don't be dull there's nothing wrong with giving advice when they have asked for It. Whether Poland or Germany its still Schenge you can carry on!
I believe if you got functioning encephalon you would have realized their questions are on Poland and not advice on choice between Poland and Germany. I assume your brother got Visa to study in Poland, shouldn't you be dishing out that advice to him on the importance of avoiding Poland and sticking to Germany you two-faced lip serving hypocrite? Done responding to a simpleton.

I read that starting from November the amount on block account has been increased to 10350 euro. No country is smiling again .

Anyway thanks so much. Please let's stop discouraging people. Everybody has different plan. I just want to come here to study at is all, i care about getting just part time jobs which can serve as my pocket money i am not planning to stay here for ever.
Good you got the points, coz someone seem not to understand that not all hands are equal and not everyone can afford the €10,350 plus the compulsory 1 year University transcript for undergraduate studies. Make your adequate plannings and pay no heed to people. Decision is all yours.

some of these guys have what it takes to be in a better place. Its now €10,000 for blocked account just in case. It comes with its own benefits.
Man, this is Polish student visa not German student visa thread. They are here seeking information about Poland not Germany and if they can afford the €10,000 they wont be looking for cheaper countries and schools at the first place. If you intend to sell the benefits of studying in Germany i believe you can easily find the German thread. Quit derailing.

. You might want to read my text again! The jobs u are talking about pays how much Zloty? As for me I wouldn't advice anyone to settle for Poland! U can turn down jobs in Germany, Norway and the likes for some stipends u get in Poland that's hardly enough to pay ur rent.
And how many of those people can afford to cough out 8000+ euros for blocked account? And with restriction on how many hours they can work per week whereas in Poland there isn't a restriction on how many hours students are allowed to work. Nobody stays in Poland long-termed. Whatever pay they get affords them their accommodation and normal living. It gets better for Master's students as class attendance ain't that regular and some school work can be submitted via online affording the students more hours of work. Kindly cut your coat according to your cloth.

there are countries in Europe where u have higher chances of working and making a living as a student not Poland I'm not saying u can't find something to do! But the chances are extremely slim even the poles are leaving their country to Germany for work. Even if u find a job around Poland what's the pay like? There's a fast food in Katowice in need of a person who can make shawama at least can speak polish a bit with good English. U barely can pay ur rent with the pay not to talk of save up to pay tuition fees. Its the reality
Do you live in Katowice? Which Shawama place are you talking about or you meant Kebab? There are Nigerian students who are working in the same Katowice you made mention of. Dont appreciate biased information. Indians are trooping into Poland for work. The advantage a Nigerian student have is the English language, for those with clear and coherent speech, there are lots of Customer care jobs and Telemarketing jobs for students. Will be nice if you give this advise ONLY if you live in Poland. Cheers.

I’ve gotten it, still waiting for your response
From my understanding, there shouldn't be a specific amount as BTA for a person traveling with student visa. This requirement should surface when you go for the application of your temporal resident permit. Good thing is that Poland now issues a one time resident permit valid for the duration of your study.

They don’t collect bank statement anymore . Get a credit card certificate from your bank and put all your cash in it .

Sounds like this is a new development. If it improves the chances of getting the visa then its good.

Should be satisfactory if it proves your financial capability.

Collegium civatas university. Warsaw

Okay, its a better University compared to Vistula University owned by a Turkish guy who just use it as a gateway to bring Turkish and Eastern Europeans to Schengen States. When are you arriving?

( note he is not related to me in anyway) first i submitted statement of account and luckily one of the polish woman corrected me that there is no where it was stated that statement of account is proof of fund.
Accommodation and flight RESERVATION.
and a lot of PRAYERS.
pls feel free to ask any question about my experience.
And yes I got my visa.

Thanks...the issue now is that no appointment date available till november.
So do you suggest I get a visa from a Schengen country and enter Poland then change my status?
What do you advice ?

It will be almost impossible to change status when you enter with a wrong visa type. There's a reason why its called a Type D visa. This means it allows you to change status to something more long-term. Schengen Visas are usually issued for a very short duration of time and also not usually allowed to be converted to a Resident permit. But there are exemptions. First contact your University and find out from them. If i remember tomorrow i can call them on your behalf, i believe i can contact Poland as well.

