Militant group, Niger Delta Avengers, claim they blew up an ExxonMobile pipeline in Akwa Ibom state yesterday July 11th. Read the statement they shared on their website below:-

"At about 7:30pm yesterday July 11th, the Niger Delta Avengers blow up ExxonMobile Qua Iboe 48" crude oil export pipeline. When will these International Oil companies (IOC) learn to listen. We (Niger Delta Avengers) said no export".

A blog reader with First name Chukwuemeka, got his call picked by God. The young graduate who is currently waiting for service decided to try out his hands on soccer betting. According to him, he had lost over N30,000 since he started. But on 5th July 2016, he had a massive win.

For over 2 hours now, there has been a massive protest in Egor Local Government Area of Edo State. The workers have blocked the majors roads in Egor LGA over 17 months unpaid salaries by the State Government. The State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomole promised them something ago that their salaries will be made available but up till now, no move has been made. At the moment, the area is still very loud and rowdy. See photos from the protest below:-

Media aide to Ekiti state governor, Ayo Fayose, says the N389 million the EFCC reportedly found in Fayose's account is from his savings. Lere said this in an interview with Channels TV yesterday. Read below:-

"By EFCC's account, they found N389 million in the account of Governor Ayo Fayose. There are people that have been accused of buying two houses in Dubai and they said they used their savings to buy the houses. So the money in the account of governor Ayo Fayose is also his savings. And even if they accuse him of buying properties, was he not having properties before he became governor in 2003? Was he not living comfortably before he became governor?"he said

According to @uncanny_sam, who shared the photos on twitter, his uncle Reverend Zakariya was killed by herdsmen in Obi LGA of Nassarawa State on June 30.

"We have become preys that's hunted by a marauding beast in our land. I will keep shouting till justice is done. How long will we suffer this, he left a very young family, 3 of his children are currently in the university" he tweeted.

Simon Muleng Mwila from Zambia took to Facebook today to narrate how he used "African Anti Theft Method" to safeguard his car from thieves, after it developed a fault. What he wrote below:

"Last night my car developed a fault and could not move.. My Komboni is full of petty thieves.. I knew I will find my car without tyres and side mirrors.. Being the smart guy I am..
