somehow: No. Except a new CBN governor is appointed and he or she changes the current monetary policy being practised, I don't see much effect on the naira rate.
The naira is currently being controlled, not a free market system,so a change of government if ever won't affect rate instantly but can affect stocks and shares. Thank you bro |

somehow: Then you're obviously not financially wise if you believed a new government economic policy is to have an effect in the market that early.
What happened was a shock (spike) which mostly happen due to uncertainty in the market. If you are asked, do you think the FX will plummet after the election? Would you advise one to convert business money to $ now? |

Troy365: Hello Everyone, Finally, the day has come to give my testimony , Got my Visa after a very long, nerve racking process. Below is a summary of my timeline.
Admission letter : 25th October Then came the hustle for interview date . Finally got a date in Dec. Interview date: 18th Dec. I did not post my transcript here cause it’s like repeating same thing for the 600th time. (sorry about that) Then came the long wait, most pple who did interview after me got their AM. At a point I con turn “Chaplin for church oh” as in I almost felt forsaken. “Brethren” and “sistren” in my opinion, this is the hardest part of the whole process. I suddenly knew the total number of mails I get per day, and the time they arrive. The most offensive one was Jum1a , always asking me to “come and buy”, “come and buy” I almost unsubscribed sef . Anyway after 36 long days of anticipation. It finally arrived. A.M : 23rd Jan. My pple. As soon as I saw the mail, I first opened my fridge to drink a very big bottle of stout . In fact lemme nor lie I cancelled work for the day to recover from all d stress. I quickly went to the embassy the next day to deposit my passport oh. “So they don’t change their mind” lool. At this time all my comrades we started this journey together had gotten their Visa. And they all said mine should be ready after 4 days. So as a good boi, I waited oh. To my greatest surprise day 4 came and went, so did 5 and 6. Hmm By the 7th day I could not wait anymore. All the yellow Okada in lagos started looking like DHL in my eye . As in Anytime a yellow Okada pass me, I almost want to stop the guy and say. “Na me, na me u Dey find” . Well las las, the delivery man called me to say he’s at my office gate. what a relief I quietly walked out to pick it up. Passport returned : 31st Jan. I still could not process the whole story till I got home. I give all the Glory to God Almighty and all the people here who make out time from their busy schedule to ans Questions here. Special thanks to @heybaby who told me to “chill” while I was already worked up over the waiting game. May God bless u all. And for everyone at different stages. From “Admission” to “interview” to “A.M” down to passport return and final entry into DE. May the Good Lord Grant us all Our heart desires. I’ll keep in touch to update as my journey goes and assist where i can.
“Danke” Congrats, I think is safe to tell yourself AM is 6 weeks, that's 42 days to reduce the heart tension Heybaby12 is really very resourceful to many here, God bless her. Oga go and succeed in DE, we d ur back |

emrain: Losers will always find it convenient to blame everyone but themselves. It has always been all man for himself. If you're lucky to have people supporting you, then count it as a privilege, not an entitlement. That's why the society is the way it is, everyone is selfish, greedy and wicked. In a saner clime, is not the same mentality, your government and parents has a responsibility towards you especially when you are starting up |
Christianity Etc › Re: I Hate My Parents So Much, No Atom Of Love For Them by Chriswazo(m): 3:58pm On Jan 29, 2019 |
MrHandsome2013: I hate them so much. the reason for the hate is cos they allowed me to wallowed in depression and loneliness to the extent that i wasted so many years staying indoor.. They went about telling people that i am mentally unstable.. I question them why i look different from my siblings who have normal body stature.. all my class mates are married and have good jobs.. They destroyed my happiness and they want me to let them be.. Never. look at me in my late twenties, no achievement. The so called mother that calls herself deaconess in the church never cared..that is why i stopped going to church... i have decleared war on them... I have/had a similar experience, I will tell you this. The reason you are still alive now is because you have "hope that tomorrow will be better, other than that many of us would have just killed ourselves. I will advise you not to let go of that hope, hold onto it and it will reproduce in your life. Secondly, Don't compare yourself with another man. If I do this, I will just hate myself. I listened to a radio program one day like that and there was a sister that was narrating how hard her life has been and the challenges so far, I didn't even realize that I was sobbing already despite the fact I was before then, worried about my life etc. Do you know what! That lady left a lasting mark on me, it was time for her to round up, she now said, " even with all these my difficulties and sufferings, am still grateful for everything because she knows there are over a million people in the world she is far better than, they wish to even live with the same level of difficulties she had". This statement hit me hard, I cried profusely for not being grateful for what I had. If you listen to her radio conversation, you will cry, even the moderator confessed that tears filled their eyes. Bro such is life, life is not easy, it calls for bravery etc. Don't worry about people that are leaving or shunning you just because you are in the valley of life, nothing last for long, change is only the constant factor. Push on sir, we don come this life be say we don come, we must strive for our desires, Las Las we go d alright or we no go regret cos we know say we tried our best. I have no comment about your relationship with your parents, is ur decision to make. |

- Losing my job was the wake up call I needed. I was depressed for some months (still comes and goes) and I would lie in bed until noon. I have always been independent so losing my job was like being stripped naked, I didn’t want to go out or be seen. My younger brother called me and encouraged me to continue with the Canada immigration plan (I had already registered with WES). I will never forget his words, approach this thing like you’re escaping for your life, like someone is trying to strangle you and you must fight. Am touched, awwwwww! Congrats |

No one will be spare in this anti corruption fight, we can't have a criminal as CJN. Even those in APC will still be dealt with.
It is only Buhari that can pull this through, the nation will be sanitize and more democratic leader will take over, but right now Nigeria need someone that is strong headed and with iron fist to fix this corruption that has form the foundation of this country.
Nigeria will be save. You wrote as if you have sense but completely devoid of reasoning, in short, you are brainsick. |
