Romance › Re: I Quit Being A Nice Guy by chrismex(m): 11:35am On Dec 15, 2019 |
victorian: It's true.
I understand where u are coming from.
That's why I'm always reluctant accepting money favours from guys I know I won't date or marry.
If doling out money to me, means u want sex or marriage, and probably I don't find the guy attractive, no chemistry whatsoever. Then it's no use. Keep your money.
I had an accident with my leg, last year. It was not healing after series of drugs and injections. A guy on my neighbourhood wanted to help me by bringing his own doctor to check my leg and he was ready to pay for everything, with continuous dressing of the wounds but on one condition. He's in love and wants to marry me.
But to me, I see him as a friend, I have no feelings at all for this guy. And I know he's a kind guy but unfortunately I don't see myself waking up everyday seeing his face first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Even when. He wanted to hug me, I felt repulsed. And he notice. Then he said look Vicky, I know I'm not a dashing handsome man and I know I'm not the ugliest man on earth, neither will I be the only man with an ugly face. But please I sincerely love you, lemme help you with this leg.
I was holding back my laugh, as I winced in pains. I sighed and I replied : I cannot marry you. I'm sorry. If you want to help me with this leg, fine but don't expect marriage. He sighed and said he will still help. His doctor checked my leg and prescribed some expensive drugs to take and dressing thrice a week until it heals. I calculated everything, the money was much. The next day I sent his nurse away And told him not to worry. Cause he's already calling me his wife. Which I don't want to even imagine, how much more to hear it from his lips.
Thank God I have my own money but it wasn't enough at that time , So my dearest Funmi came to my rescue, out of the blues to see me and footed most of the bills, without asking me for sex or marriage or anything. She's a female like me and she's no lesbian. But she paid for everything , even though she's a corper and a nairalander
So that's life. We can't have sex with all our helpers in life! Nice one I wish girls can learn from this, what is the point of collecting gift and favour from a guy you don't intend dating, yes I know the economy is really bitting hard on us, but when you see such kind of favour gift while not make it clear to the guy, that you are not interested and save yourself your dignity. |
Romance › Re: I'm In A State Of Confusion Right Now...don't Know How To Get Out Of It. by chrismex(m): 6:34pm On Dec 10, 2019 |
Dear I feel for you, because this is the hardest part been a lady, not to make the wrong choice.
My advice is try give your boyfriend trust. Watch him closely, you said his mum likes you, try to be close with the mum to help you caution him.
There is a saying that "A man knows where his heart belongs". I believe your boyfriend loves you that's why his open and transparent with you.but not withstanding you need to protect what is yours. Just give him some space give him trust. Don't let those ex get to your head because it will really mess your head up, try act like it's nothing don't bring any issues concerning the ex. then watch his attitude and actions towards you.
Don't be to hurry to rush back to your ex there was a reason you broke up in the first place, you really need wisdom here if not, you might mess up everything . Please still find someone close (mother or big sister). To share your problems
God help you make the best choice. |

Romance › Re: I cheated, Deep Down I'm In Pains. by chrismex(m): 12:52pm On Nov 10, 2019 |
AdeeT:

