Ganyak:I like this caveat. |
antidisestablis:Are you a medical professional?? Don't give false assurances about what you don't know. Neither acyclovir nor livolin has any action against the hepatitis b virus. The only true information you gave is the one concerning hepatitis b immunoglobulin, which can prevent transmission. What your sister had could be hepatitis c, which is curable, or acute hepatitis b, which could spontaneously resolve in some immunoe-competent people. Once one tests positive for chronic hepatitis b, it is usually for life, unless a miracle happens. If you know the number of medical doctors hepatitis b has kept out of work from the middle eastern countries(where one can't work if he tests positive), you won't be giving this simple, falsily reassuring information. Such doctors are always returned back to Nigeria. You think they can't afford ordinary Acyclovir or livolin? Goal of treatment so far is not cure, but to decrease the viral loads, halt progression, and prevent/reduce chronic liver disease and cancer. |
nobsalis:Reducing the viral load does not amount to curing it. Retroviral drugs also do the same to HIV, without curing it. The person you quoted was very correct. There's currently no cure for hepatitis B, unlike hepatitis C. |
Apart from HIV/AIDS and malnutrition, other causes of unexplained weight loss include cancers of any type, chronic disease conditions like kidney, liver failures, sarcoidosis, TB, Hyperthyroidism, etc. Your friend should visit a good hospital for full evaluation and diagnosis. Doing random, isolated, self-advised tests is not the best way to go. |
Acidosis:Bros, the only reason driving the migration is POOR remuneration. As for services, they're needed in every other country, including Nigeria. |
ramon212:Of what use will it be to you? Are you a medical doctor? Which ever way, just know that the salary of a specialist/consultant in Nigeria is far below that of a fresh medical officer in the middle east, and the West, and that that's the reason we've been migrating. |
Flash83:I thought they've stopped that category of investors?? I would be happy if they could stop them permanently, as panics and unnecessary rumours usually arise from those small capital investors, who sweat so much to raise their capitals and depend so much on it with their entire life. Usually, anyone who can raise 360,000 for this venture, already has enough to eat, and won't have time to be drawn into unnecessary panics and rumours that may derail the business. For me, let there be a capital NO to small capital investors. I still remember what they did to some of us in MMM with their "market women" kind of rumours and panics. Most rumours originate from the market places and streets where those hustlers dwell, and once it starts, there's usually no end to it. |
MyOpinion1:This is what poverty has succeeded in doing to the minds of average Nigerians! This is a very regrettable and shameful statement. |
Just shut up! |
Zibahstores:What kind of interest do you do? How long have you been in it? Where's it located? How much interest can you give per month and for how long? Any collateral? |
Supplement at 76,400 naira? That sounds like that fraud called stc30! I wish you goodluck if anyone deems it fit to give you money to pay for that scam thing. Meanwhile, your wife has had 2 ectopic pregnancies and 2 surgeries! That's one for each tube! I hope they informed you that the remnant of a tube is tied off during an ectopic pregnancy surgery, removing the possibility for any future pregnancy?? Bros, with 2 tubes gone, you need serious prayers. That should be your main concern(as the cost of IVF is quite high), and not any unreliable supplement from those fraudulent stc30 sellers. |
Good that you took that step. Wish every other Nigerian will have that awareness and improve on their health-seeking behaviour, as it's obtainable in developed countries. But what's a chronic fever?? That's not a diagnosis! Your cousin didn't actually benefit from that hospital visit. So, as this health-seeking behaviour improves, we should also demand for value for our money from the hospitals, and avoid such places where patients are diagnosed with "chronic fever". Chronic fever(fever lasting for 3wks) can be caused by TB, HIV, leukaemia, hepatitis b, c, brain abscess, pelvic abscess, EBV, brucellosis, toxoplasmosis, rheumatoid arthritis, SLE, Tooth abscess, thyrotoxicosis, cancer of any type, etc. So, which one does your friend have?? As far as I'm concerned, that's not a hospital, unless you quoted them wrongly. |
