Op, I use avalon, though an 06 which is not different from 08 in function and parts, I recommend avalon. It's a machine. It's reliable. I order my needed parts from US. They are not expensive.

hello, the culprit was the steering wheel pump. i had it replaced and end of noise.

It can be fixed. first of all, is the speedometer working? If not, is ur ABS light on? It can be as little as ur ABS fuse. It can also be from a P0500 code. It can be from one of ur wheel speed sensors. Scan the car. I'm assuming the speedometer is not analog, otherwise, its cable things.

Check ur engine mounts.
