That man is just a mere figure head. Where in the world where there's a president and a vice, then the vice will have a voice or even make an impact? I'm sure that most people don't even know the name of the vice president of America. To be candid, there's little or nothing he can do 'cause his boss calls the shots, but as a Christian; it's difficult to serve God genuinely as a politician in Nigeria. There are cases that the truth would need to be told, but you just can't 'cause it'll cause public outcry. That's like going against your faith and principles.
Yeah... there's a lot he can do...let him start by questioning his own conscience

Azizat lacks confidence and too indicisive ... obviously she feels untouchable, the reason for her poor run of form

Me I knew that he struck a deal with APC during the Anambra election last year. They allowed him to retain his seat in return for delivering his state in 2019. That is why APC came second in the elections.

I have a strong feeling many of the southern governors up for reelection in 2019 will work for APC e.g rivers, delta etc. APC may not out rightly win but the margins will be close. This is Nigeria!
Nothing like striking a deal in Anambra politics.they have always voted based on good governance and to the honor of Dim Ojukwu's memory

Obiano is just a hypocrite

Obiano is an ungrateful bunch .

One expected him to press it on APGA to adopt Atiku/Obi ticket.

APGA has always been a feeder for PDP, now after been made governor by Obi , he can't reciprocate good gesture

He can't even set aside their difference for the good of South East?

The useless hypocrite VICTOR UMEH that was supporting Obiano against Peter Obi for selfish Gain ; hope he has seen His true colors? Can't wait for their fallout.
We may end up seeing the end of APGA because of this fickle called Obiano

You are wrong. The family entered on rescue mission. It was the fmr MD that contested for Abia guber under Apga that messed up the books. I suspect he used the money for election as well as sharing money to customers in the name of loan with no collateral under 48hrs. Their risk appetite was huge. Lot of Nigerian traders saw it as an avenue to hammer and they did resulting to bad loans. Uzoma Dozie was put their as an eye to help salvage the bank coa they still got assets andnd can turn around if properly managed.
He used which money for election ?

You just come online and start typing nonsense

Go and check the records of Otti at Diamond and come back to rephrase

Well Diamond is one hell of a bleeped up bank!
A bank that is watered with tribalism and nepotism, i don't feel sad for them, Take this from me before Dec 2019 Diamond bank will cease to exist!

Look at Banks like GT and First bank run by The westerners see how they have stood the test of time and are amongst the 3best banks in Nigeria!

Even FCMB isn't doing badly

Tribalism by some Easterners has destroyed Diamond bank!
This has nothin to do with tribalism...has more to do with selfishness and greed, mainly from Pascal Dozie and Families

If you call Diamond tribal , wonder what you would call Wema?

Came back from work after a long day. I haven't been on nairaland for like two days so I was hopeful to see good news and new + interesting content only to see countless mention from nairaland males
I just said my mind about a man who ditched a woman who helped him and married another and look at how those dudes came for me. I wanted to reply but it would be futile and I let it rest. Even the mods hid my comment.
All I'm saying is that, males hate women who have a different and better opinion from theirs. They feel threatened and try to vanquish her. Thats why feminism will always be a thorn in their flesh.
Ladies, learn how to develop a thick skin. Males will respect you if you do. Take Hillary Clinton and Oprah Winfrey as an example.
You are generalizing, why don't you say some men instead of males hate women....?

. CAF aren't serious before, how can they asked a country bedevilled with internal fratricidal war to be hosting a tournament of that status..what Cameroon is wasting on internal war is enough to build 10 Stadia ..They should be allowed to sort out themselves first while another country do the hosting . Good luck to Cameroon
And Nigeria is not involved in Fratricide war?

Yinka Odumakin staying under PDP umbrella and forming Afenifere a non partisan organisation.

No wonder they hide under non partisan organisation and criticise APC and sing high praises of PDP.

No way, we can't host it and allow Cameroon to come and collect the cup like they did in year 2000. Of Cameroon cannot host it successfully, then they should be given a 10-year ban. There has to be consequences for misbehavior and disappointent of this magnitude. They are dropping out because they hate to host and not win it.... THEY MUST HOST IT AND NIGERIA WILL LIFT THAT CUP IN YAOUNDE!
I can't see any consequences here.

It was CAF that chose to withdraw the hosting right, Cameroon didn't opt out . They still maintain their ability to host until CAF decided otherwise. so in such case you can't penalize them

how many standard stadiums do we have in nigeria? We re no longer giant o..
One only needs four venues to host AFCON. right now we have got Teslim Balogun , Uyo , Nnamdi Azikiwe , and Ahmedu Bello Stadia ready to host any of such competitions, the only challenges would come in Logistics like, accommodation, Transportation and rest

On security CIVILIAN JTF and association of local hunters and Vigilante shocked can help us with that.

On Transportation, we have enough KEKE MARUWA to ferry them...case closed cool

By your own judgment, system of government does not count?

If system of government don't matter, why are experts clamoring for fiscal federalism and/or regionalism as a solution to Nigeria's problems.

So you want to tell me that for years when we have suffered the same plight, it has been due purely to bad governance?

Bring all past and present American president to govern a country like Nigeria, and they will fail. It is not a curse. It is the system of government. It is the structure.
You are beating about the Bush.
According to you Buhari can not effect some changes whil Morocco can , is because we operate Democracy ?
And I ask you , is it same Buhari who has no regard for rule of law, under whose watch likes of NNPC have been spending unapproved money?

You people are just behaving like illiterates.

I am saying that an absolute monarchy will have speedy decision making.

Even if Buhari decides to buy these fast trains, what if the legislative arm frustrate the effort through unnecessary interrogations?

We saw what happened with the fighter helicopters? Buhari risked impeachment to purchase them without waiting for the agreement of the legislative arm.

The South Africa you are mentioning still suffer from unstable power supply and high crime rates. So what is special about them?
Your problem is your don't know the difference between good governance and system of government be it democracy or Monarchy.

You are telling me it's easier to have billions of dollars unaccounted for by NNPC under Buhari, than utilizing such to build legacy projects...I can see your level of Literacy undecided

The same Buhari that has been ignoring Court order and with no regard for rule law , now wants to go by the rules in other to deliver developmental infrastructure? How literate can one be?

Morocco is an absolute monarchy. This means the king has a lot of power. He can make decisions and have them quickly executed.

But in Nigeria, Buhari can have a plan but must share it with the legislative arm who may decide to debate on it for years.

There is a clear difference in decision making in a monarchy like Morocco and a presidential system of government as we have in Nigeria.
Oga forget your story . Indirectly what you are saying is a country needs to be. Monarchy to make such SOUTH AFRICA ETHIOPIA and Kenyan are all working on speed train, Morocco's own is just the first to come on board and you are here telling stories of a victim

The Moroccan project took 10 years in development. Buhari has nothing to be ashamed of. He has done well so far.

Moreover, you cannot compare Morocco to Nigeria. Morocco is a monarchy. Decisions can be made faster than in Nigeria.
What has monarchy got to do with development?

Should we now start mentioning those countries doing great stuff without been Monarchy?
