According to a reliable source, cultist at the university has been terrorizing student hostel near Ring Road area of Jos, Plateau State. David's remains was buried today.

Though many were surprised at the public announcement governor Oshiomhole made about his wife Iara Fortez being a virgin until her wedding night. I can only say that is was good of her to maintain her virginity till the age of 30.

Update On Lagos To Abuja Trek: Hasheem Is Being Hosted By Alhaji Mohammed Awwal Ibrahim, The Emir Of Suleja.

As he gets ready for his final trek, Hasheem was hosted by Emir of Suleja and was also some medical check up as his feet was a little swollen. Other than that, he is doing perfectly ok.

Hasheem who has now trekked for 18 days arrived Suleja at about 1:37pm to a rousing welcome by supporters and was received at the palace of the emir of Suleja, HRH Awwal Ibrahim.

The 33 year-old, had made a promise to trek from Lagos to Abuja if Buhari wins the presidential election, saying the purpose of terminating his journey in Abuja is where he thinks he could see the retired General and congratulate him.

Hasheem, who grew up in Osun and Lagos, now lives in Ibadan where he is working in a construction company.

Hasheem told reporters that his decision to embark on the mission was borne out of the happiness he feels for Buhari for becoming a leader for the masses.

He said in Bida four days ago that after 13 days of trekking, he has worn-out five pairs of shoes with a new pair just bought for him by a good Samaritan.

Hasheem said before embarking on his mission, he ensured that he was financially equipped but to his amazement, up to the time he arrived Suleja, he did not have to spend a single kobo from his pocket because of kind, generous receptions he has been receiving.

Update On Man trekking From Lagos To Abuja - In Lambata Leaving For Sulleija Today


The traveler left Lapai exactly 4:30am yesterday in d morning and arrived Lambata around 5pm in the evening.

The journey is less than 60km and took him about 13 hours. He will be living for Sulleija today and will need your prayers for continued journey mercy.

The 3 children of the Orekoya family who were kidnapped by their nanny has been found. Their mother shared the news on her Facebook page. Above is what she wrote...

It would be recalled that her kidnappers demanded for a N13million ransom for the release of the children. The parents did not however state if the money was eventually paid. Thank God they are safe. I hope other parents have learned from this. Never leave your children in the care of total strangers…nanny or not!

Yesterday I told you about a young man who is currently trekking from Lagos to Abuja over a vow he made that he will embark on the uphill task if Buhari emerges president of Nigeria.

Well, the trekking man is still in Bida...Looks like he is resting there as he was given a Royal welcome to Bida Kingdom by HRH Alhaji (Dr) (Brig. Gen) Yahaya Abubakar rtd CFR. He was also handed an envelope. The young man really mean business.

One thing I have learned from this 2015 election are;

Never look down on the people you so call say are "below you" (quoted because I don't believe that word, we all are equal)

Jonathan looked everywhere but missed to look at the simplest of places which is the masses. He went to Emirs, babalawos, kings, chiefs, celebrities, pastors who were after his fat envelopes, and many more. If he had just for a second paused and spent time listening to the cry of the masses. He wouldn't have been on his way back to his village. Just watch and see how the same people will be flocking for President Buhari's attention.

At a reception celebrating Black History Month, U.S. President, Barrack Obama met and commended Nigerian-American student, Saheela Ibraheem on her feat as she was named among the World’s 50 Smartest Teenagers.

She had the honor of introducing the President and First Lady Michelle Obama at the event. Below is a bit of what The Best Schools website had to say about the teenager.

At just 15 years old, Saheela Ibraheem was accepted into Harvard University, which makes her among the youngest students ever to attend that school. But that’s not the most impressive part, Saheela was accepted at 12 other colleges, including MIT, the University of Pennsylvania, Cornell, Brown, Princeton, Columbia, and the University of Chicago.

Saheela’s Nigerian parents, totally supportive of the young scholar, sometimes taught her subjects the schools didn’t offer. Saheela believes the key to success is knowing what you love to learn as early as possible, a knowledge she says she came to at age five.

