DRC's FA really needs to be flogged. It beats me how they let Preston Kimpembe slip through their fingers. I mean a boy that was a member of DRC u17 set up just few years ago IS now going to the world Cup today as a France international and he's about the youngest player in the France squad. I pray Ejaria's case doesn't turn out same ooo |
France's reserve is better than England's 23man squad. #fact |
Good list but I hope we wouldn't regret leaving out a player like Henry Onyekuru. |
Here is Ghana U20 list. Most of the players come from the academies, but here, Aigbogun is giving us the Alalade, eneji and Ekenes of this world ; HAMIDU ABDUL FATAWU - Vision FC UMAR BASIT ABDUL RAMAN - New Edubiase United MOHAMMED KUDUS - Right To Dream Academy MENSAH GIDEON - Right To Dream Academy SADIQ IBRAHAM - Right To Dream Academy MAXWELL ARTHUR - Dreams FC ADJETEY DANIEL ADRIAN - Amidaus Professionals BABAWO SALIW - Dynamo Brest NURUDEEN ABDUL MANAF - KAS Eupen ARTHUR JUDE EKOW - Liberty Professionals IBRAHIM DANLAD - Asante Kotoko SC KUMAH EMMANUEL - Tudu Mighty Jets RICHARD DANSO - WAFA SC KONDA ISSAHAKU - Wa All Stars SULLEY IBRAHIM - Rising Stars DAYEGBE PROSPER AHIABU - WAFA SC HUDU ABDUL HALIK - Hammarby IF TANKO IBRAHIM - Red Star Belgrade I trust our Academy and NNL players more than those NPFL players. |
Who else knew this and never cared to bring it up here? There is a new format for the African qualifiers for the World U17 championships which will effectively act to dilute West African domination and increase the chances of qualification for countries like Uganda and Kenya. Under the new format, mini tournament among the various CAF regions will be staged with the regional champions securing passage to the African Youth Championship, which will serve as the final stage of qualifiers for the World Youth Championship. There will be 6 regional mini-tourneys, and only the champions of each region are certain to join the host nation, Tanzania for the Africa U17 championship (there will be an 8th team, but not sure how it will be selected). Ghana will enjoy the advantage of hosting the West African mini-tourney that will have Nigeria and Cote D'Ivoire, among others (there is a 2d West Africa zone, which has Mali and Senegal, among others), of which only ONE team is likely to qualify. |
From 2010 down, most people who schooled in towns and few in the cities finished second school at the age of 17and18. Imagine that man left sec school at the age of 17 in 2006, and it's been 12years since he left sec school, that guy should be at least 29 or 30 now. |
I always laugh whenever Icon4s makes those clumsy statements "Amunike shouldnt have graduated those U17 players directly to U20 ", " the U20 tourney is made for the professional players" Now look at the professional players. Youth football shouldn't be result oriented rather we should focus on using it to unearth gems that will in time take over from the already super Eagles. Amongst the Amunike guys, we know how many of them that have signed for European teams and making positive progression. Let see if any of these grandfathers in the name of professional players can leave the shores of Nigerian, let alone Africa, to sign for any team. Bring players with the right ages, professional or not, as long as he has the talent, augment it with few professionals who also are of the right age, then, we are good to go. They must not all be professionals else u fill the team with useless over aged stars. I wish the young lads( nazifi and co) amongst them the best anyways. |
Paul Aigbogun is a joke |
korlahwarleh:He's praised as the one who singlehandedly kept Bristol in the championship when he was there. If he had repeated that feat, his fans would still av said he singlehandedly kept Swansea in the EPL without acknowledging that he didn't do it alone, but u want us now to share the blame amongst other players while he takes the glories when things are going well? U r funny bro ![]() Apart from that, he was signed as Swansea' undisputed point man to help them bang in the goals, he flopped, he disappointed those banking on him to deliver. He was so bad he got relegated to the bench. If he was good and doing his assignments as wished, I assure you Swansea wouldn't have been relegated. Swansea had not many strikers in the EPL before him but none took Swansea to the championship but in his case ![]() |
When I told u guys we dodged a hot copper bullet in Dat Tammy guy, his fan boys thought I was a sore loser. I av seen him closely and can boldly tell u Dat my Osimhen is more equipped (talent wise) than that Southgate's boy wonder. Breeze will never cease to blow make we dey see fowl yansh Hahahahahah ![]() |
Icon4s:Dat one concerns you ![]() |
Tammy finally relegated Swansea. Southgate told us he was the next best thing after slice bread and that he is a seasoned player. I called him a flash in the pan, a one season wonder, a championship player, an over hyped player, his fan boys called me a hater. But today he finally proved me right. I will reiterate ; any day any time, I will select my boy Sadiq Umar ahead of Tammy because he is far more a better player than Tammy. |
Mickael2:Did u witness the destruction of Rome in mersyside? What excuse av u for Alisson's shortcomings in that match? |
andrew444:Now u talking. |