I've betrayed her trust, I have really hurt her, I wish that I could undo all I've done. But it's too late, and I'm reek of guilt, it's all over me.
I just cheated on a beautiful lady that has stayed with me through thick and thin for years, a wonderful soul that anyone would dream to have. Cheating might be a common thing, but the moment you cheat on a pure soul, an innocent woman that gives you all, WITH HER BEST FRIEND, then it's beyond cheating.
I am charming, good looking working class guy, guys and girls easily comment how good looking I am, my fiancee is so proud of me, and my achievements that she easily shows me off at the slightest opportunity. She attended the same Uni with her friend, and ever since then, they've been a very good friend. They even served at the same place(worked out), to show you how close they her.
Now my fiancee works in the southern Nigeria, we planned to seal things up next year, and live together here in Abuja. Her friend came for a job interview here, and my woman advised that she rather stay with me for the period instead of her spending a lot on hotel accommodations since I live alone in a bedroom flat. I obliged, and she came down here, little did I know that things would get messy. Long story cut short, I fell in to her seduction the second night of her staying after some series of events. We ended up having sex couples of time before she left. I feel terrible now, though she felt nothing, I can't even flow well with my woman on phone again, guilt is all over me. I don't know how I will stand her whenever we meet. Of all girls in the world, she's the least anyone would want to cheat on.
I'm thinking of telling her. Mind you guys, I'm not a weakling, I've never been one. Before I met her some 3 years back, I was on the other end of life. She changed a lot for good for me, and helped stop many bad things, as well as starting several good ones. I don't know what her reaction would be after telling her. Her friend still communicates with her as if nothing happened.
I'm in pain guys. A serious one. I need advices. Sorry this may hurt but you are a weakling, if all you did love this lady the way you wrote here, you won't go ahead doing it for more than ones. Yes we are prone to temptation, but you had sex the first time and you continued continued untill she left before you started feeling guilty, I'm not judging you, shit happens but I want to clear you that you are a weakling. If not. the love you claim you have for your woman would have stopped you, even if it didn't the first time, it should have stopped after that first sex you had. Solution: you have to tell her, find some of your closest friends to be around or her siblings if you relate well with any.you just have to tell her no need to delay it. It's left for her to forgive forget and be with you or move on. I pray she forgives you and give you another chance. Las Las we are all human beings we are prone to temptation,. |
Romance › Re: My 5 Year Old Relationship Ended Just Like That by chrismex(m): 10:32am On Nov 04, 2019 |
Mcslize: It's your fault. Most of you ladies like forming champion even when you love a guy, always waiting for the guy to be the one to reach out to you. Common checking on a guy you're in a relationship with, you girls can't reach out to the person you claimed you love. How many times do you reach out to him? How many times do you check on him if he is still alive? Do you know what he has been passing through? Are you aware of his worries? Do you call him to find out how life is treating him?
Relationship is two ways directions. It is reciprocal. Don't always sit on the fence waiting for your man to reach out to you before you reach out to him. Don't always wait for your man to reach out to you before finding out how life is treating him. Majority of you girls don't know how to care for a man. We men want to be shown love too.
The only thing that will make a man to stop talking to you is if you are just there contributing nothing to his life. But you want him to keep chasing you, professing unrealistic love to you while sitting right there folding your hands. No text, no call and you expect the man to waste his time with you. No way.
The only thing that will make someone you've spent 5 years with to stop talking to you is because you as a lady is not playing your role. You are not reaching out to him to check on him as often as you should for someone who truly wants to build a future with a man. He sees that you are just there always wanting him to be the one to do all the communications and building of the relationship. Don't blame the gentle man.
He must have found someone else who is doing all that you are not doing for him. What does it take to communicate with your man and always get involved in his life? It takes nothing - absolutely nothing. But you girls will be feeling like Queens of the coast putting all the work of maintaining a relationship on a man without doing nothing.
Do you truly expect such a man to choose you as a partner? What makes men choose women for wives is how supportive they are to men. Men choose women for life partner based on how supportive they can be to them.
In those days we see supportive fiancées and that makes men take such ladies for wives cuz they are supportive and not parasitics. They give good advice to their men and encourage them to attain higher feats in life. If a man do not see you as the supportive type, he will surely not take you seriously.
Brace yourself up and move on my sister. When you see the next man, learn how to fully get involved in his life. It will make make a man see you as the serious type. You really made a point. Most women don't know this. I don't agree with you on judging the lady, we don't know who's fault it is. No, matter what happened even if the lady was at fault let's assume, she still has the right to know where she faulted, you don't just act like that, if you are done tell her, let her know this is someone you shared something with you don't treat your partner like garbage. I can't believe staying 5 years with someone all of a sudden you stop all communication with your partner just like that, it is really childish and immature . Except he is been held with a voodoo power over there. |

Romance › Re: Is It Proper That My Girlfriend Still Gets Help From Her Ex? by chrismex(m): 6:30am On Oct 30, 2019 |
First of all you need to define your relationship, to what extent is the relationship going. Are you guys started planning the future together or you are still trying if it will work.
After asking yourself that question and answer it sincerely from your inner most heart, than this is my own suggestion.
1. If your answer is both of you are planning for the future you see yourself as couple, do things that will benfit you both, start planning on how to save for the future together , if this is how you see each other. Call her to order, raise the issue of settling down with her atleast you both are into business. Like you said, Discuss this things with her. change her mindset, define the relationship more to her , let her know it's not just boyfriend girlfriend. with this, then watch her reaction you know her more than I do. With her reaction you know her stand. If she stands with you my brother try and do something on her head(dowery) and follow up the ex case seriously, even I believe if she stand for you after having this talk she will love you more and desist from her ex, .if stands against you be a man and leave that relationship.
2. If you know you are just dating and still under this quote "let's see where it will lead" my dear it shouldn't bother you that she ask her ex boyfriend for money, the same way you are not her father in trying to pay her bills is the same way you don't have authority over her, you are just dating if you feel you can't cope leave or enjoy the union while it last.
Don't also spend all you have just to please her save for your future the way she is asking her ex for help of a job, is the same way you should put securing your future to come as your priority.
This life sometimes we just bring things that should not be issues to weigh us down. when you understand life you always be happy with your soul |