Ezyoung:A 25% Podophyllin cream can be used here, as the sizes are small. But that should only be applied by a doctor. I do not encourage self treatment, as this cream can burn your normal skin if improperly used. Most hospitals, especially privates, do not have it; so you may need to run around your city to buy first before going to the hospital. |
kadiri3:Which one? 24hrs? That's a wonderful film acted by human beings in an organized society! |
https://www.quora.com/Which-is-better-stem-cell-STC-30-or-double-stem-cell These are the views of international medical experts concerning it. Stc30 is a combination of extracts from plants, that just contain antioxidants/supplements, especially Vitamin c from blackcurrant plants. It does not possess the superpower abilities the fraudulent-minded Nigerian marketers award to it. Often times, patients ard deceived into relying on this thing according to what the marketers tell them, believing it will heal them, only to realise when their diseases are already advanced that the drug is not better than taking ordinary water. This has helped delayed early presentations to the hospitals, and has sent many to their untimely graves. With the poor state of the Nigerian healthcare system, a patient presenting with an already advanced disease is as good as already dead. People should engage in genuine businesses that should not put the lives of others at risk. |
kadiri3:Which Americans? Unless you're talking about your fellow asshole black Americans, who share the same ancestry with you, and behave exactly like you. Normal Americans are taking precautions, even while partaking in the protests. |
Generalgoshen:That means you did 2m. Congrats! I like people that have the mind to take risk. Money is man-made, and not like life that's irreplaceable when lost. If money is lost, with time it can still be replaced, though we must always pray for the best. I did 1m for my wife today, and will be expecting 150k monthly. That will be her monthly salary, while I look forward to channeling my salary to other important stuffs. As it is written, the expectations of the righteous cannot be cut short! |
Good write-up, but you nearly spoiled it by concluding with "natural cure for diabetes using pawpaw leaves" This may mislead people reading this beautiful piece into abandoning standard treatment protocols to embark on cheaper, unproven options, as we can't really say what the active ingredient in pawpaw leaves is. The main problem in Diabetes is inadequate insulin production or insulin insensitivity/resistance, as the case may be. Now, do pawpaw leaves contain insulin?? We must answer this vital question before we can recommend them or any other herbal stuffs to these not-so-lucky people. |
Thank God immensely for the Bill and Melinda foundation. If not for them, northern Nigeria would have remained the epicenter of polio for centuries to come. Conspiracy theories should go to help. |
obiekunie2:Yea, but if she can neither stand nor sit for long, nah for bed she go constantly lie? Her mattress and pockets/bank accounts will have "complications" too. The truth is sitting does not cause as much problems as standing does. The problem with those varicose veins is that they are no longer able to return blood back to the heart for continued circulation, as their valves are now as incompetent as Buhari. With incompetent valves, blood now pools/remains stagnant and even moves downwards, instead of upwards, and gravity worsens that when standing. The effect of gravity on the legs when sitting is not much, and she can further downgrade it by raising her legs on a side stool or wearing an elastic compression stockings. Compression stockings help to create the pressure that will move the blood upwards back to the heart, and empty those ugly looking bluish veins. NB: The bluish colour is due to the de-oxygenated blood(without oxygen) in the veins. Oxygenated blood in arteries are red, while the de- oxygenated blood in veins are bluish. I put this last one so that people won't think creams or bleaching agents will "clear" it. If you bleach your blood, your "Egungun don enter express". |
They're call varicose veins--- dilated, tortuous veins filled with blood. You can't just "clear" them. Your fear should be about the complications they may produce as time goes by. To reduce such complications, you need to avoid prolonged standing and wearing of high-heeled shoes. You may also need to start putting on long, tight stockings(pressure or compressive stockings) to compress the veins. The definitive treatment is surgical removal of those veins. They'll soon come and tell you the creams and stc30 to use, but all that are pure rubbish. |
