Try the quote again, you can be fortunate enough to get something lesser than this especially in the evening. Meanwhile , the 72 hours is just to tell you the rate will possibly change but it is not so on all occassion. just ensure you pay the money to the bank before the 72 hours elapses cos the time you paid it in the bank is what they will use to determine the next rate. efeturi3: I WANT TO PAY SCHOOL FEES THROUGH CBN FORM A, MEMORIAL UNIVERSITY, AND I GOT THIS FROM GLOBAL PAY THAT QUATE LAST FOR 72 HOURS. DOES IT MEAN AFTER 72 HOURS PAYMENT WON'T BE ABLE TO BE MADE CONSIDERING THE THAT FORM A TAKES SEVERAL DAYS? |

Don't mind first bank, they did same thing to me . just walk into access bank and do your thing. Just fill the form and submit, even if they tell you they dont do third party payment, just tell them to submit your form cos i notice some of their branches always want to shy away from it. Kam3: Good morning all,
Please which is the best bank to pay tuition using form A and what is the rate? I tried paying through first bank for UCW but it was declined. First bank said they don't pay into third party account. |

This link will help with conversion as i learnt that is what they use https://www.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/cgi-bin/recgen/er.pl?Language=E . search for NGN then do the maths ie 1/ngn value. As at today NGN is 329.9 to a CAD. Oviebright: You're not the only one oh. They don't use black market rate. Some people here be telling you they use black market rate but they don't. I did the conversion too. I asked about this exact figures some days back. But no one replied replied... 13,000cad * 290 = 3.7m... but some people here would be hinting on that, you need millions upon millions in your bank statement. |

Creativeowos: Hello guys, please i did my medicals at Qlife last week and my blood pressure was high, i was really surprised because am just 27years old. Do they refuse someone because of blood pressure. Please anybody that knows the perfect answer should reply please The high BP will only drop your score to “B” automatically but that won’t stop you from passing the medical if other results are ok. I sent you a mail . |

EhischemNg: Mehn...I can only wonder what time people who got there around 12pm finished up. The only reason medical can take time is due to the number of persons being attended to .For Qlife, the moment you are called in and you see the reception and a passport of you is taken , you will be given a can to go urinate into it , then you can easily run around to go do other things yourself rather than sit down and wait to be called. If you sense and delay with those calling name or numbers , go for you chest X-ray and comeback later . I bet you in less than two hours , you are done and free to go . I did mine on a Saturday and spent less than two hours from when I was called in to when I left the place. Even though I did no decode these processes early . |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by chrysto: 9:40pm On Dec 20, 2021 |
If your medical is taking too long to get to the passed phase, you may need to reach out to Qlife and ask for assess to your medical report send to CA. I just thought about it, gave it a shot and was asked to pay 2500 to their account which they sent to me via mail and guess what ? I got my complete medical report though with an attachment eg X-ray scan etc. The report contains the full names of the persons that attended to you and their assessment. I was fortunate enough to score B and A . Also from the report, almost everything was confirmed ok which gave me rest of mind. Anyways , I passed my medical . So I will advise you give this a shot so as to know you health status and need to correct anything if need be . Least I forgot , the “B” I scored was because of HBP. All the best and May God see us through our worries. Canada must accept us ooo. Amen

How can I get a closer date for my medical at Qlife hospital the date given to me by Qlife is Jan 7th and to me it's quite risky because the medical request will expire on Jan 10th
Abeg what can I do? Go to Qlife as soon as possible with your medical request or better still call them and they will direct you on what to do. I sure know they will attend to you since you have the medical request with you. |

