Vicanace: Thanks @Chuman33, but what entails all documents, I thought it's only the final certificate? And do you know how long the visa issuance can take from the date of the interview? All documents meaning for eg you going for bachelor's, WAEC Certificate, testimonial, transcript, eligibility letter, these are the main ones to go through MOE and MFA. And during visa submission you can then legalise WAEC Certificate, the embassy and university only require WAEC Certificate to be legalized at the Polish Embassy. The scholarship you got what those it cover? |

pheyi15: Hi everyone, I just got an admission to study for my masters program at Poznan University of business and economics. I have not been able to book an appointment date on the polish embassy website. Can anyone pls put me through on the required steps and how to go about booking an appointment as it says lack of available date on the website .Thanks Bro, it is always hard to secure appointment. Honestly there is nothing miraculous Donald will do. He will secure the same appointment, just that he monitors and knows when it's available. So keep an eye during the closing of embassy hours. Also when you see the "next available date on...." Then keep a very good watch all through two days before that date on the website, then you will succeed. I'm saying from experience. Good luck |

Vicanace: I currently have a schorlarship with the University of Dabrowa Gornicza and everything has been made available. Please make me understand if I need to go to the ministry of education to validate my documents before my interview at the embassy or I can do it at once with the embassy? Thanks Vicanace, Yes you still have to legalise all your documents at MOE and MFA. During the submission for visa you can then submit for legalisation of your WAEC Certificate or BSC Certificate, depending on what degree level you going for. Hope that helps. |

pansophist: Because Ukrainians were granted visa free entrance to the schengen area doesn't mean they've joined Schengen. There will still be border check, exclusion from SIS and other provisions reserved for schengen countries.
Foreigners living in Ukraine will have to qualify on their own merit to schengen, including Nigerians living there. Never said they are in EU. I said that the free travel makes it easier for them to source for employment during their visit to EU countries. Unlike before that they require visa just for mere visit. |

Love12345123456: This is only for Ukrainian citizens, and they are not entitle to work like other EU members. They don't have to be entitled to work. Just the free visa policy is enough positive in the right direction compared to nothing before. Imagine been given free visa to visit USA and you from Mexico, won't you be more than happy coz that gives you room to search for employment and company that will hire you and file for your papers when you arrive on the visit visa? |

Today marks the day Ukrainians were finally allowed Free Visa to the rest of Europe, that includes Norway and the rest of the Scandinavia except for UK & Ireland. For Nigerians planning on studying in Ukraine, it seems a very cheap means of access to the rest of Europe without breaking your bank accounts have finally opened. Nairalanders in Ukraine, come in and share how the celebration is going. www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-40241348 |

TemmyDavies: First of all,I Don't study in Poland,Second of all Poland is not the only EU country, "Visited Poland" Thirdly, there are admissions for Januar in Better EU countries, and also a friend applied to Warsaw and was denied visa, and someone applied to Gliwice and was given on his first attempt, someone like you will tell people that Gliwice is remote and as such shouldn't apply there, but we all have different head, and we mustn't live like cows that goes to one direction.
And please Bro learn to read with Patience, its a virtue.... You were denied a Visa by July/August 2016 and as of October 2016 you were still looking for a Visa (based on your posts I have read) and in one of those posts 20th December you are studying in Poland looking to apply for a visit visa to the USA, When exactly did you apply for visa to your so called "other good EU country" coz as of October 2016 you were looking for how to appeal your polish visa denial, so how then have you been given a visa to have been to another EU country and as well studying in Poland as of 20th December 2016, boy when you want to lie, atleast do yourself the dignity of making it convincing, people who have brains will check your posts and the screenshot here. I won't indulge your lying ass any further.

TemmyDavies: Bro, school affect your visa application, most hilarious post i have seen on Nairaland so far, apply to Warsaw, if you will get denied you will get denied,FYI i was still in Poland lastweek, stop making it look weird. If you were applying for a polish visa as of October, how come you already in an EU country, already studying in Poland as you posted and now visited Poland last week. Gliwice do have international students who are mainly from Ukraine and Portugal. Have a look at those who got their student visas to Poland here on nairaland, they applied to Warsaw, even my homeboy that just arrived October last year is studying engineering in UW. Bro take it someone who know their system and helped people over, applying for schools in cities with little or no international students presence gives them a red flag that you will use them as a gateway to Western Europe, they won't tell you and if you really been here, you will know the situation with Nigerian students and their girls. Polish people have inferiority complex, they never believe that their is anything good that can come from their country, and it baffles them why someone will travel all the way to study program in English in a country were not more than 30% of citizens understand English who of course mainly lives in big cities. I will be in Krakow till end of April. |

Aywire: So i got admitted to university of economy in bydgizscs, i have paid all the fees requested for the entire first year of studies, i applied for visa last year december but i was denied becos there was no evidence that i will return back to Nigeria. So i appealed against it nd provided evidence such as family business evidence, letter of employment and letter of recommendation from my employer, and documents to tens of millions worth of family properties. I was still denied for teh reason that 'justification for purpose and condition for intended stay was not provided'. I am lost here. Bro do you even know where this school is located? How many foreigners/foreign students attend that school? What happened to Krakow, Warsaw, Gdansk, Lodz, Lublin? Before i further this talk, find out information where this school is located and why choice that city. |

DollyParton1: Depends on what questions you have in mind. Generally it's a relatively cheap city. Closest major city to Warsaw, the capital city. Lots of international students compared to some other cities aside Krakow and Warsaw. Which of the higher institutions are you planning on attending? OK, what's the approx cost of a room in shared flat, how much should one budget for a month expenses in Lodz, how is racism there, and compared to Warsaw and Krakow is Lodz lively enough to be classified as a vibrant student city? Where is the RCCG church in katowice. This place is not making sense at all, I wish I didn't choose here for Eramus. It's really messed up. Bro you should have chosen Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Poznan. Katowice of all places, that is one place I can't recommend to anyone. |

abnur14: to b sincere u need a legalized cert from the polish embassy to b finally accepted into the university ..I went to the international students office to confirm that recently..the embassy can't put their stamp on a doc that is not original.. u need the cert...when did u write ur waec?..go to ur school and ask d principal they only give it to students that request for it ...the documents to b legalized are ur waec cert and birth cert.. u don't need to legalize ur testimonials at d embassy just do so at MOE and MOFA..hv u taken the placement test? Was written recently, if that's the case then I don't know what else to do about it. If they will legalise the Testimonial and the transcripts and WAEC is legalised by MOE & MOFA, maybe they will accept it at the university. |