geosegun: You may never realized the gravity of the feeling you stated above until when you are older and passed menopause.? Then reality will be dawned on you. By that time it may be already late to turn back the hand of time. I am aware of a lady, she used to work with BBC, , no husband, no child and life became so boring to her to the extent that she became depressed and having memories issues. Just at about 55yrs yrs now and taken to a care home, I mean at 50+? She keeps lamenting every now and then that she got no one.
I can bet when she was younger, she was probably saying what you are saying now and defending it until reality dawn on her and she start experiencing boredom. Most will not tell youvthier regrets, people are only eager to share their successes and not failures. My dear, I will advise you rebuke every thought of singleton in your life. Men forget it. There is no better life than being in a blissful marriage with wonderful children for they are the inheritance of the lord. The proverb says, happy is the one that have is house full of children. Do not allow one faceless bitter woman to mislead you.
All the very best If her wish is granted. she get a loving partner that have the same ideology with her my dear there is nothing to regret, who told you that everyone that gave birth ripe the fruit of there children. Some there child end up been the one to kill them, you just have to understand life know what you want, what will make you happy. Kids are wonderful to have. The main thing is companionship either from your partner or kids. I don't see any reason of regret here kids can cause pain too. All we want is the little time we have on earth should be a memorable one either with kids without kids or been single. |

Also flee from the copy trading u just described. I have also tried it and my account was blown. The money the trader has in his account may be bigger than urs, so if a trade goes bad ur account will blow up BT cos the trader has more money or puts more money, his own will remain b4 the trade reverses. Also, b4 u say one is a good trader, check his one year performance.

Elijahrona: You're pessimistic, you have no hope for the country again. For me, I remain optimistic and hopeful... My positive mindedness and thoughts are enough to keep trying. You should try to remain hopeful too.
BTW you can always start a business without borrowing... Start as small as you can and build up. You must not start big or on a medium scale. Sure am hopeful and optimistic on my dreams and goals but hope for this country no I don't. There is nothing to be hopeful in this country. When you hope on something you keep expecting more from it. My hope is on me my family my dreams and goals. We are on our own in this country the early we know the better. The country has failed. I'm happy you still believe in the country as for me I don't. There are two type of people that still believe in Nigeria 1. The ones that don't have source or financial capability to leave this country so they don't have choice than to accept and believe. 2. The ones that have everything but are ready to fight for the masses. This are the ones that really believe in Nigeria. You should know that the government does not believe in this country it might sound stupid but that's the fact. For me now is when I wake up I pray go out for the days hustle, always vigilant, after hustle get home as early as possible. Go out when necessary, spend on needs until, I get better chance of leaving the country. As of now we are our own pilot. As of what you said starting business small and also starting without borrowing. I guess you are not into business. I would have love to break it down for you but it would be long epistle. All in all let God keep blessing our hustle protect and guide us. As we continue to survive in this country. |

wacuc0: I totally agree with you. Here in Nigeria we want Government to carry all our burdens. Lack of investment by Nigerians is killing us. Even those that do invest, it is mostly for money grabbing not entrepreneurship. Ask, how many Nigerian owned business have seen next generation.
Abiola empire collapsed, Ibru, Igbinedion, Chidiebere Transport, Inyang Ete, name them. Hardly any business in Nigeria is run with cooperate identity. We have one of the highest idle money in the world. It can never generate employment. Our idea of education is looking for job which is a negative approach, this will make the sectors or our economy not to be developed while waiting for government. Thank God the music industry took it upon themselves to push on. Now they are the 3rd most branded music in the world. Do the same in textile, sports, agriculture (this is trying), Education, Health, IT, Medicine (this is the worst, almost all hospitals and clinics are owned by one doctor), Pharmaceutical, Banking (Soludo tried to teach us cooperate business in banking through merger and acquisition).
It pains so bad when you go to western countries you see companies of over 100years. You see people 4,5 and 6 joining hand and pulling fund to establish businesses that will run in over 150 countries. Why cant Nigerians do this. How many Aba shoe manufacturing young boys has teamed up to put up an enviable outfit to aim at having international presence in 100 countries. Very impossible. No body is telling the government to spoon feed the citizens. You mention of people not investing in country have you asked why. What is the meaning of government. Why is it cheap to refine crude outside the country than in our country. Why is imported goods cheaper than local made. Why is it so easy to import but very very difficult and complicating to export. Is all this fault of the citizens? Government is everything you need to understand the characteristics of government. |

Elijahrona: Now that the government has failed and proven to be unreliable, you as a citizen why not think of what you can do without them? You are funny . Is it collecting loan with high interest and starting up a little provision store. At the end of the day the business would crash because of too much credit from your customers (who are mainly salary earners been owe for 3 to 6 month salary). My dear if Nigerian where not thinking and struggling without government help Nigeria would have been like Syria long time ago do you think an average Nigeria care about government.
