Martz101:I'm so sorry if I was harsh/rude with my choice of words bro. I just don't like people making excuses for underperforming players |
darkelf:U no see as I snub am dey go my way? No be everybody I dey follow argue. Ighalo scored loads of goals in his farm. He was poor in Italy, Spain and the EPL. U wanna rate him because of his exploits in the championship, the same league a poor player like Tammy was a hero? Before his injury, an aged Martins was even doing better than this so called masked man in China. With his so called exploits(loads of goals according to Dat boy Martz10), what has he done for the Eagles in a plethora of matches despite the mammoth of chances created for him to score? Ppl go just dey open mouth anyhow. |
darkelf:The bolded has a simple answer if we were honest with ourselves. The answer is Sadiq Umar. Remember why we were hot on the hills of Tammy, now luckily to us, Umar is even an upgrade on Tammy, so why not give him that opportunity. And to ur last paragraph, please Ighalo ain't the best, we have better strikers, only the technical crew know why they prefer Ighalo. Ighalo, Agu, Simon and Musa wouldn't make my team. |
To that guy who asked who will be the headers, please have u seen Sadiq Umar play? He is a wizard in the air. I am no fan of Ighalo, in fact I want him out of that team ASAP because he misses lots of chances but, did u see his header against Cameroun in Brussels and also Kelechi's header against Cameroun in Uyo? We can score from crosses but unfortunately the crosses ain't coming through because we have whack wingers in Simon and Musa (the two headless chickens). A Frontline with Sadiq as the top striker and Kalu as the winger will produce powerful bullet plus glancing headers from pinpoint crosses. I honestly don't see our team as a serious team whenever I see the trio of Musa, Simon and Ighalo in the list of invited players or match day squad |
For more than three years now, I av been hammering on Musa and Simon's deficiencies that have been costing us but most people thought I was hating on them. Those two guys are no cerebral wingers and they av got nothing positive to offer the Eagles. Two crap wingers that can neither cross nor give that final pass to save their lives respectively. |
Celta Vigo Linked With Move For Huddersfield Town Nigerian Midfielder Published: April 11, 2018 Huddersfield Town's Denmark U21 international of Nigerian descent Philip Billing is attracting interest from Spanish outfit Celta Vigo ahead of the opening of the summer transfer, according to reports. Onda Deportiva Galicia Sur says the sporting director of Celta Vigo, Felipe Miñambres, is interested in signing the central midfielder. The 21-year-old Billing has 18 first-team games under his belt for the Terriers this season, having recovered from an ankle injury that kept him on the sidelines for three months, from November 2017 to January 2018. He penned a contract extension in August 2017, tying him to Huddersfield Town until June 2020, with the club having an option on a further year’s extension. Billing joined Huddersfield Town from Esbjerg in 2013 following a successful trial and rose through the ranks before making his competitive debut against Leicester City in April 2014. He has played four games for Denmark's U21 side and remains eligible to represent the Super Eagles. |
I hope Paul Le Guen's sack doesn't spell doom for our boys in Bursaspor. I can't believe Roma knocked me Outta the Champs league. I'm so vexed dis night |
elyte89:He should chop the bench very well. He and Simon are annoyingly crappy that I detest watching the Eagles whenever any of those headless chickens are on parade. More gametime for Bazee, an already in form Kalu and Onyekuru are my picks not those two deficient of the basics. |
Joebie:Dude doesn't deserve Russia if we must be sincere to ourselves. What has he done this season to be a part of the Russian party? |
tbaba1234:Not a big deal, he has been piss poor since rejoining CSKA. they tried helping him and he says thanks by being this childish. Dude thinks himself a big player just because he went to England to warm Leicester' bench. ![]() |
Why are some people comparing the dou of Awoniyi and Umar? Why bring down one kid to promote the other kid forgetting they are all ours and we ought to be happy they are coming up nicely? U guys do some stupid arguments here sometimes. I want Sadiq to spend one more year in the Eredivisie but with a better team like Ajax, same with Awoniyi with a team like Anderletch. The future looks great. |

