₦airaland Forum

These are the following feeble and senseless reasons Mr. Emefiele made for the Charges

(1) At first he talked about how customers have been abusing the free ‘opportunity’ by making numerous withdrawals beyond what they ordinarily make.
Pls Since when did ATM machine became a Free "gaming machine" or I am missing something? Also who enjoys withdrawing money better than depositing and from the last time I checked I am being charged for my ATM monthly.
Have any Nigerian ever been able to withdraw more than they deposited? Who is trying to confuse who?

(2) Secondly, Mr. Godwin said the banks have over the past months bear the cost of 65 naira on every withdrawal made on other ATMs as payment to the issuer (the paying bank)
So Banks can now forget their responsibility of making sure their ATMs are functioning cos if there is "network failure" "Unable to dispense cash" or "Power failure" in any of their branches the customer must pay for it by using another Bank's ATM and also again From the last time I checked I am being charged for my ATM monthly.
So it this a deliberate act to victimize the Nigerian masses.

(3) Thirdly, the CBN Governor feels if ATM transactions continue to be free, it will contravene the cashless policy.
The last time I checked there is still a withdrawal limit on ATM transactions, so this excuse of "contravene the cashless policy" is ill-thought, once a customer reaches the limit then it is good day. And the fact that its what he "Feels" not what empirical data proves then I think Nigerians are in for a Rough ride cos its a matter of what Mr. Emefiele "Feels" and not what CBN "Knows".

I am inventing something and that thing will solve a very big need in the Technological Industry.
And Mod I would Like you to put it front page It will cost you nothing but I will also like you to put in a little Blind faith in a Hard working Nigerian Inventor.

I have had two previous Concepts of mine stolen so this time I started walking that road on my own.

I would have loved to reveal what I am working on right here on Nairaland but I cant.
So far I have personally invested over N800,000.00 in it. But I am still not there yet.

Pls for those who really would want to invest but cannot cos the funds are not there. Just drop an encouraging word and when the time comes I will remember you encouraged me(Yes I will remember).

Mod as I said pls put this on front Page so that when the time comes I will boldly tell the world that Nairaland supported me. Or You can Just Delete it.
I also Posted this same Blind faith Investment Need in Business, Technology Market and Computers(Just in case you will want to delete it).

Quran 2:136 ''Say: We believe in Allah and that which had been revealed to us, and that which was revealed to Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the tribes, and that which was given to Moses and Jesus, and that which was given to the prophets from their Lord, we do not make any distinction between any of them, and to Him do we submit.''

Quran 2:285 ''The messenger believes in what has been revealed to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers; they all believe in God and His angels and His books and His messengers; they say We make no difference between any of His messengers; and they say: We hear and obey, our Lord! Thy forgiveness (do we crave), and to Thee is the eventual course

Quran 3:84 Say: "We believe in Allah, and in what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and in (the Books) given to Moses, Jesus, and the prophets, from their Lord:We make no distinction between one and another among them, and to God do we bow our will (in Islam)."

It goes on and on, numerous Quran verses convey the same theme which advocate us to revere and show obeisance to the prophets, and yes we do, you are a living witness to that seeing the fact that you were born and raised in Sokoto and only Suleiman talk ill of Jesus[a.s], and judging from the allegations he poses i can say the guy lacks proper Islamic upbringing. We have our shortcomings but what the verses above portrays is, a good Muslim will never slander any prophet/messenger in his conscious mind.[/quote]My Brother just out of my Ignorance I ask this question

Does Islam encourage Muslims to kill any one who makes a joke or insults any of the Prophets (especially Muhammad) ?

With all due Respect Oluwaseun Osewa please create a sub forum for Christians just like you did for Islam.

Thanks.

And Just in-case you would like us to take a vote on that, we can all gladly do so you will be surprised how many Christians you have making this site popular by the day.

Christians might even outnumber Muslims (just speaking).

Thanks for your understanding.