Wroclaw is a very nice city, very foreigner friendly. Have good chances of getting a student job, especially in Telephone customer care in English.

@chuman33 please what specific extra documentations do you suggest?
Let's assume someone comes to borrow money from you, most likely you will ask the person to present you a satisfactory collateral before giving out the money. So assume the same principal here, you are going to borrow a Visa, and they want to be sure you will literally return the "visa" upon completion of your studies. So ask yourself what will someone present to you to be satisfactory enough for you to lend money to the person. Assume the same for the embassy.

Hi guys, my interview is September 27th, I have legalized all documents, and I sent them to my school in Poland, they are sending it back to me soon. I have even paid for most things including 2 months accommodation, school fees and my student I.D card. My school is resuming October 1st, please how long does it take to get my passport back when I get my visa ? Also, My cousin is my sponsor and he lives in the US, we don’t bear the same surname, he is ready to give me a copy of his Passport data page , ID, Employment letter, Bank account statement, Tax payment history, And letter of sponsorship. I also informed him he has to notarize all the documents he will be sending to me at a notary public in Atlanta. Is this okay ?. And if I won’t be able to get my passport back before resumption, do I need to get a letter from the school confirming it’s okay for me to resume late ?
Goodluck with your interview. Endeavor to add documentations that helps with ties back in Nigeria that will compel you to return home upon completion of your program.

You should apply for visa appointment cos from the information in the previous thread it is difficult booking this appointment. And usually the documents sent to your mail should suffice.

Please guys, kindly help with these information. I got an admission offer too to Poznan University of life sciences

So no Eligibility Letter, No Visa?
If you have other docs legalised by MOE and MFA and tuition fee is already paid. Then you should give the visa submit your application. Also if you can convince the VO why you starting after the universities officially starts this week.

I see no reason to lie at MFA because of your eligibility letter the address there is for Poland embassy so they will detect .... I have same problem I have authenticate my credentials since February but was in Abuja to authenticate only my testimonial and eligibility letter but I was told same story and my interview is in 2weeks time .
Obviously its either your intention is to argue with my suggestion or you really didn't get my point. I specifically said MOE and MFA for legalisation of educational documents. Eligibility Letter you mentioned from my experience of those who attended the visa interview was never requested. Since most polish universities can give an extension of time to present the Letter if explained to what the situation is.
Maybe you should make out time and offer possible solutions to those who need it rather than confront someone trying to help.

I have a suggestion that might help regarding the legalisation of documents. When you visit the MOE and MFA don't tell them you are legalising it for the purpose of studying in Poland, choose maybe Czech Republic, same as your birth certificate. Schengen Countries agreement allows you from my experience to use a birth certificate already legalised at a different EU Embassy. Hope that helps.

Hi Chuman,

Thank you for your response.

There are some questions I asked in my previous message to you. Kindly look into it and give answer. I requested for the "Employment Promise Letter" from my employer but I was turned down this morning, probably becos they are thinking about legal stand, only them know.

If there is any other hint to boost my chance you can still let me know.

Thank you.
The employment promise letter as you wrote isn't a requirement, it's a support documentation. Lots of people had applied for Polish Visa and got denied, that's why I recommend making your as unique as possible. From my inquiry it seems those who managed to get Polish Visa in recent are mostly attending Engineering degree programs, especially in Marine Engineering, Warsaw, Gdansk, Sopot, Gydnia. The one main concern is that your commencement of study date seem to be passed before the Visa application. Let's hope they letter from the school will do.

Wow!!! Like seriously you have been helpful with yours responses.

I will try and get the employment promise letter from my current employer. Also, I have an Uncle bearing the same surname with me, he has a completed building property, can I go along with building property documents and claim that I have been managing the property for my Uncle? Can it be part of proof of strong ties with my country? I will gladly appreciate if u make some inquiries and revert. Am a minister in RCCG therefore getting that letter with letter head from the parish priest won't be difficult for me.
OK. You can get as much evidential proof of support as possible.
