yes bro I understand ur frustration.. its so annoying the university and the embassys policies are not in correspondence. wat I wld advice u do is talk to d international student office Representative overseeing ur application.. or if d uni is Warsaw university of technology.. u can go into foundation program which doesn't require a legalized cert ...and apply with ur legalized statement of results from MOE and MOFA..its a one year program ..but wen u come u could opt out..
Yes that's very unfortunate, I don't want to apply for the 1 year foundation course, do you think that legalisation from MOE and MOFA and attached copy of the Eligibility letter from MOE or the eligibility letter from Polish Embassy is enough for the university? I want to know if WAEC result copy/legalised by MOE & MOFA and scratch card won't be enough for the Embassy to accept it, what are the other documents that will be legalised by the Embassy or is it just the Testimonial and not the transcripts also? Please answer in details if you can, thanks alot

yes I finished 2014 and received it the next year..I said they don't accept transcripts but u can also submit it if u like as a back up doc with ur original waec cert ..
So if the transcript isn't acceptable what's the purpose of adding it? So it means even after legalisation of WAEC result at MOE, MOFA, they still won't legalise it? But the universities require legalisation of WAEC to be admitted.

abnur14:
they only accept original waec cert u can use ur transcript, testimonials and so on as back up docs only ..I legalized my waec cert and birth cert..
I thought you recently finished your high school based on your application as a minor? Doesn't Original WAEC certificate take 3 years to be issued? Also I thought they don't accept transcripts to be legalised at the Embassy? Please specify more

OK I already wrote to u how to go about it in the previous page..go through it and wen u re done lets know
Bro, I will like to know if the Polish Embassy legalised your WAEC Result or do they insist that WAEC certificate must be presented instead? Did they also legalise your high school transcripts? What are the list of documents you legalised at the Embassy? Thanks alot

One person wow, they are mean o,God help me get a date today, but if they gave someone 18th it would reflect on their website, are you sure that was not schengen visa appointment date.
It was for legalisation, I double booked appointment for 18th August, so if you can get them to take you on 18th August by 12:30pm, I'm trying to cancel the appointment but it kept requesting for form number and code number which in the PDF page I got only one number.
TravelRe: Polish Student Visa by chuman33: 8:50am On Aug 05, 2016
Yes, the appointment opened around 5pm yesterday , it was updated after embassy working hours, but it was very limited, 11th August and 18th August, 8:30am to 12:30pm, each time was for only one person. You got to keep watch all day for it.

Yes polish sworn translation cannot be done without his originals, they can work with the scanned copies till you send them the originals, you might contact them directly at Poland and see if you can send the originals to them for the sworn translation, after which they send you the originals and the sworn translations. Or you contact the Polish Embassy in Nigeria to see if they have such services.

medical university of Gdansk
That's a good university and nice city, you stand good chances of getting the Visa with the docs the school will send to you. And you will enjoy the city, Gdansk is a sea city, very touristic.

so did u think I should pay or not or till I. get the visa
It's good they accepted you get the visa first before paying tuition, hopefully Polish Embassy won't pin-point that as an excuse for denial. Which university is that?

my permit don expired and they 're not issuing for now... last year my brother apply for Poland tourist them know go make they said they don't give Nigeria passport tourists expect from Nigeria
Alright then
TravelRe: Polish Student Visa by chuman33: 10:05pm On Jul 23, 2016

It still doesn't matter, if you can get someone to legalise them for you, then you can simply apply from there, the Polish Embassy in Nigeria isn't very straightforward compared to the one in SA whose main job is to get people to visit Poland and not to extort people.

Legalization for PolisH uni is done during visa application first at MFA, abuja if you are in Nigeria and then at their embassy. Unless if the school you're applying to requests you do it before they admit you then you must.
Yes the universities I talked with specifically requested for them. I do not intend having anything to do with private universities, they are mostly the ones that can accept it, and in situation whereby visa is denied then to refund the fees paid becomes a big problem.

no I have paid been accepted already I pay for acceptance fees last week so waiting for the school to send me admission letter then I come to Nigeria to do my visa and do my legislation too
OK, because some schools I talked with still requested for it. Don't you think it will be easier for you to apply for polish student visa directly from SA since you already studying there and if you have a visa longer than 6months then you can.

Hey, get admission first, then go to d website to find out exactly what you will legalize WAEC results for sure, Get embassy appointments for visa sometimes theyre hard to get, also you need to have money in your own account if ur brother is your sponsor he should write you a letter stating he is and attach his bank statement and yours too. You can Pay school fees once you have your admission letter in your hands.
I though the new rules for the universities is that legalisation should be done first before admission, most schools write it plainly on their website while others inform you when you contact them.

Hello,

I'm wondering if there are any Nigerian students in Kraków or Katowice (both in Poland).
I'm thinking of attending school in one of these cities and I would like to know what life is like there, typical student demographics (white, black, Asian, etc) and the cost of living.
Thanks for your replies.
Why do you have to sign up for another account just to ask same question? Havent you been accepted in czestochowa?

Okay, so am I wrong to have chosen that school or what so unfortunate, just in case u think my choice is wrong I over did my research and I applied to only that school cox it suits me andits facilities are modern, some Nigerians look for where Nigerians are instead of somewhere that can help their career.
OK, let us know how it works out.

Thanks Bosses for your time and info, APPLIED TO SUT,Gliwice,Poland... did it in two days, dedicated a day for MOE which was yesterday and I got my docs that same yesterday, while today I faced MFA and I got my documents in less than 4 hours, God has just been making a way although it isn't easy, but no one asked for bribe in MFA, MOE I think was just 1k to get eligibility letter cox normally I wasn't suppose to get it in a day but they had to squeeze it as if I have applied before yesterday, but its all cool though..

#Thanks to you guys once again.
It's very unfortunate that many Nigerians don't even bother to do research on where they are traveling to, later you see them online blaming and laying complaints to whomsoever cares to listen, of course the most important thing is just get to answer that we live abroad. Best of luck.
EducationWhat To Do With BA International Relations/American Studies by chuman33(op):
Hello guys,
I have checked for a topic or something on degree program BA international Relations or American Studies but couldn't find anything. As a person interested in World affairs, I have been wondering what are the jobs or career possibilities available for a graduate of International Relations/American Studies, be it in Nigeria or abroad. Does after studying it path way to working in international organisations like UNICEF, UN, Consulate, etc. Please let's discuss about this degree program because it seems to be an underrated or rather overlooked course. All contributions are welcomed.
