Senatorben123:That's very unfortunate. Polish Visa had in recent years been very difficult to get. Let me know the list of the docs you submitted, maybe we can find what is wrong if there's any and then you reapply again, semester haven't commenced. |
ritze:Glad to see someone else sees the reality. |
Slip:I don't know what is wrong with we Nigerians. Do you even know where Opole is? Just because it says University of Opole and for you it's in Poland that's all the information needed. There are many Universities in just Warsaw and Krakow alone, even University of Lodz have up to 100 African students studying anywhere from degree program to Polish language Prep course and the tuition fees ain't far different from eachother, most likely those remote cities tuition fees might be higher. Bro that Poland isn't like other EU countries. They do NOT want black people. They are literally the ONLY country in European Union that strongly refused to accept their given qouta of refugees and damn the threats from EU Parliament and those who manage to enter they made sure life is very hard for them that they all ran to Germany within less than a Month. I have said it here many times, stick to the major cities where foreigners from different shades of colour are living, working and studying. Remote places is a guaranteed mysery. Very high chances you won't successfully go out in the weekends without getting into a fight with bunch of hooligans. Ofcourse you are free to take my advice with a pinch of salt. Reality will fall on you eventually. That's if the Polish Embassy issues you a Visa given the question in their mind why a foreign student will wish to leave his country to such city leaving all the major cities that offers comfort. Not been harsh to you man, just trying to be very honest with you. Good luck |
superduperjay:Done |
nuel101:I guess should be out around August, not sure. But by then admissions are closed and the possibility of getting a Visa and catching up with studies will be almost impossible |
superduperjay:You can pm me |
NONNYG:You have to apply for the Fan ID. If you want the match ticket can give it to you for $90, offer lasts till Friday. Remember original cost of ticket now is above $105 and there's no longer available ticket. |
eldest:Bialystok literally means Whites Only. Although I know a Nigerian guy living there before. You don't need an Agent/Consultant or whatever they call themselves these days. Admission to Polish Universities is pretty straightforward and no TOEFL is mostly required. I can't tell you which schools are still open for admission, but try to stick with big Cities, Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Poznan, Gdansk. Contact the schools to find out if they still open for admissions. |
chuman33:NONNYG |
Anyone in need of Japan Vs Poland match ticket for just 100 usd. |
Veektore:If your uncle is living there and you will be living with him then I believe he's in best position to give you all the appropriate information |
Veektore:There's no requirement to be admitted once you are 18 years old. University of Lodz have the most reputable Polish Language Program in Poland. As per chances of Visa, no one can assure you of this, but surely lower than for those applying for Bsc or MSc program. |
Gracely7th:If your friend lives in Poland, then he shouldn't be paying anything in euro as it's allowed to pay same amount in Polish Zloty. Like I advise my friends who wish to pay fees and tuitions. Buy bitcoin, etc, send it to the person, he can withdraw that in fiat directly to his bank account and use that to pay for you. That way you both spend less than €1 in bank charges. |
Senatorben123:Sorry bro, been busy. For the purpose of other benefiting, you can ask me the questions here and I can try to advise to the best of my knowledge. Good luck in your application |
Dmasked1:Legalize your docs at MOE and MFA. And then the WAEC Certificate and Birth Certificate at the Polish Embassy. Go through the start of the Thread, those info is already there. Talk to SWPS, they suppose to assist you with student housing or direct you on how to get one. I know of a Private Hostel that I can guarantee you accommodation in for €200 per month, but that's after you must have gotten Visa. Best of luck |
Senatorben123:You can put the intended date of arrival as a week or few days before the course start date. As for your date of departure after course, you can put few weeks to a month after finishing your course, doesn't matter coz you will be given additional 6 months to 1 year Resident Permit for you to find job and if you do then you can extend your Permit. Remember that for every 1 year you are legally studying in Poland counts as 6months towards you getting your Permanent Resident Permit, meaning for 5 years study you are 2 and half years counting, and the needed duration of time for granting of Permanent Resident Permit is 5 years. All the best |
Ggetter50:Exactly |
ctivbrawn:I don't understand you. If you check on this thread, I don't like when I give someone clear guidelines they still come around to ask the same question multiple times |
ctivbrawn:I don't know the cost. Already told you who I know did that not long ago. They mostly require your WAEC Certificate and nothing more as I remember. |
ctivbrawn:Yes it does, it will give the estimated number of hours it takes to achieve that proficiency in English, usually they write 300-600hrs. They will also state the estimated number of hours for the rest of the subjects you took in WAEC and equally attest that you are eligible to be admitted into Nigeria University. Hope that helps. |