Romoke1995: Good day everyone ... please I have some questions concerning Cotonou border ... as some of us know that at the border we have Nigeria check point and Cotonou check point . My question now is that are we to get both stamp on our passport or we getting only Cotonou stamp alone .. because I schooled there and basically that’s how it runs over there ... I just want to be sure which stamp we getting Naija will give you exit stamp, while Cotonou will give you entry . So you need both stamps . But if you are following street way, the bike men will take you through a route where those are not necessary. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by chrysto: 3:44pm On Dec 04, 2021 |
You can also book a flight to Cotonou if you wish to . The cars you saw at mile 2 are the normal buses that ply that way . They will stop you at seme boarder , then you can take a bike into Cotonou via street way or you go through the boarder where the Naija immigration will ask you to pay money and also show your yellow card or they issue you one. Also note that when you get to the Benin rep side, some questions will be asked and they will free you cos those ones are normally friendly . Since you are going with kids, I will advise you go via flight . Jojorito007: Yesterday I decided to visit ABC transport at Mile2 to make inquiry about their Cotonou/Ghana route but I was told that they don’t ply the route for now. I went to mile2 ( close to the pedestrian bridge) I met some cars leaving to Cotonou,Lome and Ghana. They said Cotonou is 15k if I am going straight and Seme border is 4K and then I can take another car from Seme. My passport was going to be stamped at the ECOWAS office and Cotonou immigration. It was a good deal but I changed my mind about the whole trip when I saw the condition of the cars and knowing I’ll be going with 2 kids ages 6&3. My Cotonou mission is aborted for now. Infact I have decided to take a break from making any travel plan as I’ll be started exams next week. My exam will end on the 15th.. if nothing happens by then I can consider any other route. But a place I’ll definitely go by air not by road . |

Thanks a lot , I appreciate. Omiinii: Yeah I use GTBANK I don't know about other banks maybe the gurus here will know how to go about it.
For the SOP you can write it the way you seem fit. I just said you should write a separate one because sometimes the initial SOP might be too long(6 or 7 pages) and that part will be lost in the whole bunch. Since you're a first timer you can add it in the SOP since you wouldn't be explaining alot. One or two SOPS it doesn't matter what matters is you're able to convince the VO. |

Thanks a lot for the detailed explanations. I will visit both banks. viviangogos: Yes, you can get MBS for First bank but will have to go to the bank for it. They were not issuing this before but recently, people have claimed to have gotten it and used for their SP application. If you arent able to get MBS, still get your SOA from the bank. They use letter head paper and also sign on each page once you indicate it is for embassy / visa purpose. I used Access bank and Zenith MBS. I generated the Zenith from my app but Access app does not have that feature so I went to the bank to do it.
For the lumpsum, you do not need to circle on your SOA, there is a section for proof of financial means. You can do a LOE to attach in this section. This will contain a detailed table showing funds and expenses planned for your studies. On the letter, you can make reference to date of transaction and amount, and explain the lump sums in detail, then attach proof like sale of property , gift deed, savings from salary etc. Note to make a TOC for documents uploaded here and for client information too to make it easy for the VO to reference easily. eg of documents for this section are school fee receipt, pension account, MBS or SOA, payslip, business documents and number them accordingly too. Not compulsory but will make your work detailed. All the best. |

Also, i will like to know from how much is termed "Lump sum" Omiinii: 1. I believe the one from the bank has the manager's signature. So it's more credible I'm not sure. But it's better to just generate a MBS from your app. Send it to the embassy directly and send the ticket ID and password to them. That is the most credible and reliable way to show proof of funds for now.
2.If you have lump sum you want to explain you can make a difference LOE for it. Makes everything neat and organized. It's not something you'll explain in just 5 lines so a different letter to address it is preferred. You will just state when and where the funds came from, the whole gist behind it sha and back everything you say with verifiable documents. This part is very important.
3. I think you should wait for a new especially if you've reported to immigration that you've misplaced the old one. I don't know if there are implications to using a non existent passport and I'd rather you not find out incase it might affect your application negatively. |

Thanks a lot for the reply, i only know GT bank has a platform to send bank statement direct to embassy but i use first bank and Polaris. i will be glad to know if anyone has used 1st bank and Polaris app to generate a bank statement and send directly to embassy. If i get your right with regards to the lump sum, you are saying it is possible to submit two SOP. I am a first time applicant ie mine is SOP, One for the general explanation, the other for the lump sum. Omiinii: 1. I believe the one from the bank has the manager's signature.
