chck the last paragraph were they states that from october 1,2013 that any driver without certification will not be allowed to drive on the road.

this is another way of indirectly collecting money from commercial drivers. - another government extortion and frustration for the drivers.

Try analyse both vehicles clearly, edegbe bus front bumper is fibre and the FRSC van back is not fibre. I am looking at IT that if the bus hit the van, the damage to the bumper will be more than what i am seeing in the pics.

Fibre and pan don't have the same strength when IT comes to impact. so if actually the bus did hit the van causing such damage to the van, then the bus front bumper should have been completely damaged.

So OP should also tell us if there is another vehicle involved in the accident.

Not bragging at all. With a First Class degree from the University of Lagos in Surveying, I probably dont know what I am talking about. Please i expect you as a surveyor to contribute constructively to what the lawyer has said, maybe if there is error in any statement you should have corrected the information For us readers instead of word exchange.

Please can you educate us why the survey plan should be backdated? And where/Office someone should crossckeck survey plans if they are registered with dept that handles lands issues/registration. Please correct me.

And more contribution from you as a surveyor regards what to do to get a good/registered survey plan please.

Smooyis: Stop ur local and tribal mentality. Everyone is supposed to pay tax. As an employee with Lagos I pay nothing less than 100k per annum. I don't know why some igbos always read tribal meanings to everything. U should be law abiding whereva u are. There are yorubas selling automobiles as well. Though in d minorities. I agree you pay Only tax a year. Do you know how many different these traders pay? Trade permit, shop permit, income tax etc.

So when you talk about tax, you have to take a Critical look at IT that these traders are paying too much.

When we see policy that are not ok we should discuss about IT and think of the way forward and please should keep tribal out of IT.

For those asking people to leave lagos if not ok For them, i believe they have not For once reside and do business outside lagos state. Do travel to other states in this country and see how they pay tax.

Using states in USA as reference to annual registration-Do you find out if they also pay shop permit, trade permit etc. please let us be wise..

Can anyone in the house assist me with the current/extimated cost to do the lintel only for 13 x one room self contain at abraka in delta state? or direct me to any post that has treated such issue.

the building is on 57 x 120ft plot and the dimension from the builder is room is 10ft x 10ft, kitchen-6ft x 6ft and bath/toilet is 5ft x 5ft(bath and kitchen lintel is on the same line.No structural design paper pls. Its just like face me, i face you building type( 7 rooms facing 6 rooms with passage. All with insuite bath + kitchen.

Pic attached is sent to me when it was not cleared. it has been cleared and all blocks taken to lintel line. i have asked for the current position pics and the builder is not sending it. i need to have an extimed idea before going there and if possible supervise the work myself.

I need the extimated cost (amount) for the following:
1. Total plank for lintel boarding with price
2. Labour for carpenter for boarding.
3. Total rods for lintel.
4. Labour for Iron bender for lintel
5. Trips of sand and cost -Note: small tiper is what they mostly use in Abraka
6. Trips of gravel (10 tone)and cost -Note: small tiper is what they mostly use in Abraka
7. Total bags of cement
8. Binding wire
9. Labour charge for bricklayer work for the lintel.

This is urgent for me as i need to round it up before December.