ctivbrawn:You should talk to gowaga68, he have done that for someone not too long ago. |
ananaosei:If you already been given admission you don't need to go to Nigeria/Ghana to apply for Visa if you have current Estonian Resident Permit. You just come to Poland, go to Urzad Wojewodzki Lublin and apply for the Study Resident Permit. They should issue you Permit for the duration of your studies, unless the law changed, in which case I won't be surprised, they amending/changing laws. |
ctivbrawn:No, won't work |
ctivbrawn:It's good. I had to clarify that because lots of people read this thread and won't want them to be misinformed. I know someone in Nigeria who have helped a candidate in the past, if you have such funds to foot his bills I can quote his member id and you can follow up with him. Also try to ask those here who might have applied for it if they can be of help. As for letter from your Principal that will not be accepted, its 100% required to present that Eligibility Letter there's no way around it. Remember it officially takes MOE 5 working days to get it ready. Goodluck |
ctivbrawn:You ARE wrong. NECO is equally accepted as entry requirement for admission into Bachelor Degree Programs in Europe. Will be great if you abstain from sharing false information. |
vocalprince:You can apply to move to another country once your Study Resident Permit is out which can take up to 4 months to be ready. You can as well use your already issued National Type D Visa which is usually valid for 1 Year. If you wish to go to Norway, apply for Admission for the University and get it before moving to Poland then that saves you time to simply fly to Norway and complete the application for Norwegian Study Permit. As for Canada, if it's very reliable then there shouldn't be a need to go to Poland whereas possibility to work in Canada is surely on the table. |
vocalprince:I appreciate your kind words. Lublin is somewhat of a Student city with international students community. As you can hear from the name.of the university, it's Pope John Paul II, founded in his name. You have to understand that Polish Universities ain't that highly ranked in the world scale. This University is ranked 2495 in the World and 25 in Poland. Its founded in 1918 as a strictly Catholic school, which can play positively during your Visa interview if you can sound all religious, giving reasons for choosing such university and maybe getting somewhat of a Letter from your Parish Priest, these will aid your visa application, Poland considers itself the most Catholic country in Europe. That aside. Getting a student job.in Poland is very hard to comeby, that's why millions of Poles are migrating to every corner of Europe, they are considered the blacks of Europe. When we talk about Racism I still maintain a stand that Poland isn't the best place to relocate to for Studies and economic reasons, and like I previously in this thread stated. If you must come to Poland, stick to the big cities, makes life much easier, good thing is once you in Poland, you can easily transfer to any university in Poland as well as within Europe. |
olasquare2018:Asking the same question over and over again when clear answers and guidelines have been given doesn't sound very good for someone wishing to study abroad. Eligibility Letter doesn't stop you from applying for a Visa. As a matter of fact if you already gotten admission legalization of Eligibility Letter is honestly of no importance anymore. I'm recommending it to avoid misunderstandings with the university upon your arrival. So those and further action on legalization can be done AFTER you must have gotten your Visa. Birth certificate and WAEC Certificate is all the Embassy will be needing from you in terms of Legalization. Lublin is somewhat of a Student City, he shouldn't have problems. Hope that's adequately and abundantly clear. Goodluck |
ctivbrawn:When you say Spanish card do you mean Permanent resident permit? Coz that's the only way you can get exception of not either paying tuition fee/pay tuition fee applicable to polish/EU nationals. You can scan and send someone in Nigeria your legalized documents to go with to the MOE for the Eligibility Letter. But on a second thought, I don't think the issue of Eligibility Letter applies to applicants for Master's programs. So contact them to ascertain further and as par your application, you must still apply under international students if you are not a holder of Spanish Permanent resident permit/ EU national. |
ctivbrawn:Just call them on the phone and inform them you want to get the decision. You don't really have anything to worry about. You almost certainly got the admission as I can see you are priority 1. Which means your decision will be sent out first. Are you studying in terms applicable to EU Citizens? |
olasquare2018:You can use one appointment for visa submission and legalization as well. The university is a good one and Krakow is a lovely city, most Poles prefer and see Krakow as the most beautiful and loved city in Poland, better than Warsaw they say. |
ctivbrawn:Qualified candidates means you almost admitted. There's nothing to worry about unless you submitted false documents or fail to submit documents they will be requesting from you. But if you have done all of the above then there's nothing to worry about, your admission is almost certain. |

Ya'll shuld pls help me.. i dnt wanna sit my ass at home 4 another year!.
