TheLoneCitizen: Both Darwin and Osimhen are at same level, brother.
Don't draw no agenda, here. let's stop this comparison. I am only saying that Darwin was very selfish today. |

TheLoneCitizen: How many "mumuish" displays has Osimhen dropped?
You owe Nunez an apology, because unlike Victor, he made these mistakes at the highest level. but Nunez can't be compared to osihmen in terms of team play and release of ball to a better positioned player. Osihmen troops him hands down. What Nunez did today with that selfish play is super rubbish. He is lucky man city didn't equalise. |

Like I said before , Napoli needs osimhen. Raspdadori is a good backup . a fit osimhen will always change the game provided you feed him. |

Napoli will definitely need osimhen. They need that pressure. Raspadori is good, mobile but he doesn't have the press which osimhen offers. |

Windscribe: Napoli got three red hot Strikers, The team appears to have moved on from the abysmal trànsfer of V.Oshimen.
I don't expect him to break into the team XI àt the moment. your submission looks beautiful however , osimhen is just coming back from injury and nobody will like to o change a winning. The main men for me in napoli is auguissa and loboka. With augussia out due to injury I wonder how they will cope with ndombele. Raspadori functions well with efficient midfield if they are dominating. With bigger team with better midfield , they will definitely need osimhen to create pressure. |

I like the set up peserio used. Just that the personnel esp iheanacho position was lacking . the set up was direct and required quick transition which iheanacho stalled most times. If you watched the game you will notice all our attack were very dangerous esp in the final third. Seriously a midfielder that can shoot and exploit space will suffice( quite unfortunate we don't have olise or eze). Iwobi should continue in that his position .the guy understands quick transition and space. Moving him forward could be counterproductive. I don't think anyone can do what iwobi is doing now in that position in super eagles. IMO |

Meliforme: Flexibility is key.
Jose Peseiro strategy was directly play. Our organization on the pitch showed a team that trained principally to utilize the direct play strategy. This is seen in the manner at which we transitioned from defense to attack. The transition was quick. Again we utilized more of zonal marking which goes together with direct play. Our zonal marking system nullified the Algerians, but the discipline to calmly execute the zonal marking strategy some of the times, was in want. Our ability to maintain calm and discipline to stick to our philosophy was greatly tried by the Algerian hostilities.
Guys i tell you that Jose Peseiro perfected his strategy. I believe the players perfected that in training. A big thumbs up to him. Possession football was never in his plans.
Jose Peseiro plans worked well in the early minutes of the first half. The Algerians seemed to have adopted a similar strategy, but having seen that they can't compete with us using direct play approach, switched to possession football. Flexibility is key.
I want us to know that this is an experiment. It's just a friendly. u sabi football. |

What is the essence of friendly matches ? Simple to test strategy. We move guys. At least one or two has been learned. The defence line today was top notch(imo)The attack was good. Just the midfield though I have to give kudos to iwobi( this guy understand space ) and onyeka. Going forward, we need a keeper and good additions to our midfield. I believe alhassan addition will create good balance. |

Zambo is one of the more lackadaisical DMs this season. Very unprotective of his defence.

Mickael2: He is a DMF, it's literally his job to delay transition once in a while. You can't play gongho for 90minutes, have you seen Busquets turning in the middle of the pitch before? A good DMF should know when to slow the ball down, you may not like it but it is what it is. It is left for Iwobi or whoever the pacesetter is in the team to request the ball from him and move it. . I know all these. I doubt you watched that game if not you won't be saying these regarding etebo's game today. There are situations where is either he couldn't trap well, is delaying quick exchanges ( one example with iwobi),robbing the ball or caught out of positions . He had an average game. Against a good side he will be exposed. I understand he hasn't played for a long time and its evident. However nice freekick . |

That's confidence in his decisions making Iwobi is a joy to watch. Etebo still needs to add quick decision making and pass to his game. He delays transition. Sha adding alhassan and with ndidi coming back omo this team will be fire |

Curtisaxel10: What I love the most about today's game is how the coach read the game, made one tactical switch and turned the match around.
It seems we finally have a real game reader for a coach. Exciting times ahead.
PS: Peseiro did exhibit some Rohr-ish traits though. Like refusing to remove Chukwueze until around the 80th minute even when it was clear that Samu had gassed out around the late 60s. And we had a fresh Dennis and Lookman on the bench!.
Also, Osimhen got injured towards the end and was limping around in pain but Peseiro somehow preferred to keep him on in that state than to bring on a fresh Dessers or Moffi (until extra time). I just can't wrap my head around that decision.
On the whole, good show! for chukwueze u are right. Peserio has already initiated osihmen change but the referee was allowing the match to go on. |
