good afternoon Sabi Mama's, I'm 33 weeks today, decide to go for scan also and was measuring 38 weeks full term. baby is measuring 2.79kg already. according to LMP and first scan, my Edd is 18/21 November while today EDD is 13 October. I'm just confused, I don't know what to think because the gap is much. should I be worried?

No worries here, just be ready for the possibility of porting to October.

Am a little bit confused, i met with gynae yesterday and she outrightly suggested that i go for elective CS based on the fact that i had emergency CS due to failed induction six years ago when i had my first.

I asked her if there is any other reason why i cant try VBAC asides that she said no, so i told her to give me till next week so i can think about it.

I really want to try VBAC since i am eligible for it, my prayer is that I experience fast labor. I started experience menstrual like cramps and back ache two days ago, i guess my body is already getting set.

Apparently I'm a small size lady and baby weight is currently at 3.8kg. she says it might be a difficult VGB and suggested CS.

Awwww please listen to your doctor teamie or do that pelvic scan that shows if you can deliver vaginally or not. I forgot what that scan is called.

It is not possible as she will sit with you to take it,the question I am asking is this,is it safe to take something that has alcohol in it just 8 days after CS?I don't have the strength to argue cos I have cried too much during this recovery process,and can I sit on hot water too as it is part of the things we are starting tomorrow like this

Sorry about that. The doctors on AtG platform advised against new moms taking alcohol because the baby will suck it from the breasts. I don't know if its safe for you to take it either because of the CS. I don't know about the hot water part either, mamas who have had a CS please kindly advise our sis.

If you are uncomfortable with anything they bring, tell them your doctor doesn't approve of it for now. Collect it, say thank you and throw away later.

During my first trimester I vomited a lot but it all went but at the beginning of this week have started vomiting again and having this serious headache, please what can I do..I'm tired ... just treated malaria last month, was told it also malaria again but I don't have enough for now, I'm thinking of getting herbs please any recommendations. Hi mama, don't do self medication or use herbs not approved by your doctor. It's possible the malaria wasn't properly treated and that's why it's recurring. Make sure you are not exposed to mosquitoes and try to visit the hospital again.

Yes she's aware. She's suggesting CS. Why? I moved to Lagos two months ago, did another scan and EDD was September 18th. The first I did was Oct 4th then later Sept 29th.

So I'm just a bit disturbed. Note the First EDD was Oct 4th and done at 7 weeks.

Do you remember the first day of your last menstrual cycle? I think it's most accurate.If baby is over 37 weeks and you have been stuck at 2cm over a week, I think its best you listen to your doctor. The best thing is to have your bundle of joy at the end of it all.

I think you should speak to your doctor about it. Sometimes fluid can be less or more and I think this isn't good enough but I may be wrong. Speak to your doctor to put your mind at rest.
