TRCN portal, update their profile with their existing certificate or license details, and carefully follow the provided instructions to successfully transition to the new digital system.

The Rivers State government is yet to make its position known on the new national minimum wage of N35, 000 for workers announced by the Federal Government.

Though the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media, Boniface Onyedi, neither picked several calls or responded to a text message to his phone by our reporter, a source at Government House who did not want his name in print, said: “It is too early to seek the state government’s reaction to the decision.”

“There are 36 states in Nigeria. How many of them have reacted to the new wage award so far? It is just too early and I am confident that the governor will come up with something the workers will be proud of.”

He expressed confidence that the “state government will work for the overall happiness of workers by looking into their welfare.”

The source explained that the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, in the state would meet with state and local government workers to intimate them of the latest development, adding that there was need to find out the position of workers on the decision reached between the federal government and organized labour.

Do you have Master degree, if yes that is why you're probabbly on L12 step 5... If not then probably the government has given everyone of us a step up. Somebody here has already posted that people on level 8 step 4 priviously will be on level 12 step 7 those on level 8 step 3 will be on Level 12 step 6.

Alsa! Some one on level 8/4 is now level 12/5 let us hope our steps has indeed increased by one.

What I saw against my name was level 12 step 4.
My colleagues without education degree were placed on level 12 step 3.

Uzodinma approves free medical care for Imo workers

Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has approved free medical care for workers in the state’s civil service as part of the state’s Social Health Insurance Scheme.

Mr Uzodinma gave the approval at a town hall meeting he held with top management staff of the Imo Civil Service in Owerri on Tuesday.

The governor said the gesture was part of efforts to ensure that civil servants in the state remained healthy and well-positioned to carry out their duties.

He added that over 47,000 verified workers in the state would be part of the scheme.

Mr Uzodinma, therefore, directed the state’s Ministry of Health to get all verified workers into the free medical
