PoliticsRe: Governor Orji Uzor Kalu of Abia State, for President? by Chxta(m): 1:21pm On Jul 20, 2006
I voted no on this one, and I won't dignify Kalu by giving reasons. Go to Ebem Ohafia (Umuahia and Aba are too obvious that it becomes common place) and know how far.

As for the impression the man would give the international community should Naija be unfortunate enough to have his as president, I have only this to say: It is better to keep your mouth shut and give the impression that you are stupid than to open it and remove all doubt.
PoliticsRe: Igbo Presidency by Chxta(m): 1:12pm On Jul 20, 2006
But come to think of it, this thread is actually quite silly. . .

Asking if an Igboman would be okay as president is the same thing as asking if my guy's dogs would be good guards.

The answer to both questions is purely subjective.

Igbomen such as Arthur Nzeribe (again!) and Orji Kalu would make terrible presidents. On the other hand, Igbomen such as Emeka Chikelu and Ike Nwachukwu would make fine presidents IMHO.

Same way, a Yorubaman such as Awo would have made a terrible president, while MKO would have made a fine president.

Those are just my opinions, and once again, the question is purely subjective. Those who voted Hell no need to have their heads examined. Same as those who are trying to make this a tribal thread. . .

Someone placed this comment on my blog:

I must be honest: I am increasingly impressed with the way some of these guys are sticking with their club in these hard times. Inspite of the fact I aint too fond of the Old Lady, I have to say: that's loyalty, and it is worth emulating everywhere.

Nutter:
I am inclined to believe this. However, you are speaking in terms of the hypothetical. Focus should remain on the current crises - the reason(s) that led to it and the activities of the parties involved. In any evaluation, it will be misleading to mount supposition atop supposition.

This is understandable but it doesn’t excuse the murder of innocents.
Funny feeling, myself and Nutter on the same side in an argument. . .

My thoughts and opinions on the Israel thing are well documented on my blog, not just in that particular article. . .

nferyn I have a lot to say to you, but let me perambulate around the forums first. Been a while. . .

Chxta,

Who among your list do you think is desirable? Apart from Del Pierro NO ONE IS!

So let them stay.

## I'm no Juve Hater##
Good for you that you're not a Juve hater.

Actually, as a result of their ages, Alex and Zanetti are the least desirable on that list. Fiorentina bought Bojinov for $16 million at the age of 20. Tells you a lot about him doesn't it?
