cstr100: The man is at fault here too for allowing himself to be deceived. There are behaviours my child must never exhibit. Physical Features that would immediately put a doubt into his paternity. Nigerian women have been adjudged the most unfaithful in the world. Any sensible Nigerian husband should covertly run all his children through DNA analysis. It doesn't have to happen all at once. Love should not erode common-sense. Exactly! All my father's children have certain traits that we all picked from him and from all 15,no one is an exception. Just that some of us have either all, or some of these traits. From allergies, to way of talking, to looks, etc. We all have a particular kind of allergy that is hereditary and all react to it the same way. That is just one. At times when one of us does something, others would laugh and say "na once dem go know say na ur papa born you". |

lastpage: The Child has no hand in this.... he is faultless! he should not be punished for a crime he has no-hand in committing! That Child is as good as any of the biological children of the man (except he chooses otherwise) and should inherit him....as long as his real father does not show face or he attempts to relate with him as "Father & Son" in which case, he loses the fatherhood of the one that raised him.
It is the Woman that committed the sin and should be severely punished, by both the man and the child. She should be gassed ASAP.
Lastpage! I get your point but you see, if I'm adopting a child, I'd know I'm adopting the child. But to train another man's child and now be told after 32 years he ain't my child? Naah. The pain and agony won't make me will my estate to him. One thing you must understand, a man would always look for his biological father... |

I tell you. No wonder some men treat them like trash. That a person can boldly cover such a thing, or supports covering such a thing, shows that that person is evil personified. No conscience at all. I wish life was such that before you meet a person in real life, you must have studied their posts on the cyber world... One wouldn't even get near certain people. Organs: Imagine what this one is saying here? and you have 27 likes?? You are more wicked than the woman and your heart is evil if you can keep a secret like this and take this huge lie to the grave. Stop going to church/Mosque oh, you have no fear of God. Unless and until you sit down come to terms with yourself and do what is right with God even though it might cause you pain so, if you lied somewhere in your past or took someones property etc, do right and return everything or go and tell the truth even though it might change so many things, else, my broda on the day of judgement you will pay big time cos nothing is hidden before God. |

TellMeTheTruth: So what did she achieve by telling him? It's heartbreaking but it would afford the man the opportunity to salvage what is left of his life. At least, he would will his estate to the child/children that are biologically his, or to his relatives or charity. At least, he won't suffer the misfortune of labouring all his life to train a child that is not his own, and still leaving an estate for that child which the child can in future, put the wicked mother in charge of, or use her as his next of kin.... |

Xcelinteriors: That woman is very wicked. There are some secret that are not meant to reveal no matter what happen. She should have taken that secret to grave instead of hurting the man because she knew the man is not the real father . You ma, are even more wicked than the woman in question. May God help your future husband. The Bible says "for ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free ". The truth is the ultimate, no matter what. If you can't tell the truth irrespective of the consequences, then, you do not deserve respect or honor. |

musabayokanu: If you think giving a 2.1 graduate, who knows economic and statistics well 2m naira which is not a problem to you to add to her 1.5m making it 3.5m as a start up capital and you feel your sister who is a graduate of economic won't sustain it then hide her 2.1 and her being a graduate part of it.
See at one time or the other we face challenges in life, all we do is take a step 5x5, readjust ourselves and move on. Being from middle family with all those exposure crap does not hold waters here. When you have small money, you cut your coat according to your size, but when you don't money to buy that coat, which ever one u have u cut it according to the available material.
Middle class and all ur exposure in life keep it aside and forge on. If na self contained she can rent, if na simple cheap one bedroom flat she can also rent. Knowing too well that she wants to pick up her life again.
Spare us some details in all this ur bug girl talk, u call someone earning 150k a month in her previous job a well paid job ?? Smh
Bottom line is if you want her quit her husband, be ready to fix and stop all this big girl talk. When you marry you will realise how difficult it is to quit ur matrimonial home......I'm sure you are Igbo and u know is a big Haram in Igbo land according to my igbo friends I agree with you. I think she and her sister aren't ready to think out of the box yet. That's why she's giving excuses. I don't know why anybody who wants to run a successful business in this recession, would be thinking of going to open a boutique(a biz that deals with wants), when she can successfully run a fmcg biz(that deal with daily needs). A lot of people fail in business cos they don't do feasibility studies... It isn't just enough for a person to be a graduate. You must be innovative and think what others aren't thinking. But most women like to get involved with the lazy man kind of business idea and that's what makes them fail. When the economy was good, by now most of my clients would have been thinking of changing cars for their spouses but hey, that isn't the case now as people are beginning to manage a lot. Yes, people need clothes but trust me, it won't be an immediate need to them as such. With the 3.5m(her 2m and sister's 1.5m),she can comfortably start a business that deals with fmcg (soap, foods, food stuffs, etc). Children must eat, babies must change diapers, people must wash clothes, etc. Items that people consume on a daily basis, are things she should venture in, that can bring steady turnover. Not some lousy boutique business. It's unfortunate she married a dog who can't keep his sick in one place. My younger sister was almost married to her fiance last year and the moment she started talking about his cheating tendency, I lost interest in the relationship and when she broke up with the dude(after introduction) and my parents were trying to talk me into making efforts to get them back, I vehemently refused. If a full grown adult cannot use his head in a relationship, the person should better stay single. It's one thing to make a mistake, and it's another thing to continually be irresponsible. I take the issue of infidelity in marriage/relationship, very personal. |
