Don't mind your agent, they probably change the gckey login details because they know your application is reaching it final stage and they will only release the new login detail once you pay their balance after you receive your PPR

There's nothing to worry about. Mine took 3weeks plus, infact fear don dey catch me sef, not until my visa was sent to me last week Friday 23rd, vfs Lagos are very useless

I paid the 18710 courier fee tho

Two, first just asked why are you here, told him to see my wife, he collected receipt from the kiosk n marked it. I even thought I’ve passed immigration until I was directed to immigration desk again.

Just be relaxed, it’s nothing serious. Be familiar with everything you filled during your application.

I just arrived, since on Thursday ahhh

Used klm
Flight 11:45pm on 22nd arrived Amsterdam past 7am.
Next flight for 12pm Netherlands time, we boarded and one story to another by klm for 4hrs inside plane then on the run way moving already before they said AC is bad etc they sha cancelled the flight booked for only one night for hotel and flight is supposed to be in 2days time(Saturday 5pm) and my conference is on friday abi what is this nothing wey man fit do. They said the hotel will update it... OK ooo.
We sha wait to use hotel that's outside of the airport, immigration refused because we don't have schengen or Netherlands visa but later they sha run Background check and gave some of us 2days stay visa inside Netherlands and passport stamped naxo I sha enter and still see my elder brother.

Back to the hotel matter, after first night and now check out time na im hotel ppl tell us say klm paid for 1night and we had to leave(this happened to all ppl in different hotels) we got back to airport and klm told us to pay for 2nd night including other expenses and we will be refunded... issorite ooo

Saturday sha came and we zoomed but then some people are still left as plane over full and klm asked for volunteers who are willing to cancel their flight and will be compensated... to cut it short we landed successfully.

At POE I didn't spent up to 50secs

Me: xyz conference (didn't even ask if conference passed or not as the flight delay caused it)

Officer: is this related to your profession?

Me: YES, she checked my information on her system.

Officer: How many days are you staying and what accommodation?

Me: x days and y hotel

Your visa application has been approved or refuted, in your case , I believe it was approved.
The enemy in this case is VFS.

You should exercise patience , and do more of sending emails to VFS going forward.
Congrats on your relocation to Canada , do well to make us proud. Try to get jobs if you a tech person , start right out with vanhack.com and see if you can also get Jobs there.

Or check webs for companies that offer LMIA, and see if you can secure open or closed permits. Once again , best of luck.

If I were to suggest and advice , I wouldn't know your background, but nearly everyone I been in contact with with other backgrounds are migrating to tech. I'd say for easier and safer landing , would you consider that?

I checked my application on the tracker and it was updated on the 14th. It says

Application: closed
Eligibility: completed
Background check: completed
Medical: completed
Biometric: completed

But my visitor visa details are still showing, please what does this mean ?

I'm yet to receive my passport back from vfs though

Please does this mean anything ?

They will, God's grace. Just keep calm.
Try to also send them emails and ask in the regard of your status. That should also remind them of you in a way.

It's approximately 2 weeks now and vfs hasn't returned my passport, I submitted 26th may before the presidential inauguration 😭

But that is why you have to settle for survival jobs and get the Canadian experience before applying for your dream job because most employer are always looking for applicant with the Canadian experience

A lot Nigerians (PR, international students etc) do this survival jobs before they land their dream jobs
So you must first of all settle for less because it's more easier to get a survival job

And when I mean survival jobs.....I mean cleaner, cashier, store attendant etc those minimum wage jobs ($15 per hour jobs)

the chances of getting a job while on a visitors visa is next to zero. There are PR, Post graduate work permit guys on ground that can resume tomorrow who haven’t gotten jobs. 99% of the job applications will bounce you once you click that you dont have work status during application. Alot of people are currently stranded in Canada thinking they can get job with visitors visa. Those runsing jobs are paying up to 20k dols for 15 dols per hour job. My fellow countrymen beware o. Canada is not USA

IT analyst and project manager are in high demand

The people that got PPR April 12, the four of my friends.... all their Visa counterfoil says LAGOS as issued location.

It's no longer at Nairobi.

I guess so.....as long as you're retuning and you have a return ticket.