andrew444:He is as good as I think he is but not in De Gea's level same as Alisson. I agree with every other thing u wrote up there. First time I ever agreed with You since you came aboard this ship ![]() |
Martz101:OK sir |
Mickael2:Did u see his unnecessary showboating? His clearances, the way he spills shots and his lack of ability to properly organise his defense unlike Karius? I will reiterate, Alisson ain't all what his fans want us to believe he is. He's good but the hype is too much, hence, he's overhyped nwoke m |
AC Milan Considering Move For Henry Onyekuru Italian Giants AC Milan are reportedly eyeing Everton of England’s young Nigerian Hotshot Henry Onyekuru. According to reports from Italy scouts from Milan have produced a more than positive report after watching the player repeatedly especially late last year before his Injury Onyekuru has since returned from the serious Injury and has been turning out for the Anderlecht reserves as he looks to gain minutes and return to full match fitness The Nigerian international featured for the U23s on Monday in their 2-2 draw with Liege. After having played twenty-five minutes against Sporting Lokeren last week, the Nigerian international is this time stayed on the field for one hour. Milan Sports director Massimiliano Mirabelli is said to be impressed with the players tenacity and versatility in front as the player who naturally loves to play on the left side of the attack is just as comfortable playing on the right or even playing as a central striker. The young Nigerian was signed by Everton by Eupen last summer before being loaned to Anderlecht this season. |
TheSuperNerd:Odi egwu!!!! Alisson Becker our Messi of the goalkeeping department just dey chop goal like kilode, wetin happen nwoke oma ![]() |
The day I called Allison over rated, some people here came for my head so much so that someone said Allison was the Messi of the goalkeeping department. And that Liverpool was after him to come solve their goalkeeping problems. But over these two legs, Karius showed who the better goalkeeper is even with some horrible defenders but van Dijk, in front of him unlike Allison who had the Gonalons, Manolas, Florenzis and Kolarov of this world in front of him. 11 goals in 4 matches. To those that doubted me that day, breeze dun blow ooo ![]() |
TheSuperNerd:Hmmm ur igbo bad but u dey try sha |
mbjane:Another goof back to back. The post u quoted said world cup reckoning. It doesn't necessarily mean that he's world cup bound, rather if there was, there is or will be any reason(eg injury to any key player) to look his way at least for the 35man list, he's kinda shot the door. Dude it is now obvious u have comprehension problems. Elyte89 Baba mi, there is a new entrant, please do d needful ![]() |
mbjane:Hahaha but u made no sense nah Dat was why I asked what ur point was. Akpeyi is better than Bayern keeper Or Ospina is a figurative expression made to show how poorly those keepers performed in those matches, that expression doesn't literally mean Akpeyi is better hence, must be called up by Rohr or must replace Ospina or the Bayern keeper as u understand it. Remember what I told u d other day, u most not quote every post, especially those u don't understand in order not to misconstrue them and appear stupid here. Try to heed this advice mister. I ain't blind it's just that u lack the ability to comprehend a simple message. Av a good day ofeke |
mbjane:And your point is? |
This Bayern keeper sha, Akpeyi is way better than this jittery piece of shit |
TheSuperNerd:Lol Mikel some people here will not agree with you, they would rather call such a gemstone an overhyped player ![]() |
Puel to be replaced by Benitez. Who else has read it? |
Post Russia go sweet Nigeria Monaco’s Bid For Gent Samuel Kalu Threatens Interest From Hoffeinheim & Bayern Leverkusen French Ligue 1 side Monaco have tabled a bid for hot in demand Nigerian wing forward Samuel Kalu who currently plays for Belgium side Gent, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal. The bid from Monaco arrived at the start of the month but Gent are yet to respond to the bid as they are also mulling over interest from two German Bundesliga side in Hoffeinheim and Bayern Leverkusen. It is believed that the forward prefers a move to the German Bundesliga but the teams interested in his services are yet to follow up their interest with a bid, although that could happen in the summer. Monaco are however keen on wrapping up his signing as their bid is believed to be close to Gent’s valuation of the forward which is around the €20m mark. However Gent are wary of losing both Moses Simon and Kalu in the same window but a bidding war for the later could force them to have a rethink and consider letting go of the Nigerian duo. |
goldfish80:U just did what I feared u would do. When I made that post, I didn't callI for him to be dropped for someone else. Rather I meant he might not be this good at the world cup proper. Mind you, that there is no one better than him, doesn't automatically make him consistent. He ain't consistent though he is better than his rivals |
goldfish80:What has ur question got to do with the know fact (his inconsistency)? |
I'm still not sold on Ighalo. Dude can be as inconsistent as whatever u can think of. I hope he proves me wrong anyways. |
TheSuperNerd:Lol but no be lie I lie nah. Na our usual line I reiterate nah. |