“If you are passionate about what you do, and I am passionate about many things, especially math and science, it will work out well.” The teen is also interested in languages, and knows Yoruba, Arabic, Spanish, and Latin, in addition to English.

As for her own brain, Saheela claims she is nothing special. “I try my best in everything I do,” Saheela said. “Anyone who’s motivated can work wonders.”

A lot of women seem to think BUTT is their greatest ASSet. And they will use it with the quickness to attract a man. But here's the one fatal flaw in that strategy ladies:

When a man is attracted to your butt, your butt is what he's really after. And just like a kid with a new toy; once he's done playing with your butt and the newness of it has worn off, he'll be off to find his next plaything.

A man will typically start losing interest in new butt right around the 3 month mark. Six at the latest. By then he's already done any and every nasty, freaky thing to it he can imagine. The novelty of playing with it wears off.

A helicopter hovered the skies of Adamawa on Thursday, dropping flyers residents say may have emanated from a breakaway faction of Boko Haram,

The leaflets contain renunciation of the sect and apology messages to the people. It is the second time in two weeks the Boko Haram sect has distributed flyers.The first batch warned northerners not to go to the polls.

The message showed spellings and pronunciations that appeared Nigerien or Chadian and not Nigerian Hausa,Daily Post Reports.

Below is translation of the message.
“We started this jihad of Ahlis sunna lidda awati together as one. We sleep together, we eat and drink together. We studied the Holy Quran and prayed together in the early days of this Jihad. Those of us that are doing the work of God for the past 5yrs today.“We have to realize today that we are being used for selfish and corrupt reasons. We have reached a situation whereby our leaders are enjoying and we are suffering in the name of jihad.
“The Holy Quran in 8;61 has told us that the religion of islam of peace. Again the Holy Quran has been very clear on the rules of jihad in 2;190. And again in 6;151 that no one should kill and that life is sacred and it belongs to God.
“Though we started good (in honor) with preaching and teaching rules of Islam. We have woken up today to burn villages and kill those who have done nothing to us especially Christians without any just cause.
“We have sent people away from their homes and villages. And we have killed Muslims even though the Quran has forbidden so in 4;-29-30. All the properties we found in those villages and towns were parked and sold on the streets of Ndjamena Chad, Bosso Niger, and Fotokol Cameroon.“And the proceed went to their pockets calling themselves our leaders. even though its supposed to be for our jihad. And calling for more in destroying our country for no reason”.

Remember sometime ago, I brought a story about the Federal University of Technology situated in Owerri, Imo State, southeast Nigeria, that witnessed what many did describe as the "unbelievable" on February 11, 2015, Wednesday as ‘miracle water’ was seen gushing out from a tree around the university bus park.

More than 2,000 people rushed to the premises of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State, after a story spread in the city last Wednesday that water, which had healing powers, was flowing from a Neem tree close to the Christian chapel on the campus.

The news which hit the city at about 10am attracted lots of students, staff of the institution, and villagers from Ihiagwa, Eziobodo, and other communities surrounding the university, who thronged the premises and struggling to scoop up the supposed ‘miracle water’ for healing purposes.

Expectedly, the sudden invasion of the campus by a mass of people, who obviously were not students, attracted the attention of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chigozie Asiabaka according to reports.

Boko Haram Leader Shekau Releases New Video, Says Nigeria’s Election Will Not Hold In Peace

Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau vowed to disrupt Nigeria’s general election in a new video released Tuesday, after two suicide attacks in the Northeast blamed on the Islamists killed 38 people.

“This election will not be held even if we are dead. Even if we are not alive Allah will never allow you to do it,” Shekau said in the Hausa language, presumably referring to the polls scheduled for March 28.

The video appeared to be the first message released by the group on Twitter, a sign of its changing media tactics after previous messages were distributed to journalists on DVD.

Shekau was shown in unusual clarity in front of a solid blue background, dressed in black and with an automatic weapon resting to his right.

He also claimed a weekend attack in the Northeast Nigerian City of Gombe, which the military says was repelled.

The Islamist leader, declared a global terrorist by the United States and sanctioned by the United Nations, disputed the military’s account of the Gombe clashes, claiming that his fighters overran troops and freed insurgents from prison.
