Can you read?, he said that Africa is the second largest continent in the world
Ok I have seen it... Thanks anyway
Politics › Re: 22 Facts About Africa You Should Know by christejames(m):
Fact: Africa has the largest desert in the world, It regularly snows in some part of Africa. Africa is made up of other countries outside the continent e.g. Sao tome, Seychelles, Mauritius, cape Verde etc. The largest species of plant on earth is found in the rainforest belt of the continent, the continent is the conglomeration of all the races in the world. A country in Africa (Nigeria) is the only country in the whole world that has contained the world dreaded virus (Ebola)... LOL!!!
Politics › Re: 22 Facts About Africa You Should Know by christejames(m): 10:02pm On Oct 20, 2014
Africa is not the largest continent in the world, its Asia---do you know the major parts Russia (the largest country in the world) is in Asia? Talk more of large countries like China and India (sub-continent) which are also part of Asia. Btw, nice thread.

Ebonyi
I bet it, you have never visited the state before cause if you have u would agree with the OP on Kogi state (you might not have visited it either). @OP, I agree with you on kogi state, the state is so underdevelope just like her neighboring state Benue, I don't know whether the guvnors are just figureheads, figurines or effigy of government. That of Benue has been owing workers salaries for months, state tertiary institutions have been on strike going to a year now, no physical project since his inception of office... The state is just in comatose.

Enugu and Lagos are located on thesame latitude, that shows that the eastern part of southern Nigeria is more southern than its western counterpart.

Politics › Re: Support My Son If God Makes Him Governor — Jonah Jang by christejames(m): 2:44pm On Oct 15, 2014
"If its the will of God let it be" ...and you are indirectly campaigning for ur son? Some Nigerian politician are so daft (sorry to say), does he think that that government office is equivalent to a king's palace or are we now practicing monarchy system of government, where government is hereditary? We should not invite the wrath of God upon this nation by always referring to his name even if we are wrong.

You're not wrong; the sweeper women approach their work with great commitment, as though their lives depended on it (or may be it does!)
I live in Umuahia, so I know.
But Umuahia's white gritty surface sand also has a decided advantage over Enugu's red pasty earth. Even if unswept (Umuahia), you'd barely even notice.

PS: But I'd like you or biafrandream to explain how accumulating particles of sand on the sides of a road can cause it to fail. Or, is it something made-up, much like telling young girls that if they were to 'touch' boys literally, they'd get pregnant actually. smiley Or, the more sinister "if you disobey your parents, your children will disobey you" smiley
let me give an insight into the question, when sediments from runoff accumulates on the road for too long it would stick to the asphalt. Continuous heat from sun would make it to expand and contract coupled with trampling from vehicle tyres (cause the accumulated sediments have become bumps already) would then create cracks, fissures and crevices which leads to the wearing down of the asphalt nay road. Water solution (in this case rain) can contribute to wearing of the road, accumulated sediments (already stuck together) which have created dent on the road would allow deposited water on the dent not to spillaway, thereby causing wears and tears on the road. ...my little knowledge of geomorphology explained it, Igboson can agree or refute my assertions. Deje!!

Politics › Re: Fr Mbaka Backs Ekweremadu To Return To Senate! by christejames(m): 7:50pm On Oct 12, 2014
To be honest Ekweremadu is a rare gem, the man that extend physical projects not only to his senatorial district but to other zones in S.E, especially Nsukka. That man is just a blessing to Ndigbo and Nigeria in general, a legal luminary, he deserve our votes if at all he would contest. Sullivan is a good man also but in this case experience counts!

can you speed on bad roads ? Pls give an honest answer.

In fact, can you speed and have a fatal accident on a bad road ?
is like you haven't met Nigerian fast drivers before, they drive rough both on smooth on rough road. Actually I am saying that the accident was caused by the bad road, but majority of accidents on our road is due to bad roads and negligence on the part of our fast drivers.

The op said "the cause of the accident is not yet known buh people believe speeding coulda been a factor", op never said it was the accident ws caused by the government or bad road, must you blame government on everything biko? What if they were drunk or sth? What if ajo mmuo was behind that accident? Guy ichagokwa anya?

To the dead, RIP
nna achagom anya oooo, from the pix u could see the deplorable state of the road in the background. But I'm not blaming the government rather letting them know the fate of our major roads which also contribute to such accident. Thanks nwanne!