Gent Searching For Replacement In Nigeria For Ligue 1 Bound Samuel Kalu Top division Belgium side Gent are currently resigned to losing their talented Nigerian forward Samuel Kalu, who is close to joining a team in the French Ligue 1. Last night Kalu scored the only goal for Gent in their 1-0 win over Club Brugge in the Belgium play-offs, and shortly after the game, a club source revealed to Owngoalnigeria.com that the 20 year old will leave the club in January. Since joining Gent two seasons ago from Slovakian side AS Trencin, Kalu has improved tremendously with 10 goals and 16 assists in the 47 matches he has played since his move to the club. ” He is off in the summer to a French Ligue 1 team. The deal is as good as done from what I’m hearing. As a matter of fact Gent are already in the market for a new wing forward and they prefer a Nigerian”, Owngoalnigeria.com transfer expert Daniel Martins revealed. ” The transfer fee could be in the region of 8-10 million Euros with a particular percentage due to his former side AS Trencin. Gent will also demand a sell on clause in his deal when he moves to the Ligue 1 “. |
Southgate won't like this because he didn't like the idea when this kid was first invited Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham, Man City Enter Race For QPR's Nigerian Prodigy Published: April 08, 2018 Four Premier League clubs have joined the race for the services of talented Nigerian striker Eberechi Eze, according to reports. The Queens Park Rangers wonderkid in being courted by multiple topflight clubs thanks to a string of fine displays for the Championship side, and The Sun's print edition is now reporting that Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester City sent scouts to QPR's 4-1 win against Norwich City on Monday. Eze did not disappoint the scouts in attendance at Loftus Road Stadium as he was among the four players that wrote their names on the score-sheet, his second league goal for the London team. Representatives from Crystal Palace and Brighton and Hove Albion were also in the stands to run the rule over the 19-year-old offensive all-rounder. Eze will enter the final twelve months of his contract with Queens Park Rangers in July, and it is thought he would be offered a new deal to fend off interest from the Premier League giants or they may decide to sell him at the right price. Last year, he was in line to make his debut for the Super Eagles at the age of 18, only for the friendly against Burkina Faso to be called off. Born in London, Eze played for the youth teams of Arsenal, Fulham and Millwall before he was acquired by QPR in the summer of 2016. |
Oasis007:Lol but u just did. Dude I'm no fan of Simon's style of play, those who like his style and hence try to be little Kalu are Simon's fan boys ![]() |
Kalu once again, doing what he knows how best to do week in week out. Lol Moses Simon's fan boys won't like this ![]() |
I have always wanted to ask this question. What did Aluko do wrong that our coaches tend to neglect him? That guy IMHO is really an asset especially now that we having a dearth of attacking midfielders. He still has age on his side and always on top of his game every weekend. He has overcome his injury woes. He never underperformed the few times he wore the GWG and he adores the National team. I'm tired of seeing our midfield collapse whenever Mikel ain't there (subbed off), please Rohr should bring back Aluko because he is exactly what this team needs at the moment. My heart aches whenever I see Agu doing those craps he does in the name of a midfielder |
forgiveness:Please show me where Raba Maja was listed in Sunderland match day squad in the EPL |
tbaba1234:Too bad. I had high hopes on him |
tbaba1234:Championship? I doubt. Hello Southgate ur help is needed here |
After winning the U20 wordcup with the young lions, how far have the careers of the Anglo Nigerian members of that squad improved? Seems the noise has suddenly died down |
Whatever happened to Viv Solomon-Otabor |
When is Yahaya gonna break into Porto first team? He's taking too long to take that step. I av even started doubting his abilities, just hope he proves me wrong. |
Please what happened to Boluwatife Balogun of Barcelona B? |
Safarigirl e be like say Rohr go hand a call up to ur crush Dessers when the list is finally released |
goldfish80:Ah ah nah sir goldfish80, at 25 Chidi is still one for the future? The same guy that was released by Braga. He was good at dolphins of PH and the 2013 Ogbu led U20 team. He might turn out a late bloomer but...I comment my reserve. |
When is Rohr releasing the list? |
forgiveness:How many professional seasons did Raba Maja and Joel Asoro play before u started clamoring for them? Lol we don't forget easily bro ![]() |
forgiveness:You know say u na my man, so talk true first so that I go know say I dey discuss with a man of integrity when I go begin answer ur qstn |
forgiveness:Talk true bro, u and Southgate never knew he was a Nigerian. |
Eze should be given a call up for that number 10 role in our next friendlies though not majorly with Russia in sight. We need make him have that sense of belonging. That kid is good. But if he makes most of the opportunity, wow I just want a creative midfield in the absence Mikel pre Russia, in Russia and post Russia. |
Joebie:Joebie my guy, thanks. I actually wanted Southgate to bring out these starts himself. Just look who he is clamoring for ahead of Omeruo and Uduokhai? God have mercy |
