andrewbaba44: Carlos querioz said It’s 16 players defending against Tunji Senegalese today
Mourinho self no do reach this one The coach is very good with defending tactics. I remember the Iranian team he coached, it took Argentina messi magic to score. Even Nigeria could not score against them |

Dannyxy: Meanwhile, Nigeria created the best chances in games yesterday, Nigerian team is class way above the Ghanaians, Nigeria played badly but the class the tiny moment they put things together was obvious.
Ghana is no match for Nigeria right now.
And Nigeria loosing to Ghana on Tuesday, yes it can happen, but that will denying African one of thier most talented team on the world stage, Nigeria just needs to play basic on tuesday.
Ghana's play will be simple, sit back and counter. They will keep a player on ekong and balogun, they will sit back, expect our wingers to keep dribbling thier way from oniitsha to idumota, win the ball, pass to partey, and immediately Jordan and arena pick up pace running at our defense, this will be thier tactics, and they can sneak a goal or two, Abuja pitch is perfect for all kind of football. Their tactics would over work sef and they will beat us or drags us to penalty if egwaveon doesn't change tactics, and one or two personnel, tweak his style too.
Nigeria will thrash Ghana if we can control play, yes thrash. What do we do? Two formation can be adopted. 3 4 3 or a 4 3 3 343 will see us have Ekong semi balogun as the back 3, with balogun playing a sweeper role and also moving in to midfield when we are in possession, aina rwb and simon lwb.
Aribo and onyeka as cm and d.m collectively, with one of them not moving past the centre circle and the other roaming around the center circle and the box.
Give me me a front 3 of iheanacho Dennis and osimhen. With them interchangeably changing positions through out the game. Let me see Ghana counter this.
Second formation, a 4 3 3. This is pretty basic, gives us control of the game through midfield steel. Same back line as the game yesterday.
Aribo, onyeka and bonke. Bonke the sitting 4, onyeka c.m, Aribo an 8/10 always close to the strikers and roaming into the box. Front of simon, osimhen and Dennis, if Simon plays rubbish, yank him off and bring in lookman, also moving osimhen to a wing and bringing in an ighalo can be a lethal.
Enough said, there is a lot we can try with our players without going foo faraway from basic and totally changing philosophy, so much unpredictability in our play can come, and its annoying we are this predictable to read.
Ae should sit up... I like him, he should sit up. The whole coaching team, need to start to thinking in and outside the box pre and during game play biko.
You have the players! I like that osimhen wing and bringing in ighalo. Our wingers are not getting it right. It seems moses wan chop bench. Eguavoen should warn that guy. Why those unnecessary dribbles? |

13large: We’re mad at our coaching crew because our team is much talented than these Ghanaians. This isn’t the Ghana team of essien, appiah I get u. But lucky enough we picked a draw and there is another chance. The best is to give support to the team. Truly I was disappointed in Eguavoen. He should at least change his tactics. But notwithstanding , the ending part of the game proved that he got it wrong with the personnel because we played better. He has learnt I believe. |

I don't understand all these noise. Playing Ghana whether shit or no shit team has never been easy. Even when we had our shitty team it was not easy for then also. These boys went to Ghana in front of intimidating crowd to pick a draw its commendable. I believe the coaches must have learnt and injury will force some tactical adjustment. Besides Ghana had every thing to prove , new coach factor and all that. We are picking this ticket. |

I will love to see etebo and Onyeka at a pivot then aribo as a 10 in the return leg.
Bassey also showed good strength and agility on one on one situation. Very stron and difficult to shrug off the ball
Decent game I will say by the team so on point bro. U sabi |

Afena ghan was running like headless chicken. Baba collect injury . seriously this Ghana team na rubbish. We just needed little orchestration in the midfield. Mind you , the new coach has exposed all his tactics , I wonder what next he will bring. Its a very big loss that they couldn't win after the delay tactics of releasing team list and all that. See Nigeria is winning this guys in abj. They are a wack team period. |

semid4lyfe: Ghana is lining up in a 3-5-1-1 and will be double marking our wingers.
Don't be surprised if our wingers are as ineffective as they were against Tunisia. it makes it easy. Just loop over the midfield and u have osimhen with the three defence line. Osimhen always scores with that set up. |

safarigirl: Anyway, I expect Ghana to score at least two goals against us in both legs
But unlike some people here, I always expect our goalkeepers to concede, my confidence is in our forwards to score more than we concede.
That is how we win matches. . Hmmm I doubt. With the super eagles I watched during afcon, if Ghana will score then its through penalty. Nigeria will not even give Ghana space to play . |

In as much as calls for defensive midfielder is good but ndidi will be missed. At this point , the coaches should be thinking of a better tactical set up for our defense. I wonder if onazi is the guy to replace. It so funny how people orchestrate their failure. |

charlesemeka85: Alex was massive yesterday, his dribbles, link up play and pressing were top notch
The problem is that many expect iwobi to score goals always but if we observe his style of play he is not type of player. Iwobi is a typical Arsenal groomed player who style is based on simple passes and link up play which makes a core ex Arsenal’s manager wenger type of player
Alex is not that fancy and flamboyant player as many of us mistake him to be but an efficient figure when it comes to high pressing and linking the midfield to the attack. He is not a traditional winger who is expected to take on players, put in crosses or cut in to score but will say is a hybrid winger/AM who loves to drift into the middle always to link up play
Having him in a team most especially when deployed to the flank gives more advantage to the team in terms of creativity and indirectly gifts the team the luxury of playing with 2 attacking midfielders because of his nature of drifting to the middle to create chances . May God bless u brother. This is just succinct . |

NFF should retain Eguavoen as the coach. We weren't lucky at all in this game. Besides that goal against maduka didn't help matters. I am so proud of these boys. Imagine if osihmen has been in this squad esp concerning area duels. Mind u, those critizing chukwueze forget that chukwueze function efficiently when osihmen is around due to his aerial prowess. Guys chill, we have a squad period. |

If you didn't watch that match , just keep quiet. I love what iwobi was doing in that wing. That drifting into midfield opened enough space for ebuehi to move and as well it drew Bissau players out of position. |
