Yes it is a counter-thread...:p These are the gifts you should never buy a man on his birthday (except he asks for them specifically). They are thoughtless and not the kind of gift any man would appreciate. BOXERS: It is wrong to buy boxers for a random guy. Did he tell you that he is lacking boxers ? CHEAP SINGLET: Most ladies are guilty of this. A guy would use his last penny to buy a mobile device for his girlfriend on her birthday, then on his birthday she gets him a singlet from Yaba. Ladies fear God naaaa FLOWERS: Roses are red and violets blue. Flowers are cute but getting me a flower on my birthday is "no",I'm not into horticulture biko... NOTHING: almost all girls are guilty of this. They end up giving "nothing" to guys on their birthday...some wil even be expecting you to take them out!! When you’re buying him gifts for his birthday, make sure you consider his likes, hobbies and interests. If you can’t do it by yourself, get someone to help you out with picking out the gifts. |

raayah: Bashing America once again??
Don't you pay for water in Nigeria too? How many restaurants do you go to in Nigeria that gives free pure water?
It is Illegal to a resturant to charge for water in most states in U.S. So your post is not true about that.
Free??
They are many shelters for homeless people, countless food banks and soup kitchens. You also receive welfare , discounted living and bus pass if your making below a certain wage. 911 and emergency service will respond on call.
The other day I was in a situation and the cops got here in less than 5 minutes. I'd rather stay here.
How many shelters do you have in your country? What is free in Nigeria?
You need ID Card to enter certain places because the government cares about the people. A 16 year old should not be at the club drinking alcohol. They are extremely vulnerable. Are you bashing a country for caring for its people.
Minimum monthly wage in america in Naira is 255,200 . (assuming 40 hr/wk at 7.25/hr at 220dollars = 1 Naira) Minimum monthly wage in Nigeria is 18,000.
Things cannot be sold at the same price.
Americans never post about why they hate Nigeria because well, they know they're better. Inferiority complex is a terrible thing. Did you actually read the post?? |

chukzzy1: NIGHTFALL IN MARS Its all red mud and spaceships As dusk descends upon neverland With rings of dust Circled in unending Flight
The stars glisten like Swarovskis welded in diamonds A city made of rust Beautiful rust Immersed in the Luscent beam of the Moon and its rays shimmering Through like ice on silk The taste of metal in The air As it snows upon Olympus With asteroids in orbit And comets in flight Like fireflies upon The boulevards of Manhattan
As dusk gives way to Dawn I gnaw at the Clutches of slumber I reminisce The beauty of a city Made of rust Its golden streets and Bright lights

ConsciousMind: I like to think of as like this:
God is a perfectionist. He makes things imperfect so he can improve on them. What's the point if everything was perfect anyway? God wouldn't have anything to do. Love wouldn't make sense because love is all about overcoming imperfections. So he made Adam and Eve, and they were perfect in our eyes. God doesn't make mistakes, he makes a version that can be improved on. Good could have chosen to make another tribe after Eden. And that's where Cain went.
Adam and Eve were black. By the time the New Testament was over God had used evolution to mutate other ethnicities. When Noah ark survived the flood, his children were all different. Slight ethnicity variations. That was the only way they could preserve human race Another anguuuu |

Minet16: Question 1. We weren't told if Adam and eve were black or white, but if you trace their lineage to isreal, you discover that isreal is a mixture of cholcolate and fair and blonde people in complexion. so maybe one of the two were fair and dark,Just saying tho. even if the two were the same complexion, its possible for two fair parents to give birth to a black child, its happend several times.
Question2: Adam gave birth to many sons and daughters. cain married his sister, by the time cain killed Abel, they might have been hundreds of years then. scriptural backup Genesis 5:3-4 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth: And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:.
Question 3: check my first answer.
Question 4: what origin of man?? mtchewww Genesis 1:26-27 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
#@MINET16 so you are saying that man originated from Israel...a country of less than 20 million people without a definite geographical location..go and seat down joorh The matter at hand calls for critical reasoning and not beer parlour talk |

great664: Christianity = Faith. Faith = Believing that something is true or real even without evidence.
Christians operate with faith and it works for them so don't judge, so others won't judge you.
I can give you Bible verses of the above but that's not my point though.
MY POINT: Stick to whatever works for you. its not by force nor a must to be a Christian but pls respect other people's Faith.
Atheist, Christianity, Islam, Budahism, Hindu, Satanist, Baha'i, sango, Amadioha etc
All AGREE only on one thing and that is LOVE thy neighbour as thy self, (Do to others what you want them do to you)
If the world can embrace that Love, Peace will reign on earth no matter your Faith, Colour, ethnicity etc
The world will not see any reason to build or own Nuclear Warhead ( Like someone pointed out that Russia have 8200, USA 7700 and Nigeria 1,000,000 ) Imagine!
Let's make the world a Better Place. It begins with You and Me(I) this is the problem with africans.....THEY DON'T THINK!!!! |

TV/Movies › Re: Gay Content In Hollywood Movies And Its Effect On Nigeria by chukzzy1(m): 5:57pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
1toRtoiSe1: exactly, my dear.
Most people, like the poster above you, think the gay thing is just a way of life that should be allowed since they think it does no one no harm. What they don't seem to know is that it is a movement tending to consume mankind.
Right about now, most people think if gayism is legalised worldwide, they won't suffer any consequence for such. Such people don't know that a time will come when they won't be able to buy and sell except they pledge allegiance to a certain course that has homosexualism embedded in it. Look at the music and movie industry, most of the acts there have been perverted, which was the price they paid for stardom. Recently, elton john went on twitter telling everyone to do away with Dolce&Gabbana, with the hashtag #boycottdolce&gabbana, simply because the designers criticised IVF, a method through which elton john and his gay husband conceived their children. Reactions from that hashtag has shown many celebrities and common people doing away with their D&G clothes and even saying they'll never patronise them again. If that could be happening to Dolce&Gabbana who are gay lovers, what do you think will soon start happening to straight people who don't become gay?
Remember that a book once said that a time will come when people won't be able to buy and sell unless they have.... you tried so hard to make sense but you failed woefully |
