Nissan Data Scan is often limited in its range of coverage. I very much doubt if the QX4, for example, is supported.

Seems you don't have a spare. Anyway, you might need to go beyond just programming the key. The immobilizer control unit seems to be the culprit here. It's fastened to the ignition barrel. (Check to be sure it's not shifted position.) Here's the one for your QX4. A CK-100 key programmer should do just fine.

This code is usually triggered when a not registered or damaged key is used to start the engine. When the starting operation is carried out five or more times consecutively with the same unregistered key, the system will lock. If the problem occurs try disconnecting the car battery for about 30 minutes and then try starting the engine with a known registered key. If the problem persists you have to have the dealer erase the code and reprogram the keys again.
If problem persists after disconnecting the car battery, try the following:
ESCAPE FROM LOCK MODE
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Turn ignition switch ON with registered key. (Do not start engine.) Wait 5 seconds.
3. Return the key to OFF position.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 twice (total of three cycles).
5. Start the engine.

For the p1612, faulty ecm or immu, my guess is on the immobilizer since you were able to pull codes.

If all doesn't work, reprogram key and have immo and ignition checked

Costee, diportivo, nurey, gazzuzzI need assistance. I'm getting codes P1610 and P1612. Car cannot start. Immobilizer no longer recognises key as one registered to it. I know I need to reprogram the key. Any cheap scanner that can do this work? 2002 infiniti Qx4

While I don't know Nissan Electrical systems, I do know what you said about fuel pump failure relating to fuel sender and fuel leak sounds more amusing than what you are accusing Autologic for. Before you cast stone at someone, check yourself if you are sure you don't deserve same stone you are about to throw.

Low fuel pressure can throw a lot of error codes in Lions. Faulty oxygen sensor error code may be unlikely in this case, but doesn't mean its impossible. At least, it wont be the only code. If truly the Nissan vehicle in question ought to have 50 psi fuel pressure while engine is running, then something was wrong with your fuel delivery which could be weak fuel pump, faulty Fuel pump assembly, partially blocked fuel filter or damaged fuel line. So, yes, something was wrong with the fuel supply. Stop acting like it wasn't, unless 40psi is vehicle factory fuel delivery psi. Whether it was the fuel pump or other fuel delivery components was the culprit(s) is not what I am here to discuss. Oxygen sensor might still be faulty or something is making it appear faulty, but what you are doing here reminds me why I am who I am.

A lot of Nigerians love abusing their vehicles and later on look for who or what to pass blames to. A lot of Nigerians prefer to buy abused vehicles because they are cheap, with intention to look for someone to fix the abuse at cheap price. And when they don't get it, they resort to blames to the vehicle brand, mechanics, electricians or imaginary witches in their villages. The vehicle in question may not be the case, but I have seen enough to know Nigerians love this drama.

Don't you fink the complainant's tank might just be leaking upon always filling his tank to the brim. Have seen enough cases like that especially if his tank is the ironed type. I personally feel if the pump wasn't fixed properly fuel odour would have been perceived right inside the car which he never stated also the said car might lack performance due to unfit positioning of the fuel pump

I will be objective here. I think the fuel pump didnt fail. It wasn't properly fixed. So on filling the tank, it started leaking from the top. The pump is still good. I don't see how changing fuel pump will fix oxygen sensor code. But oxygen sensor code may not lead to car dragging. So autologic may have good reasons for changing the pump. NanaF, I think I wouldn't blame autologic even though I believe he is a textbook technician. If truly he replaced fuel pump based on oxygen sensor code, then he has a blame there. But again, I doubt it.
