dele Bashiru 6. Jack Ipalibo 7. Kingsley Michael etc |

Liverpool Loanee Awoniyi Claims He'll Return From Injury Before End Of Season Published: April 19, 2018
Liverpool loanee Taiwo Awoniyi has exclusively revealed to allnigeriasoccer.com that he will be back to full fitness in two weeks after copping an injury which seemed to have ruined his chances of making the Super Eagles' squad for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
It was earlier suggested that the former Golden Eaglets striker will not turn out for Belgian First Division A side Royal Excel Mouscron again this season but the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup winner has expressed optimism that he will be alright in a fortnight. "In two weeks, I will be fine by God's grace," Awoniyi told allnigeriasoccer.com on Thursday. "I also saw the story regarding my injury but that's how life is.
"God alone writes one's final news, that's my belief. I shall be back soon doing what I know how to do best. Thank you for the regular checks, I appreciate.''
In the current season, Awoniyi has netted ten goals from 31 outings in all competitions, while registering 7 assists. The 20-year-old was not in the Royal Excel Mouscron squad for their playoff games against Zulte Waregem and Waasl.-Beveren but could play their last three matches if his rehabilitation goes according to plan. |

Ndidi is the fulcrum of that Leicester team. The team felled like a pack of cards when he was suspended and his tackles were missing, now, Leicester's tackling machine is back and the team looks awesome again. I laughed when people said tackles don't win u titles
BTW, Another man of the match performance from the barracks boy. |
