There is nothing like a player that plays week in week out. Look at ndidi. God help this country. Is it that we don't like excellence in this country?

Nope. AC Milan is equally a team of substance and higher pedigree in comparison to Napoli. They have a richer history in the Champions league. They are as good as proving what they stand for when they face Napoli. It will rather be a dent on them to allow Napoli to walk on their face when they meet in the CL. This is Milan's only chance at winning a trophy too this season. So it will not be easy for Napoli and I hope they can make history for themselves by qualifying for their first CL semifinals. Milan has already won the CL five times, that's the biggest number by an Italian team. So they have the pedigree. Napoli has the form.
fair point. The last time they meet napoli won. However I am still rooting for napoli to take this one provided they maintain their team spirit. They are beginning to play for personal gains. If you watch the last match you will notice some bad decisions in the final third and zielinski altitude towards that penalty confirmed my suspicions. This is time for team work.

Thank Gid u told us about Victor Osimhen.
Let me expise the victor isimhen of our midfield

The bext gen midfielders we have that will be the next mikel oloseh okocha are

Samson Tijani he is allready on a risr if not for injuries thus season . Bt next season he will be ready. People here have forgotten that European clubs were all over him after u17

Daniel daga he is allready interesting al ahlyband is the next big thing at 16. Again european clubs are all over him

Ebenezer akinsanmiro from remo stars to inter Milan. The sky is his limit

Victor Eletu he has been in ac Milan since 14 and his is captain of their youth team

These boys will succeed in tge next few years abd put an end to our midfield issues
these guys apart from tijani(age if I am correct) should be in our u 20. Daniel daga is one player we missed due to injury. He is such a gem.

No Flying Eagles striker has scored or recorded an assist after five games so far in 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ahmed Abdullahi (4 Games, 0 Goal, 0 Assist)
Francis Aboubakar (4 Games, 0 Goal, 0 Assist)
Adams Olamilekan (5 Games, 0 Goal, 0 Assist)
very bad. The coach should find strikers. I watched them. They are not really the hype before the tournament.

osimehn is just incredible off the ball. Unbelievable pace and running power. shocked but seriously why play a high line against this Napoli that can score through possession or counter-attack with equal ability
seriously. I was even surprised. Napoli will mess them up if the coach doesn't change tactics

I heard the commentator say he may not be available for the rest of the tournament.
I hope his injury is not serious.
The team needs him badly.
He was everywhere winning balls, throwing in tackles and dictating play.

What a horrible week for Nigerian football.
Super Falcons lost their 2 matches to Mexico and Colombia now the U20 lost to Senegal. Where did we really get it wrong? We keep losing our first matches in tournaments and play catch up games at the end. Something definitely is wrong?
I feel Daniel daga is the engine of that team. Before his substitution due to injury they were pressing the Senegalese. Quite unfortunate for the team.

Bro Lukaku won a Seria A and even performed better than Osimhen 3 seasons ago. Afterwards, he was signed by Chelsea and flopped by scoring only 8 goals. Up till today, he hasn’t recovered from that horrendous bad season at Chelsea and maybe his career is done.. my point is that, the grass isn’t green on the other side and if you’re loved and is a King in a city earning decent salary, Stay there for few seasons before leaving
the way you discuss football at times makes me wonder. Is lukaku osimhen?Seriously you are not making any point. There is no league in the world osimhen can't survive and even perform better.

lakaka has been having injury problems this season since he left chelsea. He'd been bossing the serie A beforehand, it's why chelsea forked out 90m+ for him, only for him to flop terribly as he did with man utd.
80 year old Dzeko still starts games and scoring winning goals for inter, dzeko that won't ordinarily start for Brighton.

Players have it easy in serie a cuz the pace of the game there is much slower, there's no intensity.
so what are you saying in essence? Abeg dead that narrative.

Yesterday Di Gea and Tes were both beaten at their near posts so this is not strange but Osi probably took him by surprise with direct strike on goal
you have to consider the technique and power in that shot. Don't totally blame that keeper.

It's too easy to score in Serie A. The level of the league is low. If you have the physique you are dominant. As was Lukaku. The true top player of Napoli is not Osimhen. The top player is Kvaratskhelia.
reason it's your opinion. Seria A is now a low league abi? I doubt you have played this game or even understand the game to make such statement. Baba rest. Picking a player as the key to napoli performance is a baseless submission. I doubt you watched napoli last season to understand what team spirit has made them muscle teams in Seria a easily this season.

Ghanaians are well coached disciplined and resolute in defense. If they can hang in there in the second half Portugal might tire and begin to make mistakes that they could pounce on.

Unpopular opinion but Bruno Fernandez looks like a low key fraud sha.
the painful thing was what the guy said after our match. Is just shows how we have declined in football.

It's not even about form. It's his arrogance and body language. See how he fell off the remaining grace when God dash am. Chance at redemption and he just successfully hanged himself with his own rope
it was clear he was not supposed to play the penalty. As in what kind of arrogant player is this. Anyway , my positive from the game is just bright osayi. He is good competition for aina. Omo we need solution to our midfield problems. Is becoming so pathetic. For the defensive pair, I reserve my comment.
