I think that the pay for the nurses is very poor!!! Here in the US, with this pandemic I make 10k a week and some nurses make more? Time will come when there will be no nurses in that country . Both profession should come together and have mutual respect for each other . They are like the teeth and the tongue . They have a common enemy which is the federal government.

I can talk about Nurses wanting to leave. Who won't want to enjoy the independence nurses enjoy here in the US. With all the different specialties including the APRNs and others. Then coming to pay package what a nurse of 20 years of practice earnnin a year is what a registered nurse earn in in 2 weeks do it's incomparable.

This is an investment ,why selling it in the first place

It's not possible. You must be an RN to get enrolled in Nursing in open University

Are you still a student or U are aan RN already ? . It is very rewording to be a nurse both in Nigeria and abroad. Nursing is one of the professions that will put food on your table in Nigeria. If you then manage come abroad you go hail!!! Making ,..............make I no talk am

It's disheartening when some one will ask for an advice and you know that u are not knowledgeable to answer but you still answer getting the individual confused.

Based on the OP question : looking at your background and your connection in Nigeria ,it will play a part in making a choice between these two professions .
PHARMACY and NURSING.are both a very difficult course to go through ,they both do internship at the end except if you go through the sch of nursing route which is not still bad.
If you have connection and long leg in Naija I will say go for pharmacy
If you know your parents no get long leg I will say go for Nursing.
YOU HAVE A BETTER CHANCE OF GETTING EMPLOYEMENT IF YOU ARE A NURSE COMPARED TO BEING A PHARMACY HERE IN NIGERIA except if you have a long leg.

One thing is that some of the people here claiming feminist are just the opposite in their husbands house and some useless girls will be listeaning to them. Of course she is right!!
