Two foolish children. If only she knew her the news of her kidnap would have hit the parents. What if one of them had died out of shock and the trauma that their daughter was kidnapped? Irresponsible couple to be. These are the type that breed criminals in the society. |

Romance › Re: Successful Career Ladies Have Suffered - My Experience by chronique(m): 1:00am On Jan 25, 2015 |
This is bad and embarrassing. As a guy,I like to respect myself very well. The only money I've ever collected from a lady I'm dating,is 5k and that was because I wanted to send baby sis money urgently that day(she gave me by herself. When we eventually broke up,that 5k kept hunting me up and down like I killed someone. I started feeling very bad. No matter how much I love a lady again,I'd never allow such a thing happen again. How most guys get to collect money from ladies,is still a mystery to me. If the dude in question is your bf,no problem. But when he is someone who you haven't even said yes to,it becomes embarrassing. robedu: A NEW HUZZLING WAYS HAS EMERGED FOR BAD AND LAZY GUYS
I don't know if other successful career ladies do come across this clowns, it's quite funny.
So some guys find out that you are successful as a lady, instead of carrying guns to rob they want to pass through your heart.
Have had few experiences but the one of today makes me laugh so hard(please note i am not saying career ladies dont find love oo, real love everywhere but i cannot understand why some silly ones do this).
So i just met this guy in a friends wedding, i was the MC, he was one of the grooms men, we've known each other for sometimes now but we have never talked.
So he used the opportunity at the wedding to get my number and we took the conversation to whatsapp, before we could say jack, he has proclaim all the love in the world, how he had always loved me, how he had always wish we were together etc.
Just three weeks into the discussion, i have not even accepted to be his girl friend, i told him i will think and pray about it but we kept on chatting sha and he always proclaim this love like he's serious lol.
On Tuesday, the bloody banking hall stroller (na banker e talk say e be na) came to me to say he want to buy a car, i should tell him how i bought mine, i redirected him to Elizade where i got mind and he started saying i should ask for pricing, i told him i cant go pricing cars when i am not the driver that he should walk into Elizade shop and make his findings. (Nairalanders that was just this monday oo).
Today, Oga banker came to me with several emails on my whatsapp and fb chat, sending me crying sticker, i ask what happened, he said he made a mistake in office so his boss gave him a query, transfer all the money from his account to his customer account he made the mistake on, so he is so broke and his mother just called he should send her a little money and her sis in Togo just called that he should send her Tfair back to Nigeria.
I said eyaa.. take it easy oo.
He said, now he is left with no option than to go and borrow one lady who works at a UBA bank close to his own bank Union Bank, i said good if she will give you, he said yes na, she will give him cos the lady has been disturbing him to have sex with her and date her, so she will fly over the opinion, i said ok, if that is ok by you.
The next thing he said, he wont go borrowing from the lady again, that she will disturb and force him to sleep with her if he does, i said ok good thought, he then said CAN YOU PLEASE BORROW ME 50K TO SOLVE THIS URGENT ISSUES I WILL GIVE YOU BACK ON FRIDAY WHEN MY BOSS RELEASE MY MONEY BACK TO MY ACCOUNT OR WHEN XMAS BONUS IS PAID.
LAUGH WON KILL ME FOR HERE I DEY
I TOLD HIM, YOU HAD BETTER GO AND ASK THE UBA STAFF THAT MAY GIVE YOU, BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE A KOBO TO GIVE OUT TO YOU. ALL MY BUDGE IS FIXED |

Nigerians prefer foreign made clothes to locally made ones of same quality,
Nigerians prefer foreign made shoes to locally made ones of same quality,
Nigerians prefer foreign made cars to locally made ones,
Nigerians prefer foreign made furnitures to locally made ones of same quality,
Nigerians prefer foreign made drugs to locally made ones of same quality,
Nigerians prefer foreign made vegetable oil and butter,to locally made ones of same quality,
Nigerians prefer foreign grown rice and flour,to locally made ones of same quality,
Nigerians prefer foreign made bedsheet, plates and cooking utensils,to locally made ones of same quality...
Nigerians prefer anything that is foreign made,to the ones that are locally made and when govt tries to place a ban on these items, they kick against it. Yet they keep blaming govt for the weak currency. How do you guys want to have a strong currency, when you spend nearly all your forex in funding importation? Everybody wants to go into the business of importing cos it's easier to make quick and big gains this way. At the end of the day,we end up blowing away our forex and this in turn affects the reserves as we would need to keep using our reserves to defend the naira. What type of magic are we expecting?
How many of you would boldly buy a Nigerian made shirt, when there's a gucci in the same store? Until we learn to support indigeneous companies and stop all these unnecessary importation,we'd keep having a weak currency. Look at the auto industry. It's gotten so bad that almost everybody is now an importer or a car dealer. People just buy all manner of junks and ship into naija. Yahoo boys with stolen funds can buy a car and ship into naija with a landing cost of 5m and sell same car for 3m. That automatically runs down business for a genuine importer who worked hard for his money or took loan to invest in the business.
Until we decide to be patriotic enough to support and develop our home grown businesses,we wouldn't go anywhere. All these years,we've been actively developing economies of other nations,to the detriment of our own. |

Yea. If only we could turn back the hands of time. FotherMucker: Those days when education still meant something.
Now we only have randy teachers. The students are even worse, little punks tweeting and swapping ipods and looking at bosoms.
Sigh. Those days. |

The good old days when we had "writing" as a subject and there was a special book for writing with 3 different lines and when u write your "d",the long stroke must touch the upper line and when you write your "a",it shouldn't exceed the first line. |

Good job done by your friend but honestly, one doesn't even need to go to that length to know it is fake. The whole thing wasn't done neatly and with the inconsistencies around the lines, you can easily tell it's a forged document. I think the DSS should arrest the editor of premium times and interrogate him so He can tell us where He got this document from. If He truly got it from the principal at the school, the principal should be arrested and interrogated as to why He released a forged document as Buhari's statement of result. That way,we'd know who paid him to do the job.
It will interest you to know that Buhari has carefully distanced himself from this result by not being the one to present it to the public, but by claiming his school has released the result and citing what was published,as an evidence. |

Tragic!!! Got so scared after opening this thread and I immediately called my mum to confirm She and my elder sister are fine. After confirming their safety,I dropped the call. Mum had to call back to ask why I called cos She thought the call was kinda weird and unusual. I had to confess it was what I saw on NL that made me call. May God never let any of our loved ones be involved in anything negative and tragic. I felt really unsettled after opening this thread. |
